Hosea 5

1 Hear this, you priests, listen, House of Israel, pay attention, royal House, for it is you who have justice inyour care, but you have been a snare at Mizpah and a net outspread on Tabor.	1 Слушайте это, священники, и внимайте, дом Израилев, и приклоните ухо, дом царя; ибо вам будет суд, потому что вы были западнею в Массифе и сетью, раскинутою на Фаворе.
2 They have dug the ditch deep at Shittim and so I am going to punish them al .	2 Глубоко погрязли они в распутстве; но Я накажу всех их.
3 Ephraim have I known, Israel is not hidden from me; and yet, Ephraim, you have played the whore,Israel is befouled.	3 Ефрема Я знаю, и Израиль не сокрыт от Меня; ибо ты блудодействуешь, Ефрем, и Израиль осквернился.
4 Their deeds do not al ow them to return to their God, since an urge to play the whore possesses themand they no longer know Yahweh.	4 Дела их не допускают их обратиться к Богу своему, ибо дух блуда внутри них, и Господа они не познали.
5 Israel's arrogance is his accuser, the guilt of Israel and Ephraim is their undoing, Judah too wil beundone with them.	5 И гордость Израиля унижена в глазах их; и Израиль и Ефрем падут от нечестия своего; падет и Иуда с ними.
6 Though they go in search of Yahweh with their sheep and cattle, they wil not find him; he haswithdrawn from them.	6 С овцами своими и волами своими пойдут искать Господа и не найдут Его: Он удалился от них.
7 They have betrayed Yahweh because they have fathered bastards; now the new moon wil devourthem and their fields.	7 Господу они изменили, потому что родили чужих детей; ныне новый месяц поест их с их имуществом.
8 Sound the horn in Gibeah, the trumpet in Ramah, raise the war cry in Beth-Aven, 'We are behind you,Benjamin!'	8 Вострубите рогом в Гиве, трубою в Раме; возглашайте в Беф-- Авене: 'за тобою, Вениамин!'
9 When the day of punishment comes, Ephraim wil be a wasteland; on the tribes of Israel I havepronounced certain doom.	9 Ефрем сделается пустынею в день наказания; между коленами Израилевыми Я возвестил это.
10 The rulers of Judah act like men who move the boundary stone; I shall pour my wrath out on them likea flood.	10 Вожди Иудины стали подобны передвигающим межи: изолью на них гнев Мой, как воду.
11 Ephraim is oppressed, crushed by the sentence, for having deliberately fol owed a Lie.	11 Угнетен Ефрем, поражен судом; ибо захотел ходить вслед суетных.
12 Because of this, I shall be like ringworm for Ephraim and like gangrene for the House of Judah.	12 И буду как моль для Ефрема и как червь для дома Иудина.
13 Once Ephraim realised that he was sick and Judah that he had an ulcer, Ephraim then went toAssyria, he sent messengers to the Great King; but he has no power to cure you or to heal you of your sore;	13 И увидел Ефрем болезнь свою, и Иуда--свою рану, и пошел Ефрем к Ассуру, и послал к царю Иареву; но он не может исцелить вас, и не излечит вас от раны.
14 for I shal be like a lion to Ephraim, like a young lion to the House of Judah; I myself shal rend them,then go my way, shal carry them off, beyond hope of rescue.	14 Ибо Я как лев для Ефрема и как скимен для дома Иудина; Я, Я растерзаю, и уйду; унесу, и никто не спасет.
15 I shal go back to my place until they confess their guilt and seek me, seek me eagerly in their distress.	15 Пойду, возвращусь в Мое место, доколе они не признают себя виновными и не взыщут лица Моего.
