Leviticus 8

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA VOLGARE
1 Yahweh spoke to Moses and said:	1 Parlò Iddio a Moisè, e dissegli:
2 'Take Aaron and with him his sons, the vestments, the anointing oil, the bul for the sacrifice for sin, thetwo rams and the basket of unleavened bread.	2 Togli Aaron e i suoi figliuoli, e le vestimenta sue, e l'unzione dell' olio, e uno vitello per lo peccato, e due montoni, e uno canestro pieno di azime.
3 Then cal the whole community together at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting.'	3 E raunerai tutto il popolo all'uscio del tabernacolo.
4 Moses did as Yahweh ordered; the community gathered at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting,	4 E fece Moisè secondo che Iddio gli comando. E raunata tutta la gente innanzi alla porta,
5 and Moses said to them, 'This is what Yahweh has ordered to be done.'	5 disse: queste sono le parole che Iddio vuole ch' io dica.
6 He made Aaron and his sons come forward and washed them with water.	6 E incontamente presentò Aaron e li suoi figliuoli. E lavogli.
7 He then dressed him in the tunic, passed the waistband round his waist, vested him in the robe and putthe ephod on him. He then put the waistband of the ephod round his waist, fastening it to him.	7 E poi vestì [il pontefice] della veste di lino; e cinselo d'uno cingulo alli lombi, e vestillo della veste iacintina, e disopra posegli il sopraomerale.
8 He put the breastplate on him, and placed the urim and thummim in it.	8 E cinselo con uno cingolo, e acconciollo al razionale, nel quale era giustizia e verità.
9 He put the turban on his head, and on the front of the turban, the golden flower; this was the symbol ofholy consecration, which Yahweh had prescribed to Moses.	9 E posegli la mitra in capo, e sopra essa, dalla fronte, una piastra d'oro, consecrata della santificazione, come Iddio aveva comandato.
10 Moses then took the anointing oil and anointed the Dwel ing and everything inside it, to consecratethem.	10 E tolse la unzion dell' olio, del quale unse lo tabernacolo con tutte le sue massarizie.
11 He sprinkled the altar seven times and anointed the altar and its accessories, the basin and its stand,to consecrate them.	11 E conciosia che, santificando, aspergesse l'altare sette volte, unse quello con tutti i suoi vasi; e il vaso grande col suo basamento santificò col l'olio.
12 He then poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed him to consecrate him.	12 Lo qual olio versò sopra lo capo d'Aaron, e unselo e consecrollo.
13 Moses then made Aaron's sons come forward; he dressed them in tunics, passed the waistbandsround their waists and put on their head-dresses, as Yahweh had ordered him.	13 E i figliuoli avendogli appresentato, vestigli di veste di lino; e cinsegli di cingoli, e posegli le mitre, secondo che Iddio avea comandato.
14 He then had the bull for the sacrifice for sin brought forward. Aaron and his sons laid their hands onthe victim's head	14 E offerse uno vitello per lo peccato; e avendo (Aaron e i figliuoli suoi) posta la mano sopra lo capo dello vitello,
15 and Moses slaughtered it. He then took the blood and with his finger put some of it on the horns on thecorners of the altar to purify the altar. He then poured the rest of the blood at the foot of the altar, which heconsecrated by performing the rite of expiation over it.	15 offerselo, traendone lo sangue; e tinto lo dito, tinse ai canti dell' altare intorno intorno; lo qual mondato e santificato, prese l'altro sangue, e versollo a' piedi dell' altare.
16 He then took all the fat covering the entrails, the mass of fat over the liver, both kidneys and their fat;and he burnt this on the altar,	16 La grassa, che era sopra l'interiora, e la rete dello fegato, e i due lombi cogli grassi suoi, arsegli sopra l'altare.
17 but the bul 's skin, its meat and its offal he burnt outside the camp, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	17 Lo vitello con la pelle, e con la carne e con le feci, fece consumare fuori dello abitato, secondo che Iddio avea comandato.
18 He then had the ram for the burnt offering brought forward. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on theram's head	18 Offerse con esso uno montone in sacrificio: e quando Aaron e gli figliuoli suoi gli ebbono posto le mani sopra lo capo,
19 and Moses slaughtered it. He poured its blood al around the altar.	19 offerselo; e trassegli lo sangue d'adosso, e versollo d'intorno sopra all'altare.
20 He then quartered the ram and burned the head, the quarters and the fat.	20 E questo montone tagliando in pezzi, lo capo e li membri e lo grasso mise nel fuoco,
21 He then washed the entrails and shins, and burnt the whole ram on the altar, as a burnt offering,offered to be a pleasing smel , as food burnt for Yahweh, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	21 lavate prima l'interiora e tutti i piedi; e tutto insieme questo montone arse sopra l'altare, perciò ch' era soavissimo odore a Dio in sacrificio, secondo ch' egli avea comandato.
