VULGATA | KING JAMES BIBLE |
---|---|
In finem, pro susceptione matutina. Psalmus David. | 1 The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! |
Deus, Deus meus, respice in me : quare me dereliquisti ? longe a salute mea verba delictorum meorum. | 2 Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah. |
| 3 For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head. |
Tu autem in sancto habitas, laus Israël. | 4 He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever. |
In te speraverunt patres nostri ; speraverunt, et liberasti eos. | 5 His glory is great in thy salvation: honour and majesty hast thou laid upon him. |
| 6 For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance. |
| 7 For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved. |
Omnes videntes me deriserunt me ; locuti sunt labiis, et moverunt caput. | 8 Thine hand shall find out all thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee. |
Speravit in Domino, eripiat eum : salvum faciat eum, quoniam vult eum. | 9 Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them. |
| 10 Their fruit shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men. |
In te projectus sum ex utero ; de ventre matris meæ Deus meus es tu : | 11 For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform. |
| 12 Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them. |
Circumdederunt me vituli multi ; tauri pingues obsederunt me. | 13 Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so will we sing and praise thy power. |
Aperuerunt super me os suum, sicut leo rapiens et rugiens. | |
Sicut aqua effusus sum, et dispersa sunt omnia ossa mea : factum est cor meum tamquam cera liquescens in medio ventris mei. | |
Aruit tamquam testa virtus mea, et lingua mea adhæsit faucibus meis : et in pulverem mortis deduxisti me. | |
Quoniam circumdederunt me canes multi ; concilium malignantium obsedit me. Foderunt manus meas et pedes meos ; | |
dinumeraverunt omnia ossa mea. Ipsi vero consideraverunt et inspexerunt me. | |
Diviserunt sibi vestimenta mea, et super vestem meam miserunt sortem. | |
Tu autem, Domine, ne elongaveris auxilium tuum a me ; ad defensionem meam conspice. | |
Salva me ex ore leonis, et a cornibus unicornium humilitatem meam. | |
Narrabo nomen tuum fratribus meis ; in medio ecclesiæ laudabo te. | |
Qui timetis Dominum, laudate eum ; universum semen Jacob, glorificate eum. | |
Timeat eum omne semen Israël, quoniam non sprevit, neque despexit deprecationem pauperis, nec avertit faciem suam a me : et cum clamarem ad eum, exaudivit me. | |
Apud te laus mea in ecclesia magna ; vota mea reddam in conspectu timentium eum. | |
Manducaverunt et adoraverunt omnes pingues terræ ; in conspectu ejus cadent omnes qui descendunt in terram. | |
Et anima mea illi vivet ; et semen meum serviet ipsi. | |
Annuntiabitur Domino generatio ventura ; et annuntiabunt cæli justitiam ejus populo qui nascetur, quem fecit Dominus. |
