Exodus 35

1 Therefore, when all the multitude of the sons of Israel had gathered together, he said to them: “These are the things that the Lord has ordered to be done:	1 Moisés reunió a toda la comunidad de los israelitas y les dijo: El Señor ha mandado hacer lo siguiente:
2 For six days you shall do work; the seventh day, the Sabbath and the rest of the Lord, will be holy to you; whoever will have done any work in it shall be killed.	2 Durante seis días se trabajará, pero el séptimo día será para ustedes una cosa sagrada, un día de descanso solemne en honor del Señor. El que trabaje ese día será castigado con la muerte.
3 You shall not kindle a fire in any of your dwelling places throughout the day of the Sabbath.”	3 Tampoco encenderán fuego en sus casas el día sábado.
4 And Moses said to the entire crowd of the sons of Israel: “This is the word which the Lord has instructed, saying:	4 Luego Moisés dijo a toda la comunidad de los israelitas: El Señor ha ordenado lo siguiente:
5 Separate from among you the first-fruits to the Lord. Let all who are willing and have a ready soul offer these to the Lord: gold, and silver, and brass,	5 Reserven una parte de sus bienes para presentarlos como ofrenda al Señor. Todo el que se sienta impulsado a hacerlo, ofrecerá al Señor: oro, plata y bronce;
6 hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine linen, the hair of goats,	6 púrpura violeta y escarlata, carmesí, lino fino, pelo de cabra,
7 and the skins of rams, dyed red, and violet skins, setim wood,	7 cueros de carnero teñidos de rojo, pieles finas y madera de acacia;
8 and oil to prepare lights and to produce ointment, and most sweet incense,	8 aceite para las lámparas, especies aromáticas para el óleo de la unción y para el incienso perfumado,
9 onyx stones and gems, to adorn the ephod and the breastplate.	9 piedras de lapislázuli y piedras de engasta para el efod y el pectoral.
10 And whoever among you is wise, let him come and make what the Lord has commanded:	10 Que los artesanos competentes vengan a ejecutar todo lo que el Señor ha ordenado:
11 the tabernacle, certainly, and its roof, and also the covering, the rings, and the panels with the bars, the tent pegs and the bases,	11 la Morada, su carpa y su cobertura, sus ganchos, sus bastidores,, sus travesaños, sus columnas y sus bases;
12 the ark and its bars, the propitiatory, and the veil that is drawn before it,	12 el arca con sus andas, la tapa y el velo que los protege;
13 the table with its bars and vessels, and the bread of the presence,	13 la mesa con sus andas, todos sus utensilios y los panes de la ofrenda;
14 the lampstand to hold up the lights, its vessels and lamps, and the oil to the nourish the fire,	14 el candelabro con sus accesorios y sus lámparas, y el aceite para las lámparas;
15 the altar of incense and its bars, and the oil of unction, and the incense of aromatics, the tent at the door of the tabernacle,	15 el altar de los perfumes con sus andas, el óleo de la unción y el incienso perfumado; la cortina para la entrada de la Morada;
16 the altar of holocaust and its grate of brass, with the bars and vessels, the washtub and its base,	16 el altar de los holocaustos con su enrejado de bronce, sus andas y todos sus enseres; la fuente para las abluciones con su base;
17 the curtains of the atrium, with the columns and the bases, the hanging at the doors of the vestibule,	17 las cortinas del atrio con sus columnas y sus bases; el cortinado de la entrada del atrio;
18 the tent pegs of the tabernacle and the atrium, with their little cords,	18 las estacas de la Morada y las estacas del atrio con sus respectivas cuerdas;
19 the vestments, which are to be used in the ministry of the Sanctuary, the vestments of Aaron, the high priest, as well as those of his sons, in order to exercise the priesthood to me.”	19 las vestiduras litúrgicas para oficiar en el Santuario, o sea, las vestiduras sagradas para el sacerdote Aarón y las que usarán sus hijos para las funciones sacerdotales.
20 And all the multitude of the sons of Israel, departing from the sight of Moses,	20 Toda la comunidad de los israelitas se alejó de la presencia de Moisés.
