LA SACRA BIBBIA	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Con porpora viola, porpora rossa e scarlatto fecero le vesti d'ufficio per il servizio del santuario: fecero le vesti sacre per Aronne, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.	1 And he made, of violet and purple, scarlet and fine linen, the vestments for Aaron to wear when he ministered in the holy places, as the Lord commanded Moses.
2 Fecero l'efod d'oro, di porpora viola, porpora rossa, scarlatto e bisso ritorto.	2 So he made an ephod of gold, violet, and purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen.
3 Batterono placche d'oro, le tagliarono in strisce per intrecciarle con la porpora viola, la porpora rossa, lo scarlatto e il bisso ritorto, con opera di disegnatore.	3 With embroidered work: and he cut thin plates of gold, and drew them small into threads, that they might be twisted with the woof of the aforesaid colours,

5 La cintura che era sopra al suo efod era dello stesso suo lavoro: oro, porpora viola, porpora rossa, scarlatto e bisso ritorto, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.	5 And a girdle of the same colours, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
6 Lavorarono le pietre d'onice, inserite in castoni d'oro, incastonati d'oro, incise con i nomi dei figli d'Israele, secondo l'arte di incidere i sigilli.	6 He prepared also two onyx stones, fast set and closed in gold, and graven by the art of a lapidary, with the names of the children of Israel:
7 Le posero sulle spalline dell'efod, pietre in memoriale per i figli d'Israele, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.	7 And he set them in the sides of the ephod for a memorial of the children of Israel, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
8 Fecero il pettorale in lavoro artistico, come il lavoro dell'efod: oro, porpora viola, porpora rossa, scarlatto e bisso ritorto.	8 He made also a rational with embroidered work, according to the work of the ephod, of gold, violet, purple, and scarlet twice dyed, and fine twisted linen,
9 Era quadrato e lo fecero doppio, lungo una spanna e largo una spanna.	9 Foursquare, double, of the measure of a span.
10 Lo coprirono con quattro file di pietre. Prima fila: cornalina, topazio, smeraldo.	10 And he set four rows of precious stones in it. In the first row was a sardius, a topaz, and emerald.

14 Le pietre si riferivano ai nomi dei figli d'Israele: erano dodici, secondo i loro nomi incisi come i sigilli, ognuna con il nome corrispondente, secondo le dodici tribù.	14 And the twelve stones were engraved with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel, each one with its several name.
15 Fecero sul pettorale catene per legare, opera d'intreccio d'oro puro.	15 They made also in the rational little chains linked one to another of the purest gold,
16 Fecero due castoni d'oro e due anelli d'oro e misero i due anelli alle due estremità del pettorale.	16 And two hooks, and as many rings of gold. And they set the rings on either side of the rational,
17 Misero le due catene d'oro sui due anelli, alle estremità del pettorale.	17 On which rings the two golden chains should hang, which they put into the hooks that stood out in the corners of the ephod.
18 Misero le due estremità delle due catene sui due castoni e le posero sulle spalline dell'efod, nella parte anteriore.	18 These both before and behind so answered one another, that the ephod and the rational were bound together,
19 Fecero due anelli d'oro e li posero alle due estremità del pettorale, sul suo orlo che è sull'altra parte dell'efod, all'interno.	19 Being fastened to the girdle and strongly coupled with rings, which a violet fillet joined, lest they should flag loose, and be moved one from the other, as the Lord commanded Moses.
20 Fecero due anelli d'oro e li posero sulle due spalline dell'efod, in basso, sul suo lato anteriore, vicino al suo attacco, al di sopra della cintura dell'efod.	20 They made also the tunick of the ephod all of violet,

