Isaiah 62

1 For the sake of Zion, I will not be silent, and for the sake of Jerusalem, I will not rest, until her Just One advances in splendor, and her Savior is kindled like a lamp.	1 Io non tacerò per Sion, e non poserò per Ierusalem, insino a tanto ch' esca fuori, sì come uno (bello) splendore, lo suo Giusto, e che lo suo Salvatore sia acceso come una lampada.
2 And the Gentiles will see your Just One, and all the kings will see your Renown One. And you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord will choose.	2 E le genti vederanno lo tuo giusto (Signore), e tutti li re lo tuo nobile; e tu sarai chiamato per nome nuovo, lo quale nominò la bocca del Signore.
3 And you shall be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.	3 E sarai corona di gloria nella mano del tuo Iddio.
4 You will no longer called Forsaken. And your land will no longer be called Desolate. Instead, you shall be called My Will within it, and your land shall be called Inhabited. For the Lord has been well pleased with you, and your land will be inhabited.	4 E non sarai chiamata più Abbandonata, e la tua terra non si chiamerà più Desolata; ma tu sarai chiamata Volontà mia in essa, e la tua terra (sarà) Inabitata, però che piacque a Dio in te
5 For the young man will live with the virgin, and your children will live with you. And the groom will rejoice over the bride, and your God will rejoice over you.	5 E lo giovine abiterà con la vergine, e li tuoi figliuoli abiteranno in te; e lo sposo avrà allegrezza sopra la sposa, e lo tuo Signore Iddio si rallegrerà sopra te.
6 Upon your walls, O Jerusalem, I have stationed watchmen all day and all night unceasingly; they will not be silent. You who are mindful of the Lord, you should not be silent,	6 Io hoe ordinate le guardie sopra li tuoi muri, Ierusalem; e non taceranno nè di dì nè di notte in perpetuo. Voi che vi ricordate del Signore, non vogliate tacere;
7 and you should not grant silence to him, until he makes firm and establishes Jerusalem as a praise upon the earth.	7 e non date silenzio a lui, mentre ch' elli non ferma, e insino a tanto che ponga Ierusalem laude in terra.
8 The Lord has sworn with his right hand and with the arm of his strength: “Certainly, I will no longer permit your grain to be the food of your enemies. And the sons of foreigners will not drink your wine, for which you have labored.”	8 Lo Signore per la sua mano diritta giurò, e per lo braccio della sua fortezza, (e disse): s' io darò lo grano tuo più per cibo a' tuoi nemici, e se li figliuoli strani beranno lo tuo vino, in che t'affaticasti.
9 For those who gather it will eat it, and they will praise the Lord. And those who bring it together will drink it in my holy courts.	9 Però che quelli che raduneranno loderanno Iddio; e quelli che lo porteranno, sì beranno ne' santi luoghi miei.
10 Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare a way for the people! Make the road level, remove the stones, and lift up a sign for the people!	10 Passate per le porte, e apparecchiate la via al populo, e fate la via piana (e lo cammino), e levatene le pietre, e alzate l'insegna a' populi.
11 Behold, the Lord has caused it to be heard to the ends of the earth. Tell the daughter of Zion: “Behold, your Saviour approaches! Behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.”	11 Ecco che Iddio l'hae fatto udire nelle estremità della terra: dite, o figliuole di Sion: ecco, lo tuo Salvatore viene, e la sua opera sarà dinanzi a lui; ecco, la sua mercede viene con lui.
12 And they will call them: The holy people, the redeemed of the Lord. Then you will be called: A city sought, and not forsaken.	12 E chiameranno loro, lo populo santo, quelli che saranno ricomperati da Dio. E tu sarai chiamata città Addomandata, e non Abbandonata.
