1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David. A Canticle of Jeremiah and Ezekiel to the people of the captivity, when they began to go into exile.	1 - Al corifeo. Salmo di David. Cantico di Geremia ed Ezechiele per il popolo esultante, quando principiavano a partire.
2 O God, a hymn adorns you in Zion, and a vow will be repaid to you in Jerusalem.	2 A te si convien l'inno o Dio, in Sion, a te si renderà il voto in Gerusalemme.
3 Hear my prayer: all flesh will come to you.	3 Ascolta la mia preghiera: a te ricorre ogni mortale.
4 Words of iniquity have prevailed over us. And you will pardon our impieties.	4 Le parole degli empi han prevalso su noi; ma alle nostre empietà tu perdonerai propizio.
5 Blessed is he whom you have chosen and taken up. He will dwell in your courts. We will be filled with the good things of your house. Holy is your temple:	5 Beato colui che tu eleggi e avvicini [a te], [perchè] dimori ne' tuoi atrii. Ci sazieremo de' beni della tua casa: santo è il tuo tempio,
6 wonderful in equity. Hear us, O God our Savior, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of a sea far away.	6 mirabile nella giustizia. Esaudiscici, o Dio salvatore nostro, speranza d'ogni estremo angolo della terra, e [di quei che son] nel mare, lontano:
7 You prepare the mountains in your virtue, wrapped with power.	7 tu, che stabilisci i monti con la tua forza, cinto di potenza,
8 You stir up the depths of the sea, the noise of its waves. The nations will be troubled,	8 tu che sconvolgi il profondo del mare, il fragor de' suoi flutti. S'agitan le genti,
9 and those who dwell at the limits will be afraid, before your signs. You will make the passing of morning and evening enjoyable.	9 e temono gli abitanti degli [estremi] confini a cagion de' tuoi portenti. Le porte del mattino e della seratu riempi di giubilo.
10 You have visited the earth, and you have saturated it. You have enriched it in so many ways. The river of God has been filled with water. You have prepared their food. For thus is its preparation.	10 Tu visiti la terra e l'abbeveri, copiosamente l'arricchisci. Il fiume di Dio é colmo di acque, con esso tu prepari il [frumento], cibo degli uomini: tale è invero la sua preparazione.
11 Drench its streams, multiply its fruits; it will spring up and rejoice in its showers.	11 Irriga i suoi solchi, moltiplica i suoi germogli: delle sue piogge si allieterà germinando.
12 You will bless the crown of the year with your kindness, and your fields will be filled with abundance.	12 Benedici il coronamento dell'anno [oggetto] della tua bontà, e i tuoi campi si riempiranno d'ubertà.
13 The beauty of the desert will fatten, and the hills will be wrapped with exultation.	13 S'impingueranno i bei [prati] del deserto, e di giubilo le colline si cingeranno.
14 The rams of the sheep have been clothed, and the valleys will abound with grain. They will cry out; yes, they will even utter a hymn.	14 Si riveston gli arieti de' greggi, e le valli abbonderan di frumento. Levan la voce e inneggiano!
