Revelation 3

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 'Write to the angel of the church in Sardis and say, "Here is the message of the one who holds theseven spirits of God and the seven stars: I know about your behaviour: how you are reputed to be alive and yetare dead.	1 Escribe al Angel de la Iglesia de Sardes: «El que posee los siete Espíritus de Dios y las siete estrellas, afirma: «Conozco tus obras: aparentemente vives, pero en realidad estás muerto.
2 Wake up; put some resolve into what little vigour you have left: it is dying fast. So far I have failed tonotice anything in your behaviour that my God could possibly cal perfect;	2 Permanece alerta y reanima lo que todavía puedes rescatar de la muerte, porque veo que tu conducta no es perfecta delante de mi Dios.
3 remember how you first heard the message. Hold on to that. Repent! If you do not wake up, I shalcome to you like a thief, and you wil have no idea at what hour I shal come upon you.	3 Recuerda cómo has recibido y escuchado la Palabra: consérvala fielmente y arrepiéntete. Porque si no vigilas, llegaré como un ladrón, y no sabrás a qué hora te sorprenderé.
4 There are a few in Sardis, it is true, who have kept their robes unstained, and they are fit to come withme, dressed in white.	4 Sin embargo, tienes todavía en Sardes algunas personas que no han manchado su ropa: ellas me acompañarán vestidas de blanco, porque lo han merecido.
5 Anyone who proves victorious wil be dressed, like these, in white robes; I shal not blot that name outof the book of life, but acknowledge it in the presence of my Father and his angels.	5 El vencedor recibirá una vestidura blanca, nunca borraré su nombre del Libro de la Vida y confesaré su nombre delante de mi Padre y de sus Angeles».
6 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches."	6 El que pueda entender, que entienda lo que el Espíritu dice a las Iglesias.
7 'Write to the angel of the church in Philadelphia and say, "Here is the message of the holy and true onewho has the key of David, so that when he opens, no one wil close, and when he closes, no one wil open:	7 Escribe al Angel de la Iglesia de Filadelfia: «El Santo, el que dice la Verdad, el que posee la llave de David, el que abre y nadie puede cerrar, el que cierra y nadie puede abrir, afirma:
8 I know about your activities. Look, I have opened in front of you a door that no one will be able to close-- and I know that though you are not very strong, you have kept my commandments and not disowned myname.	8 «Yo conozco tus obras; he abierto delante de ti una puerta que nadie puede cerrar, porque a pesar de tu debilidad, has cumplido mi Palabra sin renegar de mi Nombre.
9 Look, I am going to make the synagogue of Satan -- those who falsely claim to be Jews, but are liars,because they are no such thing -- I wil make them come and fal at your feet and recognize that I have lovedyou.	9 Obligaré a los de la sinagoga de Satanás –que mienten, porque se llaman judíos y no lo son– a que se postren delante de ti y reconozcan que yo te he amado.
10 Because you have kept my commandment to persevere, I wil keep you safe in the time of trial whichis coming for the whole world, to put the people of the world to the test.	10 Ya que has cumplido mi consigna de ser constante, yo también te preservaré en la hora de la tribulación, que ha de venir sobre el mundo entero para poner a prueba a todos los habitantes de la tierra.
11 I am coming soon: hold firmly to what you already have, and let no one take your victor's crown awayfrom you.	11 Yo volveré pronto: conserva firmemente lo que ya posees, para que nadie pueda arrebatarte la corona.
12 Anyone who proves victorious I wil make into a pillar in the sanctuary of my God, and it wil stay therefor ever; I wil inscribe on it the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem which is coming down from my God in heaven, and my own new name as wel .	12 Haré que el vencedor sea una columna en el Templo de mi Dios, y nunca más saldrá de allí. Y sobre él escribiré el nombre de mi Dios, y el nombre de la Ciudad de mi Dios –la nueva Jerusalén que desciende del cielo y viene de Dios– y también mi nombre nuevo».
13 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches."	13 El que pueda entender, que entienda lo que el Espíritu dice a las Iglesias».
14 'Write to the angel of the church in Laodicea and say, "Here is the message of the Amen, thetrustworthy, the true witness, the Principle of God's creation:	14 Escribe al Angel de la Iglesia de Laodicea: «El que es Amén, el Testigo fiel y verídico, el Principio de las obras de Dios, afirma:
15 I know about your activities: how you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were one or the other,	15 «Conozco tus obras: no eres frío ni caliente. ¡Ojalá fueras frío o caliente!
16 but since you are neither hot nor cold, but only lukewarm, I will spit you out of my mouth.	16 Por eso, porque eres tibio, te vomitaré de mi boca.
17 You say to yourself: I am rich, I have made a fortune and have everything I want, never realising thatyou are wretchedly and pitiably poor, and blind and naked too.	17 Tú andas diciendo: Soy rico, estoy lleno de bienes y no me falta nada. Y no sabes que eres desdichado, digno de compasión, pobre, ciego y desnudo.
18 I warn you, buy from me the gold that has been tested in the fire to make you truly rich, and whiterobes to clothe you and hide your shameful nakedness, and ointment to put on your eyes to enable you to see.	18 Por eso, te aconsejo: cómprame oro purificado en el fuego para enriquecerte, vestidos blancos para revestirte y cubrir tu vergonzosa desnudez, y un colirio para ungir tus ojos y recobrar la vista.
19 I reprove and train those whom I love: so repent in real earnest.	19 Yo corrijo y comprendo a los que amo. ¡Reanima tu fervor y arrepiéntete!
20 Look, I am standing at the door, knocking. If one of you hears me cal ing and opens the door, I wilcome in to share a meal at that person's side.	20 Yo estoy junto a la puerta y llamo: si alguien oye mi voz y me abre, entraré en su casa y cenaremos juntos.
21 Anyone who proves victorious I wil al ow to share my throne, just as I have myself overcome andhave taken my seat with my Father on his throne.	21 Al vencedor lo haré sentar conmigo en mi trono, así como yo he vencido y me he sentado con mi Padre en su trono».
22 Let anyone who can hear, listen to what the Spirit is saying to the churches." '	22 El que pueda entender, que entienda lo que el Espíritu dice a las Iglesias».
