2 Signore, hai benedetta la terra tua; rimuovesti la pregionia di Iacob.	2 My whole being yearns and pines for Yahweh's courts, My heart and my body cry out for joy to theliving God.
3 Hai perdonato la iniquità del tuo popolo; hai coperto tutti loro peccati.	3 Even the sparrow has found a home, the swal ow a nest to place its young: your altars, YahwehSabaoth, my King and my God.
4 Temperasti ogni tua ira; hai remosso l'ira del tuo isdegno.	4 How blessed are those who live in your house; they shall praise you continual y. Pause
5 Convertine, Iddio nostro Salvatore; e da noi cessi la tua ira.	5 Blessed those who find their strength in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.

7 Convertito tu, Iddio, a noi presterai vita; e rallegrerassi il tuo popolo in te.	7 They make their way from height to height, God shows himself to them in Zion.
8 Mostraci, Signore, la tua misericordia; e donaci la tua salute.	8 Yahweh, God Sabaoth, hear my prayer, listen, God of Jacob.
9 Udirò quello che mi dirà il Signore Iddio; imperò che parlerà la pace nel suo popolo,	9 God, our shield, look, and see the face of your anointed.
10 e ne' suoi santi, e in quelli che si convertono al cuore.	10 Better one day in your courts than a thousand at my own devices, to stand on the threshold of God'shouse than to live in the tents of the wicked.
11 Nientedimeno la sua salute è appresso a coloro che il temono, acciò che la gloria abiti nella terra nostra.	11 For Yahweh God is a rampart and shield, he gives grace and glory; Yahweh refuses nothing good tothose whose life is blameless.
12 La misericordia e la verità si sono scontrate; la giustizia e la pace si hanno baciato.	12 Yahweh Sabaoth, blessed is he who trusts in you.
13 Nasciuta è la verità della terra; e la giustizia ha risguardato dal cielo.
14 E certo il Signore darà la benignità; e la terra nostra darà il frutto suo.
15 Inanzi a lui arderà la giustizia, e nella via ponerà gli andamenti suoi.
