Hebrews 2

1 We ought, then, to turn our minds more attentively than before to what we have been taught, so that wedo not drift away.	1 Per la qual cosa molto ci conviene porre mente a quelle cose le quali avemo udito, chè per la ventura non transcorriamo presto.
2 If a message that was spoken through angels proved to be so reliable that every infringement anddisobedience brought its own proper punishment,	2 Chè se la parola, che fatta è per li angeli, è ferma, e se ogni prevaricamento e ogni inobbedienza riceverà giusto guiderdone secondo la sua mercede;
3 then we shal certainly not go unpunished if we neglect such a great salvation. It was first announced bythe Lord himself, and is guaranteed to us by those who heard him;	3 come potremo fuggire, se noi non averemo cura di così grande salute? La qual ebbe cominciamento d' essere annunziata per il Signore a coloro che l'udirono (e intesero), e in noi fu confermata,
4 God himself confirmed their witness with signs and marvels and miracles of al kinds, and bydistributing the gifts of the Holy Spirit in the various ways he wil s.	4 testimoniandola Dio con miracoli e con li dimostramenti e con molte virtù e con donamenti di Spirito secondo la sua volontà.
5 It was not under angels that he put the world to come, about which we are speaking.	5 Veramente Dio non sottomise alli angeli il mondo che dee venire, del quale noi parliamo.
6 Someone witnesses to this somewhere with the words: What are human beings that you spare athought for them, a child of Adam that you care for him?	6 E uno sì testimonia in un luogo della (scrittura del salterio), e dice: (o Dio) chi è l' uomo, che tu ti ricordi di lui, ovver il figliuolo dell' uomo, che tu il visiti?
7 For a short while you have made him less than the angels; you have crowned him with glory andhonour,	7 Tu [il] facesti uno poco minore che gli angeli, e l' hai coronato di gloria e di onore, e ordinasti lui sopra l' opere delle tue mani.
8 put al things under his feet. For in putting al things under him he made no exceptions. At present, it istrue, we are not able to see that all things are under him,	8 E tutte le cose ponesti sotto alli suoi piedi. In quello che dice, che tutte le cose sottopose a lui, sì dimostra a noi, che niente lasciò che non gli sottomettesse; e noi vedemo che ancora non son tutte le cose sottoposte a lui.
9 but we do see Jesus, who was for a short while made less than the angels, now crowned with glory andhonour because he submitted to death; so that by God's grace his experience of death should benefit allhumanity.	9 Ma vedemo che quelli ch' è un poco minorato. degli angeli, Iesù (secondo l'umanità), ch' egli per la passione della sua morte sì è coronato di gloria e d'onore; imperò che per grazia di Dio per tutti volse assaggiare la morte.
10 It was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should, in bringing many sons toglory, make perfect through suffering the leader of their salvation.	10 Per tutti convenia essere consumato per passione di morte quelli, per il quale e dal quale tutte le cose furono fatte; il quale molti figliuoli hae menati in gloria, accrescitore della salute loro.
11 For consecrator and consecrated are al of the same stock; that is why he is not ashamed to call thembrothers	11 Veramente quelli che santifica, e quelli che son santi, tutti procedono da uno. Per la qual cosa non si vergogna di chiamare li suoi eletti, fratelli, dicendo:
12 in the text: I shal proclaim your name to my brothers, praise you in full assembly; or in the text:	12 Io annunziarò il tuo nome alli fratelli miei: e nel mezzo della Chiesa loro lodarò te.
13 I shal put my hope in him; fol owed by Look, I and the children whom God has given me.	13 E ancora dice: io sarò confidente in quello. E ancora dice: ecco li fanciulli, li quali mi diede Dio.
14 Since al the children share the same human nature, he too shared equal y in it, so that by his deathhe could set aside him who held the power of death, namely the devil,	14 Adunque, però che questi figliuoli s' accomunarono alla carne e al sangue, ed egli simigliantemente si fece partecipe con essi, acciò che per la morte distruggesse colui il quale avea signorìa della morte, cioè il diavolo,
15 and set free al those who had been held in slavery all their lives by the fear of death.	15 e per liberare coloro li quali, per paura della morte, per tutta la loro vita erano dati a servitù.
16 For it was not the angels that he took to himself; he took to himself the line of Abraham.	16 Per niuno tempo prese li angeli, ma prese il seme d'Abraam.
17 It was essential that he should in this way be made completely like his brothers so that he couldbecome a compassionate and trustworthy high priest for their relationship to God, able to expiate the sins of thepeople.	17 Onde per tutte le cose si doveva fare simigliante alli suoi fratelli, chè fosse misericordioso, e pontefice fedele inanzi a Dio, per perdonare le peccata.
18 For the suffering he himself passed through while being put to the test enables him to help otherswhen they are being put to the test.	18 Veramente in quello ch' egli fu passionato e tentato, in quello ora è potente d'aiutare a coloro che son tentati.