22 He then had the other ram brought forward, the ram for the investiture sacrifice. Aaron and his sonslaid their hands on its head	22 E offerse un altro montone per la conse crazione de' sacerdoti; e Aaron e li figliuoli gli posero le mani sue sopra lo capo.
23 and Moses slaughtered it. He took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron's right ear, on thethumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.	23 Lo quale offerendo Moisè in sacrificio, pigliò del sangue, e tinse la punta dell' orecchia ritta ad Aaron, e lo dito grosso della mano e dello piede ritto.
24 He then made Aaron's sons come forward and he put some of the blood on the lobes of their rightears, on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. Next, Moses poured the rest of theblood al around the altar.	24 E offerse poi gli figliuoli di Aaron; e quando dello sangue del montone offerto avesse toccato l'orecchie diritte ad ognuno, e lo dito grosso della mano e dello piede ritto, l'altro versoe sopra l'altare in ogni parte.
25 He then took the fat: the tail, al the fat covering the entrails, the mass of fat over the liver, both kidneysand their fat, and the right thigh.	25 Lo grasso con la coda, e ogni grassezza che copre l'interiora, e la rete del fegato, e due lombi colla sua grassa, e la spalla ritta separò.
26 From the basket of unleavened bread placed before Yahweh, he took an unleavened cake, a cake ofbread made with oil, and a wafer; he placed these on the fat and the right thigh,	26 E togliendo dello canestro gli azimi ch' erano presenti a Dio, [lo] pane senza levame, e la crusca unta coll'olio e li crostoli, pose sopra la grassa e lo braccio ritto.
27 and put it al into Aaron's hands and those of his sons, and made the gesture of offering beforeYahweh.	27 E diede ogni cosa ad Aaron e alli figliuoli suoi; i quali poi che l'ebbono levate dinnanzi al Signore,
28 Moses then took them away from them and burned them on the altar, with the burnt offering. This wasthe investiture sacrifice, offered to be a pleasing smel , as food burnt for Yahweh.	28 un'altra volta tolsele delle loro mani, e fece sacrificio sopra l'altare del sacrificio; perciò ch' era oblazione di consecrazione, in odore soavissimo del sacrificio di Dio.
29 Moses then took the forequarter and made the gesture of offering before Yahweh. This was the portionof the ram of investiture that reverted to Moses, as Yahweh had ordered Moses.	29 E tolse il petto, levandolo del montone della consacrazione, in presenza d'Iddio per la parte sua, secondo che Iddio avea comandato.
30 Moses then took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkledAaron and his vestments, and his sons and their vestments, with it. In this way he consecrated Aaron and hisvestments and his sons and their vestments.	30 E tollendo l'unguento e lo sangue ch' era sopra l'altare, sparselo sopra Aaron e sopra le restimenta, e sopra i figliuoli e le loro vestimenta.
31 Moses then said to Aaron and his sons, 'Cook the meat at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, and eatit there, as also the bread of the investiture sacrifice stil in the basket of the investiture offerings, as I ordered,when I said, "Aaron and his sons must eat it."	31 E come gli ebbe santificati ne' loro vestimenti, comandò a loro, e disse: cuocete la carne nanzi alle porte del tabernacolo, e ivi la mangiate; e li pani della consacrazione mangiate, i quali sono posti nello canestro, secondo che Iddio avea comandato a me, dicendo: Aaron e li figliuoli suoi mangeranno.
32 What remains of the meat and bread you wil burn.	32 Ogni cosa che rimarrà della carne e del pane, si metta al fuoco.
33 For seven days you wil not leave the entrance to the Tent of Meeting, until the time of your investitureis complete; for your investiture wil require seven days.	33 Dell'uscio del tabernacolo non uscirete insino al settimo di, insino a tanto che sarà compiuto lo tempo della vostra consacrazione. In sette di si finirà la consacrazione;
34 Yahweh has ordered us to do as we have done today to perform the rite of expiation for you;	34 secondo che abbiamo fatto ora, acciò che sacrificio si compia.
35 hence, for seven days, day and night, you wil remain at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting observingYahweh's ritual; do this, and you wil not incur death. For this was the order I received.'	35 Lo dì e la notte sarete nel tabernacolo, guardando le custodie del Signore, acciò che non muoiate, secondo che mi fu comandato.
36 So Aaron and his sons did everything that Yahweh had ordered through Moses.	36 Fecero Aaron e li figliuoli ogni cosa che Moisè gli disse dalla parte di Dio.
