1 Corinthians 3

1 And so, brothers, I was not able to talk to you as spiritual people; I had to talk to you as people stilliving by your natural inclinations, stil infants in Christ;	1 A ja nie mogłem, bracia, przemawiać do was jako do ludzi duchowych, lecz jako do cielesnych, jako do niemowląt w Chrystusie.
2 I fed you with milk and not solid food, for you were not yet able to take it -- and even now, you are stilnot able to,	2 Mleko wam dałem, a nie pokarm stały, boście byli niemocni; zresztą i nadal nie jesteście mocni.
3 for you are still living by your natural inclinations. As long as there are jealousy and rivalry among you,that surely means that you are stil living by your natural inclinations and by merely human principles.	3 Ciągle przecież jeszcze jesteście cieleśni. Jeżeli bowiem jest między wami zawiść i niezgoda, to czyż nie jesteście cieleśni i nie postępujecie tylko po ludzku?
4 While there is one that says, 'I belong to Paul' and another that says, 'I belong to Apol os' are you notbeing only too human?	4 Skoro jeden mówi: Ja jestem Pawła, a drugi: Ja jestem Apollosa, to czyż nie postępujecie tylko po ludzku?
5 For what is Apollos and what is Paul? The servants through whom you came to believe, and each hasonly what the Lord has given him.	5 Kimże jest Apollos? Albo kim jest Paweł? Sługami, przez których uwierzyliście według tego, co każdemu dał Pan.
6 I did the planting, Apol os did the watering, but God gave growth.	6 Ja siałem, Apollos podlewał, lecz Bóg dał wzrost.
7 In this, neither the planter nor the waterer counts for anything; only God, who gives growth.	7 Otóż nic nie znaczy ten, który sieje, ani ten, który podlewa, tylko Ten, który daje wzrost - Bóg.
8 It is al one who does the planting and who does the watering, and each will have the proper pay for thework that he has done.	8 Ten, który sieje, i ten, który podlewa, stanowią jedno; każdy według własnego trudu otrzyma należną mu zapłatę.
9 After all, we do share in God's work; you are God's farm, God's building.	9 My bowiem jesteśmy pomocnikami Boga, wy zaś jesteście uprawną rolą Bożą i Bożą budowlą.
10 By the grace of God which was given to me, I laid the foundations like a trained master-builder, andsomeone else is building on them. Now each one must be careful how he does the building.	10 Według danej mi łaski Bożej, jako roztropny budowniczy, położyłem fundament, ktoś inny zaś wznosi budynek. Niech każdy jednak baczy na to, jak buduje.
11 For nobody can lay down any other foundation than the one which is there already, namely JesusChrist.	11 Fundamentu bowiem nikt nie może położyć innego, jak ten, który jest położony, a którym jest Jezus Chrystus.
12 On this foundation, different people may build in gold, silver, jewels, wood, hay or straw	12 I tak jak ktoś na tym fundamencie buduje: ze złota, ze srebra, z drogich kamieni, z drzewa, z trawy lub ze słomy,
13 but each person's handiwork wil be shown for what it is. The Day which dawns in fire will make it clearand the fire itself wil test the quality of each person's work.	13 tak też jawne się stanie dzieło każdego: odsłoni je dzień /Pański/; okaże się bowiem w ogniu, który je wypróbuje, jakie jest.
14 The one whose work stands up to it wil be given his wages;	14 Ten, którego dzieło wzniesione na fundamencie przetrwa, otrzyma zapłatę;
15 the one whose work is burnt down wil suffer the loss of it, though he himself will be saved; he wil besaved as someone might expect to be saved from a fire.	15 ten zaś, którego dzieło spłonie, poniesie szkodę: sam wprawdzie ocaleje, lecz tak jakby przez ogień.
16 Do you not realise that you are a temple of God with the Spirit of God living in you?	16 Czyż nie wiecie, żeście świątynią Boga i że Duch Boży mieszka w was?
17 If anybody should destroy the temple of God, God will destroy that person, because God's temple isholy; and you are that temple.	17 Jeżeli ktoś zniszczy świątynię Boga, tego zniszczy Bóg. Świątynia Boga jest świętą, a wy nią jesteście.
18 There is no room for self-delusion. Any one of you who thinks he is wise by worldly standards mustlearn to be a fool in order to be real y wise.	18 Niechaj się nikt nie łudzi. Jeśli ktoś spośród was mniema, że jest mądry na tym świecie, niech się stanie głupim, by posiadł mądrość.
19 For the wisdom of the world is folly to God. As scripture says: He traps the crafty in the snare of theirown cunning	19 Mądrość bowiem tego świata jest głupstwem u Boga. Zresztą jest napisane: On udaremnia zamysły przebiegłych
20 and again: The Lord knows the plans of the wise and how insipid they are.	20 lub także: Wie Pan, że próżne są zamysły mędrców.
21 So there is to be no boasting about human beings: everything belongs to you,	21 Niech się przeto nie chełpi nikt z powodu ludzi. Wszystko bowiem jest wasze:
22 whether it is Paul, or Apol os, or Cephas, the world, life or death, the present or the future -- al belongto you;	22 czy to Paweł, czy Apollos, czy Kefas; czy to świat, czy życie, czy śmierć, czy to rzeczy teraźniejsze, czy przyszłe; wszystko jest wasze,
23 but you belong to Christ and Christ belongs to God.	23 wy zaś Chrystusa, a Chrystus - Boga.
