Zechariah 5

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA VOLGARE
1 Again raising my eyes, I had a vision. There was a flying scrol .	1 E ritornai a me, e alzai gli occhi, e vidi; ed ecco uno volume che volava.
2 The angel who was talking to me said, 'What do you see?' I replied, 'I see a flying scroll; it is twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.'	2 E disse a me: che vedi tu? E dissi : io vedo uno volume volante; e la sua lunghezza sì è di XX, e la sua larghezza sì è di X cubiti.
3 He then said to me, 'This is God's curse sweeping across the face of the whole country; for, accordingto what it says on one side, every thief wil be banished and, according to what it says on the other, everyonewho commits perjury in my name wil be banished from it.	3 E disse a me: questa è la maledizione, la quale esce fuori sopra l' universa terra; però che ogni ladrone, sì come ivi è scritto, sarà giudicato; e ogni giuratore somigliantemente sarà giudicato.
4 I am going to release it -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- for it to enter the house of the thief and ofanyone who commits perjury in my name, for it to settle deep within his house and consume it, timber, stone andal .'	4 E menerò quello, dice lo Signore delli esèrciti; e verrà alla casa [del ladrone, alla casa] di colui il quale giura nel mio nome mentendo; e starà nel mezzo della sua casa, e (non) consumerà quella, e le legne sue, e le sue pietre.
5 The angel who was talking to me appeared and said to me, 'Raise your eyes, and see what this is,going along.'	5 E uscie fuori l'angelo che parlava a me, e disse alza li tuoi occhi, e ragguarda quello che esce fuori.
6 I said, 'What is it?' He said, 'It is a bushel measure going along.' He went on, 'This is their guiltthroughout the country.'	6 E io dissi: che è quello? Ed egli disse questa è l'anfora (di vino) ch' esce fuori. E anche mi disse: questo è lo loro occhio nella universa terra.
7 At this, a disc of lead was raised, and I saw a woman sitting inside the barrel.	7 Ed ecco, uno talento di piombo era portato; (il talento sì era una loro moneta, sì come noi diciamo uno grosso); e una femina sedea nel mezzo della anfora.
8 He said, 'This is Wickedness.' And he rammed her back into the barrel and jammed its mouth shut withthe mass of lead.	8 E disse questa è una empietà. E gittolla nel mezzo di una anfora, e mise una massa (cioè uno pezzo) di piombo nella sua bocca.
9 I raised my eyes, and there were two women appearing. The wind caught their wings -- they had wingslike a stork's; they raised the barrel midway between earth and heaven.	9 E poi alzai li miei occhi, e vidi; ed ecco, due femine uscivano fuori, e lo spirito era nelle loro ale, e aveano ale quasi come ale di nibbio; e alzarono l'anfora (alta) tra lo cielo e la terra.
10 I then said to the angel who was talking to me, 'Where are they taking the barrel?'	10 E io dissi all' angelo che mi parlava: dove portano costoro l'anfora?
11 He replied, 'To build a temple for it in the land of Shinar and make a pedestal on which to put it.'	11 Ed egli disse a me: loro la portano, acciò che sia edificata una casa nella terra di Senaar, e sia fermata, e sia posta ivi sopra la sua base.
