Ezekiel 2

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 He said, 'Son of man, get to your feet; I wil speak to you.'	1 E disse: "Figlio dell'uomo, àlzati in piedi, perché ti voglio parlare".
2 As he said these words the spirit came into me and put me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me.	2 Mentr'egli parlava venne in me uno spirito che mi fece alzare in piedi e ascoltai colui che mi parlava.
3 He said, 'Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to the rebels who have rebel ed against me.They and their ancestors have been in revolt against me up to the present day.	3 Egli mi disse: "Figlio dell'uomo, io ti mando alla casa d'Israele, a una gente ribelle che si è ribellata a me; essi e i loro padri si sono rivoltati contro di me fino a questo momento.
4 Because they are stubborn and obstinate children, I am sending you to them, to say, "Lord Yahwehsays this."	4 Sono figli dalla faccia insolente e dal cuore duro quelli da cui ti mando e dirai loro: "Così dice Dio, mio Signore".
5 Whether they listen or not, this tribe of rebels will know there is a prophet among them.	5 Magari ascoltassero e la smettessero! Ma sono una casa ribelle. Però dovranno riconoscere che un profeta sta in mezzo a loro.
6 And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or of what they say, though you find yourself surroundedwith brambles and sitting on scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words or alarmed by their looks, for they are atribe of rebels.	6 E tu, figlio dell'uomo, non aver paura di loro, non aver paura delle loro parole. Sì, ti sono ostili, sono come spine, siedi su scorpioni; ma non aver paura delle loro parole e non abbatterti di fronte a loro, perché sono una casa ribelle.
7 You are to deliver my words to them whether they listen or not, for they are a tribe of rebels.	7 Riferirai ad essi le mie parole. Magari ascoltassero e la smettessero! Ma sono una casa ribelle.
8 But you, son of man, are to listen to what I say to you; do not be a rebel like that rebellious tribe. Openyour mouth and eat what I am about to give you.'	8 Tu, figlio dell'uomo, ascolta ciò che ti dirò; non essere ribelle come quella casa ribelle. Apri la tua bocca e mangia ciò che ti do".
9 When I looked, there was a hand stretch- ing out to me, holding a scrol .	9 Ed ecco che vidi una mano tesa verso di me e in essa un rotolo scritto.
10 He un- rol ed it in front of me; it was written on, front and back; on it was written 'Lamentations, dirgesand cries of grief '.	10 Lo stese dinanzi a me; era scritto all'interno e all'esterno e vi erano scritti lamentazioni, gemiti e guai.
