And you will say in that day: “I will confess to you, O Lord, because you have been angry with me; but your fury has been turned away, and you have consoled me.1 On that day, you will say: I give you thanks, O LORD; though you have been angry with me, your anger has abated, and you have consoled me.
Behold, God is my savior, I will act faithfully, and I will not be afraid. For the Lord is my strength and my praise, and he has become my salvation.”2 God indeed is my savior; I am confident and unafraid. My strength and my courage is the LORD, and he has been my savior.
You will draw water with gladness from the fountains of the Savior.3 With joy you will draw water at the fountain of salvation,
And you will say in that day: “Confess the Lord, and invoke his name! Make his plans known among the peoples! Remember that his name is exalted!4 and say on that day: Give thanks to the LORD, acclaim his name; among the nations make known his deeds, proclaim how exalted is his name.
Sing to the Lord, for he has acted magnificently! Announce it to the whole world!5 Sing praise to the LORD for his glorious achievement; let this be known throughout all the earth.
Exult and give praise, O habitation of Zion! For the Great One, the Holy One of Israel, is in your midst!”6 Shout with exultation, O city of Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel!
