3 HE. Gloria et divitiae in domo eius, VAU. et iustitia eius manet in saeculum saeculi. | 3 Wealth and riches shall be in their homes; their prosperity shall endure forever. |
4 ZAIN. Exortum est in tenebris lumen rectis, HETH. misericors et miserator et iustus. | 4 They shine through the darkness, a light for the upright; they are gracious, merciful, and just. |
5 TETH. Iucundus homo, qui miseretur et commodat, IOD. disponet res suas in iudicio, | 5 All goes well for those gracious in lending, who conduct their affairs with justice. |

8 SAMECH. confirmatum est cor eius, non timebit, AIN. donec despiciat inimicos suos. | 8 Their hearts are tranquil, without fear, till at last they look down on their foes. |
9 PHE. Distribuit, dedit pauperibus; SADE. iustitia eius manet in saeculum saeculi, COPH. cornu eius exaltabitur in gloria. | 9 Lavishly they give to the poor; their prosperity shall endure forever; their horn shall be exalted in honor. |
10 RES. Peccator videbit et irascetur, SIN. dentibus suis fremet et tabescet. TAU. Desiderium peccatorum peribit. | 10 The wicked shall be angry to see this; they will gnash their teeth and waste away; the desires of the wicked come to nothing. |
