1 Del maestro de coro. Salmo. De David.	1 For the leader. A psalm of David.
2 Escucha, oh Dios, la voz de mi gemido, del terror del enemigo guarda mi vida;	2 O God, hear my anguished voice; from the foes I dread protect my life.
3 ocúltame a la pandilla de malvados, a la turba de los agentes de mal.	3 Hide me from the malicious crowd, the mob of evildoers.
4 Los que afilan su lengua como espada, su flecha apuntan, palabra envenenada,	4 They sharpen their tongues like swords, ready their bows for arrows of poison words.
5 para tirar a escondidas contra el íntegro, le tiran de improviso y nada temen.	5 They shoot at the innocent from ambush, shoot without risk, catch them unawares.
6 Se envalentonan en su acción malvada, calculan para tender lazos ocultos, dicen: «¿Quién lo observará	6 They resolve on their wicked plan; they conspire to set snares; they say: "Who will see us?"
7 y escrutará nuestros secretos?» El los escruta, aquel que escruta lo íntimo del hombre, el corazón profundo.	7 They devise wicked schemes, conceal the schemes they devise; the designs of their hearts are hidden.
8 Una saeta ha tirado Dios, repentinas han sido sus heridas;	8 But God will shoot arrows at them and strike them unawares.
9 les ha hecho caer por causa de su lengua, menean la cabeza todos los que los ven.	9 They will be brought down by their own tongues; all who see them will shake their heads.
10 Todo hombre temerá. anunciará la obra de Dios y su acción comprenderá.	10 Then all will fear and proclaim God's deed, pondering what has been done.
11 El justo se alegrará en Yahveh, en él tendrá cobijo; y se gloriarán todos los de recto corazón.	11 The just will rejoice and take refuge in the LORD; all the upright will glory in their God.
