Levitico 26

1 Io sono lo vostro Iddio. Sicchè non farete idoli nè figure nè imagini, nè pietra insigne (e notabile) dirizzerete nella terra vostra per adorare. Però ch' io son lo Signore Iddio vostro.	1 Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the LORD your God.
2 Osservate li miei sabbati (e le mie solennitadi) e abbiate in reverenza lo mio santuario. Io son Signore.	2 Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD.
3 Se voi seguiterete li miei comandamenti e osserverete quelli e fareteli, io vi darò molte cose alli suoi tempi.	3 If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them;
4 E la terra germinerà lo frutto suo, e li arbori si riempiranno di frutti.	4 Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
5 Sarà tanta la trituratura delle biade tagliate, che impedirà la vendemmia; e la vendemmia sarà tanta, che occuperà la semente; e lo vostro pane mangerete in grande abbondanza, e senza niuna paura abiterete nelle vostre terre.	5 And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.
6 Io darò pace in tutto lo vostro paese; e dormirete securi; io ucciderò le male bestie, e ogni coltello torrò delle (vostre carni e delle) vostre con trade.	6 And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.
7 E li vostri nemici perseguiterete, e nel vostro cospetto verranno meno.	7 And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
8 E cinque de' vostri ne perseguiteranno cento de loro, e cento de' vostri ne perseguiteranno dieci mila; e nel vostro cospetto tutti morranno di coltello.	8 And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.
9 Io vi riguarderò, e farovvi crescere e moltiplicare; e con voi fermerò questo patto.	9 For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
10 Le cose vecchie mangerete insino a tanto che verranno le nuove, e poi le getterete via.	10 And ye shall eat old store, and bring forth the old because of the new.
11 Io sì ponerò lo mio tabernacolo nel mezzo di voi, e non v'avrò a schifo.	11 And I will set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.
12 Io anderò fra voi, e sarò vostro Iddio, insino a tanto che voi sarete mio popolo.	12 And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.
13 Io sono quello Iddio che vi trassi della terra d'Egitto, perchè non foste loro servi, (e io vi trassi della loro servitudine), e quello il quale ruppi le catene del collo vostro, acciò che voi andaste ritti.	13 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke, and made you go upright.
14 E se voi non mi udirete, e non farete tutti li miei comandamenti,	14 But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments;
15 e se le leggi mie avrete a schifo, e lo patto ch' io ho fatto con voi non atterrete,	15 And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant:
16 io vi farò questo; ch' io vi visiterò in caldo e in fuoco, che tutti acciechi gli occhi vostri e consumi l'anime vostre. Invano seminerete i vostri semi; però ch' io gli farò divorare alli vostri nemici.	16 I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning ague, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and ye shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
17 lo porrò la faccia mia contro a voi, e verrete meno contro a' vostri nemici, e farovvi soggetti a chi male vi vuole, e fuggirete senza s?guitarvi persona.	17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall flee when none pursueth you.
18 E se per questo anco non obbedirete, sette cotanto lo moltiplicherò più per li vostri peccati.	18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.
19 E farò venire meno la vostra superbia; io vi darò di sopra lo cielo come ferro, la terra di metallo.	19 And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass:
20 Sì che la vostra fatica sarà invano; la terra non farà il frutto suo, e gli arbori non daranno loro pomi.	20 And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits.
21 E se voi pure vorrete andare al contrario, e non vorrete fare i miei comandamenti, io vi crescerò assai più la piaga adosso per li vostri peccati (e maledizioni).	21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.
22 E io vi manderò bestie de campi, che vi divoreranno e tutte le vostre bestie; e recheroe a nulla tutta la vostra generazione, e le vostre vie farò deserte.	22 I will also send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, and destroy your cattle, and make you few in number; and your highways shall be desolate.
23 E se pure sarete ostinati a malfare, e non curerete della mia correzione,	23 And if ye will not be reformed by me by these things, but will walk contrary unto me;
24 vi crescerò queste piaghe sette cotanti più per li vostri peccati.	24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.
25 E io metterò infra voi il coltello della vendetta del patto mio (per lo peccato che voi faceste). E quando voi fuggirete alle città, io metterò infra voi grande pestilenza, e metterovvi nelle mani de' vostri nemici.	25 And I will bring a sword upon you, that shall avenge the quarrel of my covenant: and when ye are gathered together within your cities, I will send the pestilence among you; and ye shall be delivered into the hand of the enemy.
26 Poi ch' io avrò guasta (e distrutta) la vostra semente, io farò che uno forno basterà a dieci femine; tanto sarà poco lo pane; e non vi potrete torre la fame.	26 And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight: and ye shall eat, and not be satisfied.
