1 Canto delle ascensioni. Di Davide. Signore, non s'inorgoglisce il mio cuore, non sono boriosi i miei occhi, non mi muovo fra cose troppo grandi, superiori alle mie forze.	1 A song of ascents. Of David. LORD, my heart is not proud; nor are my eyes haughty. I do not busy myself with great matters, with things too sublime for me.
2 Anzi, tengo serena e tranquilla l'anima mia. Come un bimbo svezzato in braccio a sua madre, come un bimbo svezzato è l'anima mia.	2 Rather, I have stilled my soul, hushed it like a weaned child. Like a weaned child on its mother's lap, so is my soul within me.
3 Attendi, Israele, il Signore; ora e sempre!	3 Israel, hope in the LORD, now and forever.
