LA SACRA BIBBIA	NEW AMERICAN BIBLE
1 Beato l'uomo che non camminò nel consiglio degli empi e nella via dei peccatori non si fermò e nel consesso dei beffardi non s'assise;	1 Happy those who do not follow the counsel of the wicked, Nor go the way of sinners, nor sit in company with scoffers.
2 ma nella legge del Signore è la sua gioia e in essa medita giorno e notte.	2 Rather, the law of the LORD is their joy; God's law they study day and night.
3 Perciò sarà come un albero che su rivi d'acqua è piantato, che dà i suoi frutti ad ogni stagione, le cui foglie mai appassiscono: in ogni cosa che fa ha sempre successo.	3 They are like a tree planted near streams of water, that yields its fruit in season; Its leaves never wither; whatever they do prospers.
4 Non così gli empi: essi al contrario saranno come pula che il vento sospinge.	4 But not the wicked! They are like chaff driven by the wind.
5 Per questo non entreranno gli empi nel giudizio, né i peccatori nell'assemblea dei giusti,	5 Therefore the wicked will not survive judgment, nor will sinners in the assembly of the just.
6 Il Signore conosce la via dei giusti. mentre la via degli empi andrà in rovina.	6 The LORD watches over the way of the just, but the way of the wicked leads to ruin.