27 E se per questo ancora non mi vorrete udire, e anderete pur contro me,	27 And if ye will not for all this hearken unto me, but walk contrary unto me;
28 io anderò contro a voi con furore contrario; e gastigherovvi con sette piaghe per li vostri peccati.	28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.
29 Si che voi mangerete la carne de vostri figliuoli, e le vostre figliuole.	29 And ye shall eat the flesh of your sons, and the flesh of your daughters shall ye eat.
30 lo guasterò le vostre magnificenze, e romperò li vostri idoli, e caderete nella rovina delli vostri idoli; e io vi abbominerò	30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.
31 in tanto che le vostre cittadi torneranno solitarie; e li vostri santuarii diserterò; e li vostri sacrificii non gli (esaudirò, e non gli) accetterò.	31 And I will make your cities waste, and bring your sanctuaries unto desolation, and I will not smell the savour of your sweet odours.
32 Io dispergerò la terra vostra, intanto che i vostri nemici, possedendola, se ne maraviglieranno.	32 And I will bring the land into desolation: and your enemies which dwell therein shall be astonished at it.
33 E voi farò dispersi fra le genti, e trarrò fuori il coltello; e le vostre terre saranno deserte, e le vostre cittadi guaste.	33 And I will scatter you among the heathen, and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.
34 Allora piaceranno le sue feste alla terra tutti i dì della sua solitudine; quando sarete stati in terra a voi inimica,	34 Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land; even then shall the land rest, and enjoy her sabbaths.
35 lei festizzerà e riposerassi nelle feste della sua solitudine; però che la non si riposò nelle vostre solennitadi, quando voi abitavate in essa.	35 As long as it lieth desolate it shall rest; because it did not rest in your sabbaths, when ye dwelt upon it.
36 E quelli che rimarranno di voi, porrò terrore nelli cuori loro nelle regioni delli inimici. Ispaventerà loro lo suono delle foglie volanti; e fuggiranlo come lo coltello; cadrete, e niuno vi per seguiterà.	36 And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall flee, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth.
37 E ciascheduno verrà meno sopra lo suo fratello, come se fosse in battaglia; niuno di voi avrà ardire di resistere alli nemici suoi.	37 And they shall fall one upon another, as it were before a sword, when none pursueth: and ye shall have no power to stand before your enemies.
38 Ma verrete meno infra le genti, e la terra [ nemica ] vi consumerà.	38 And ye shall perish among the heathen, and the land of your enemies shall eat you up.
39 E se alcuno (di queste tribulazioni) scamperà, metterollo nella terra de' suoi nemici; e de' peccati suoi (antichi) e delli suoi padri lo punirò,	39 And they that are left of you shall pine away in their iniquity in your enemies' lands; and also in the iniquities of their fathers shall they pine away with them.
40 insino a tanto ch' egli non conoscerà la sua malizia, e [li peccati] delli suoi padri, li quali hanno fatti contro di me, e sono andati contro a me.	40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;
41 E io anderò sempre contro a voi, e in durrovvi nella terra delli vostri nemici, insino a tanto che (si conosceranno, e) avranno vergogna del male il quale hanno fatto. Allora oreranno per li suoi peccati.	41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
42 E mi ricorderò del patto che feci insieme con Abraam, Isaac e Iacob. E ricorderommi la terra.	42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.
43 La quale essendo abbandonata da loro, starà lieta nelle sue feste, sostenendo desolazione per cagione di loro. Ma loro pregheranno per lo peccato loro, perciò che hanno abbandonato la legge mia.	43 The land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them: and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity: because, even because they despised my judgments, and because their soul abhorred my statutes.
44 Ed essendo nella terra inimica, non gli abbandonai; e non gli ebbi tanto in odio, ch' io gli lasciassi perire; e lo patto ch' io avea fatto con loro non lo ruppi. Io sono loro Iddio.	44 And yet for all that, when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
45 E raccordarommi del patto ch' io feci con loro, e come io gli trassi della terra d'Egitto nel cospetto d'ogni gente, acciò ch' io fossi il loro Iddio. Io son lo Signore Iddio. E questi sono i comandamenti e le leggi ch' io pattovii coi figliuoli d'Israel nel monte Sinai (e diedi loro) per Moisè mio servo fedele (E queste cose tutte promessero loro a Dio).	45 But I will for their sakes remember the covenant of their ancestors, whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt in the sight of the heathen, that I might be their God: I am the LORD.
	46 These are the statutes and judgments and laws, which the LORD made between him and the children of Israel in mount Sinai by the hand of Moses.
