Deuteronomio (تثنية) 6

SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 وهذه هي الوصايا والفرائض والاحكام التي امر الرب الهكم ان اعلمكم لتعملوها في الارض التي انتم عابرون اليها لتمتلكوها	1 'Such, then, are the commandments, the laws and the customs which Yahweh your God has instructedme to teach you, for you to observe in the country which you are on your way to possess.
2 لكي تتقي الرب الهك وتحفظ جميع فرائضه ووصاياه التي انا اوصيك بها انت وابنك وابن ابنك كل ايام حياتك ولكي تطول ايامك.	2 And hence, if, throughout your lives, you fear Yahweh your God and keep al his laws andcommandments, which I am laying down for you today, you wil live long, you and your child and your grandchild.
3 فاسمع يا اسرائيل واحترز لتعمل لكي يكون لك خير وتكثر جدا كما كلمك الرب اله آبائك في ارض تفيض لبنا وعسلا	3 Listen then, Israel, keep and observe what wil make you prosperous and numerous, as Yahweh, Godof your ancestors, has promised you, in giving you a country flowing with milk and honey.
4 اسمع يا اسرائيل. الرب الهنا رب واحد.	4 'Listen, Israel: Yahweh our God is the one, the only Yahweh.
5 فتحب الرب الهك من كل قلبك ومن كل نفسك ومن كل قوتك.	5 You must love Yahweh your God with al your heart, with al your soul, with al your strength.
6 ولتكن هذه الكلمات التي انا اوصيك بها اليوم على قلبك	6 Let the words I enjoin on you today stay in your heart.
7 وقصّها على اولادك وتكلم بها حين تجلس في بيتك وحين تمشي في الطريق وحين تنام وحين تقوم	7 You shal tel them to your children, and keep on tel ing them, when you are sitting at home, when youare out and about, when you are lying down and when you are standing up;
8 واربطها علامة على يدك ولتكن عصائب بين عينيك	8 you must fasten them on your hand as a sign and on your forehead as a headband;
9 واكتبها على قوائم ابواب بيتك وعلى ابوابك	9 you must write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
10 ومتى أتى بك الرب الهك الى الارض التي حلف لآبائك ابراهيم واسحق ويعقوب ان يعطيك. الى مدن عظيمة جيدة لم تبنها	10 'When Yahweh has brought you into the country which he swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaacand Jacob that he would give you, with great and prosperous cities you have not built,
11 وبيوت مملوءة كل خير لم تملأها وآبار محفورة لم تحفرها وكروم وزيتون لم تغرسها واكلت وشبعت	11 with houses full of good things you have not provided, with wel s you have not dug, with vineyards andolive trees you have not planted, and then, when you have eaten as much as you want,
12 فاحترز لئلا تنسى الرب الذي اخرجك من ارض مصر من بيت العبودية.	12 be careful you do not forget Yahweh who has brought you out of Egypt, out of the place of slave-labour.
13 الرب الهك تتقي واياه تعبد وباسمه تحلف.	13 Yahweh your God is the one you must fear, him alone you must serve, his is the name by which youmust swear.
14 لا تسيروا وراء آلهة اخرى من آلهة الامم التي حولكم.	14 'Do not fol ow other gods, gods of the peoples round you,
15 لان الرب الهكم اله غيور في وسطكم لئلا يحمى غضب الرب الهكم عليكم فيبيدكم عن وجه الارض.	15 for Yahweh your God among you is a jealous God; the wrath of Yahweh your God would blaze outagainst you, and he would wipe you off the face of the earth.
16 لا تجربوا الرب الهكم كما جربتموه في مسّة.	16 Do not put Yahweh your God to the test as you tested him at Massah.
17 احفظوا وصايا الرب الهكم وشهاداته وفرائضه التي اوصاكم بها.	17 Keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and his instructions and laws which he has laid downfor you,
18 واعمل الصالح والحسن في عيني الرب لكي يكون لك خير وتدخل وتمتلك الارض الجيدة التي حلف الرب لآبائك	18 and do what Yahweh regards as right and good, so that you may prosper and take possession of thefine country which Yahweh swore to give your ancestors,
19 ان ينفي جميع اعدائك من امامك. كما تكلم الرب	19 driving out your enemies before you; such was Yahweh's promise.
20 اذا سألك ابنك غدا قائلا. ما هي الشهادات والفرائض والاحكام التي اوصاكم بها الرب الهنا	20 'In times to come, when your child asks you, "What is the meaning of these instructions, laws andcustoms which Yahweh our God has laid down for you?"
21 تقول لابنك. كنا عبيدا لفرعون في مصر فاخرجنا الرب من مصر بيد شديدة.	21 you are to tel your child, "Once we were Pharaoh's slaves in Egypt, and Yahweh brought us out ofEgypt by his mighty hand.
22 وصنع الرب آيات وعجائب عظيمة ورديئة بمصر بفرعون وجميع بيته امام اعيننا	22 Before our eyes, Yahweh worked great and terrible signs and wonders against Egypt, againstPharaoh and his entire household.
23 واخرجنا من هناك لكي ياتي بنا ويعطينا الارض التي حلف لآبائنا.	23 And he brought us out of there, to lead us into the country which he had sworn to our ancestors thathe would give us.
24 فامرنا الرب ان نعمل جميع هذه الفرائض ونتقي الرب الهنا ليكون لنا خير كل الايام ويستبقينا كما في هذا اليوم.	24 And Yahweh has commanded us to observe all these laws and to fear Yahweh our God, so as to behappy for ever and to survive, as we do to this day.
25 وانه يكون لنا بر اذا حفظنا جميع هذه الوصايا لنعملها امام الرب الهنا كما اوصانا	25 For us, right living wil mean this: to keep and observe al these commandments in obedience toYahweh our God, as he has commanded us." '