21 offered the first-fruits to the Lord with a most ready and devout mind, to accomplish the work of the tabernacle of the testimony. Whatever was needed for worship and for the holy vestments,	21 Después vinieron los que se sintieron movidos por un impulso generoso, y trajeron al Señor una ofrenda para la construcción de la Carpa del Encuentro, para su servicio cultual y para sus vestiduras sagradas.
22 men along with women provided: arm bands and earrings, rings and bracelets. And every vessel of gold was separated, to be donated to the Lord.	22 Así acudieron generosamente hombres y mujeres, trayendo argollas, anillos, pulseras, collares y objetos de oro de toda clase; en una palabra, todos los que ofrecían al Señor un presente de oro.
23 If anyone had hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, fine linen and the hair of goats, the skins of rams, dyed red, and violet skins,	23 Lo mismo hicieron los que poseían púrpura violeta y escarlata, carmesí, lino fino, pelo de cabra, cueros de carnero teñidos de rojo y pieles finas.
24 metal of silver and brass, they offered it to the Lord, along with setim wood for various uses.	24 Los que podían aportar objetos de plata y bronce, los llevaban al Señor como ofrenda; y los que poseían madera de acacia utilizable para la ejecución del trabajo, también la traían.
25 But the skillful women also gave whatever they had spun: hyacinth, purple, and vermillion, as well as fine linen,	25 Todas las mujeres que tenían habilidad para ello, hilaron con sus manos y trajeron hilados de púrpura violeta y escarlata, de carmesí y de lino fino;
26 and the hair of goats, donating everything of their own accord.	26 y otras mujeres habilidosas se ofrecieron generosamente para hilar el pelo de cabra.
27 Yet truly, the leaders offered onyx stones and gems, for the ephod and the breastplate,	27 Los principales del pueblo contribuyeron con piedras de lapislázuli, con piedras de engaste para el efod y el pectoral,
28 and aromatics and oil, to maintain the lights, and to prepare ointment, and also to produce incense with a most sweet odor.	28 y con especies aromáticas y aceite para las lámparas, para el óleo de la unción y el incienso perfumado.
29 All the men and women offered donations with a devout mind, so that the works might be done which the Lord had ordered by the hand of Moses. All the sons of Israel dedicated voluntary offerings to the Lord.	29 De esta manera, llevados por un impulso generoso, hombres y mujeres presentaron su ofrenda voluntaria para la ejecución de todos los trabajos que el Señor había prescrito a los israelitas, par intermedio de Moisés.
30 And Moses said to the sons of Israel: “Behold, the Lord has called by name Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, from the tribe of Judah,	30 Entonces Moisés dijo a los israelitas: «El Señor ha designado especialmente a Besalel –hijo de Urí, hijo de Jur, de la tribu de Judá–
31 and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, and understanding, and knowledge, and all teaching,	31 y lo ha llenado del espíritu de Dios, a fin de conferirle habilidad, talento y experiencia en la ejecución de toda clase de trabajos,
32 to design and to fashion, with gold and silver and brass,	32 tanto para idear proyectos, como para trabajar el oro, la plata y el bronce,
33 and with engraving stones, and with the skill of a carpenter. Whatever can be skillfully invented,	33 labrar piedras de engaste, tallar la madera o ejecutar cualquier otra labor de artesanía.
34 he has given to his heart. It is likewise with Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach from the tribe of Dan.	34 Además le ha concedido –lo mismo que a Oholiab, hijo de Ajisamac, de la tribu de Dan– el arte de comunicar sus conocimientos.
35 He has taught both of them wisdom, in order to do the work of carpentry, tapestry, and embroidery, from hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine linen, and every textile, and to discover whatever may be new.”	35 El Señor los llenó de habilidad para realizar labores de orfebrería, de tejido, de bordado y recamado de telas de púrpura violeta y escarlata, de carmesí y de lino fino. Y no sólo son capaces de ejecutar todas estas tareas, sino que también tienen espíritu de inventiva».
