Micah 1

1 The word of the Lord that came to Micah the Moreshethite, in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw about Samaria and Jerusalem.	1 Questo è lo detto del nostro Signore Iddio lo quale egli disse a Michea di Morasti, nel tempo di Ioatan e di Ezechia e di Acaz, re di Giuda; lo quale detto egli vidde sopra Samaria e sopra Ierusalem.
2 All peoples, listen. And may the earth and its fullness pay attention. And may the Lord God be a witness to you, the Lord from his holy temple.	2 O popoli tutti, audite; e tutta la gente e tutta la sua plenitudine, ascolti (e ponga mente); e lo Signore Iddio ponga a voi in testimonio, e sia lo Signore del suo santo tempio.
3 For behold, the Lord will go forth from his place. And he will descend, and he will trample over the high places of the earth.	3 Però che ecco, lo Signore uscirà del suo (santo) luogo, e iscenderà, e calcherà sopra l'altezza della terra.
4 And the mountains will be consumed under him, and the valleys will be torn apart, like wax before the face of fire, and like waters that rush swiftly downward.	4 E li monti saranno consumati sotto lui, e le valli saranno fesse (da lui) sì come la cera dalla faccia del fuoco, e sì come l' acque che istrabocchevolmente vengono.
5 All this is for the wickedness of Jacob and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the wickedness of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what is the loftiness of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem?	5 E tutto questo sarà nella fellonia di Iacob, e nelli peccati della casa d' Israel; quale è la fellonia di Iacob? or non è Samaria? e quali sono l'altezze di Giuda? or non è Ierusalem?
6 And I will place Samaria like a pile of stones in the field, when a vineyard is planted. And I will pull down its stones into the valley, and I will reveal her foundations.	6 E porrò Samaria sì come uno monte di pietre nel campo quando si pianta la vigna; e tirerò nella valle le sue pietre, e li suoi fondamenti (farò manifesti, cioè che li) scoprirò.
7 And all her graven images will be cut to pieces, and all her rewards will be burned with fire, and I will place all her idols in perdition. For they have been gathered together from the pay of a kept woman, and even to the pay of a kept woman, they will return.	7 E tutti i suoi intagli (delle idolatrie) saranno spezzati, e tutti li suoi prezzi saranno arsi al fuoco, e tutti i suoi idoli porrò in perdizione; però che sono radunati del prezzo delle meretrici, e ritorneranno insino alla mercede della meretrice.
8 I will lament and wail about this. I will go out despoiled and naked. I will make a howl like the dragons, and a mourning like the ostriches.	8 E sopra questo piangerò e urlerò, e anderò (sopra loro) spogliato e ignudo; e farò lo pianto a modo di dragoni, e lamento come li struzzi.
9 For her wound has been in despair. For it has come even to Judah. It has touched the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.	9 Però che la sua piaga è disperata, però che venne insino a Giuda; e toccò la porta del popolo mio insino a Ierusalem.
10 Do not be willing to announce it in Gath; may you not lament with tears. In the house of Dust, besprinkle yourselves with dust.	10 Non annunziate con lacrime insino in Get, e non piangete; nella casa della polvere spargetevi la polvere addosso.
11 And cross over to your dwelling place, Beauty, bewildered by disgrace. She did not depart, who dwells at the place of departure. The House nearby, which remained firm by herself, will receive mourning from you.	11 E passa da voi l'abitazione bella, confusa vergogna; non è uscita quella che abita nello esito; del pianto della casa vicina torrà da voi quello che fece a sè medesimo.
12 For she has been weakened in goodness, who dwells in bitterness. For disaster has descended from the Lord to the gate of Jerusalem.	12 Però che infermò nel bene colei che abita in amaro; però che il male scese [dal Signore] nella porta di Ierusalem.
13 A tumult of four-horse chariots has stupefied the inhabitants of Lachish. The beginning has been sin for the daughter of Zion, because in you have been found the evil deeds of Israel.	13 E lo tumulto dello stupore della carretta [a colui] che abita in Lachis; lo principio del peccato fu le figliuole di Sion, però che in te sono trovate le fellonie d' Israel.
14 Because of this, she will send emissaries to the inheritance of Gath: the house of Lying in order to deceive the kings of Israel.	14 E però darà li corridori sopra la ereditade di Get; e le case della bugia per inganno alli re d' Israel.
15 Nevertheless, I will lead an heir to you, who dwell in Mareshah: the glory of Israel will reach all the way to Adullam.	15 Ancora io adducerò erede a te che abiti in Maresa; e verrà insino a Odollam la gloria d' Israel.
16 Become bald and shaved for your delicate sons. Increase your baldness like the eagle. For they have been carried into captivity from you.	16 E farò radere e tondere sopra i figliuoli dei tuoi diletti; (e Maresa e Odollam sono due contrade, ovvero due terre); dilarga (e fa grande) il tuo capo calvo come l'aquila, però che li tuoi sono menati in prigione.