23 L'apertura del mantello, nel suo mezzo, era come l'apertura di una corazza; intorno all'apertura c'era un orlo, perché non si lacerasse.	23 And little bells of the purest gold, which they put between the pomegranates at the bottom of the tunick round about:
24 Fecero sui lembi del mantello melagrane in porpora viola, porpora rossa, scarlatto e bisso ritorto.	24 To wit, a bell of gold, and a pomegranate, wherewith the high priest went adorned, when he discharged his ministry, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
25 Fecero campanelli d'oro puro e misero i campanelli in mezzo alle melagrane, intorno ai lembi del mantello:	25 They made also fine linen tunicks with woven work for Aaron and his sons:
26 un campanello e una melagrana, un campanello e una melagrana intorno ai lembi del mantello, per il servizio, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.	26 And mitres with their little crowns of fine linen:
27 Fecero le tuniche di bisso, opera di tessitore, per Aronne e i suoi figli;	27 And linen breeches of fine linen:
28 il turbante di bisso, gli ornamenti dei copricapo di bisso, i calzoni di lino di bisso ritorto,	28 And a girdle of fine twisted linen, violet, purple, and scarlet twice dyed, of embroidery work, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
29 la cintura di bisso ritorto, di porpora viola, porpora rossa e scarlatto, con opera di ricamatore, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.	29 They made also the plate of sacred veneration of the purest gold, and they wrote on it with the engraving of a lapidary, The Holy of the Lord:
30 Fecero una lamina, diadema di santità, in oro puro e vi scrissero sopra come su di un sigillo: "Consacrato al Signore".	30 And they fastened it to the mitre with a violet fillet, as the Lord had commanded Moses.
31 Vi fissarono una striscia di porpora per metterlo sopra il turbante, come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè.	31 So all the work of the tabernacle and of the roof of the testimony was finished: and the children of Israel did all things which the Lord had commanded Moses.
32 Così fu terminato tutto il lavoro della dimora e della tenda del convegno. I figli d'Israele fecero secondo tutto quello che il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè. Fecero proprio così.	32 And they offered the tabernacle and the roof and the whole furniture, the rings, the boards, the bars, the pillars, and their sockets,
33 Portarono a Mosè la dimora, la tenda e tutti i suoi oggetti: le sue fibbie, le sue assi, le sue traverse, le sue colonne, le sue basi;	33 The cover of rams' skins dyed red, and the other cover of violet skins,
34 la copertura di pelli di montone tinte di rosso, la copertura di pelli conciate, il velo della cortina;	34 The veil, the ark, the bars, the propitiatory,
35 l'arca della testimonianza, le sue stanghe, il propiziatorio;	35 The table, with the vessels thereof, and the loaves of proposition:
36 la tavola e tutti i suoi oggetti, il pane della presentazione;	36 The candlestick, the lamps, and the furniture of them with the oil:
37 il candelabro puro, le sue lampade, lampade in ordine, e tutti i suoi oggetti, con l'olio dell'illuminazione;	37 The altar of gold, and the ointment, and the incense of spices:
38 l'altare d'oro, l'olio d'unzione, l'incenso profumato, la cortina d'ingresso della tenda;	38 And the hanging in the entry of the tabernacle:
39 l'altare di bronzo, con la sua graticola di bronzo, le sue stanghe e tutti i suoi oggetti; la vasca e il suo supporto;	39 The altar of brass, the grate, the bars, and all the vessels thereof: the laver with the foot thereof: the hangings of the court, and the pillars with their sockets:
40 i tendaggi del recinto, le sue colonne, le sue basi, la cortina per la porta del recinto, i suoi cordoni, i suoi picchetti e tutti gli oggetti del servizio della dimora, per la tenda della riunione;	40 The hanging in the entry of the court, and the little cords, and the pins thereof. Nothing was wanting of the vessels, that were commanded to be made for the ministry of the tabernacle, and for the roof of the covenant.
41 le vesti d'ufficio per servire nel santuario, le vesti sacre per il sacerdote Aronne e le vesti dei suoi figli per il sacerdozio.	41 The vestments also, which the priests, to wit, Aaron and his sons, used in the sanctuary,
42 Secondo tutto quello che il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè, così i figli d'Israele eseguirono ogni lavoro.	42 The children of Israel offered as the Lord had commanded.
43 Mosè vide tutta l'opera e riscontrò che era fatta come aveva ordinato il Signore. E Mosè li benedisse.	43 And when Moses saw all things finished, he blessed them.
