1 'The Dwelling itself you wil make with ten sheets of finely woven linen dyed violet-purple, red-purpleand crimson. You will have them embroidered with great winged creatures.	1 "Quant à la demeure, tu la feras de dix bandes d'étoffe de fin lin retors, de pourpre violette etécarlate et de cramoisi. 2 The length of a single sheet is to be twenty-eight cubits, its width four cubits, al the sheets to be of thesame size.	2 La longueur d'une bande sera de 28 coudées, sa largeur de quatre coudées, et toutes les bandesauront la même dimension.
3 Five of the sheets are to be joined to one another, and the other five sheets are to be joined to oneanother.	3 Cinq des bandes seront assemblées l'une à l'autre, et les cinq autres bandes seront assemblées l'une àl'autre.
4 You will make violet loops along the edge of the first sheet, at the end of the set, and do the samealong the edge of the last sheet in the other set.	4 Tu feras des brides de pourpre violette à la lisière de la première bande, à l'extrémité del'assemblage, et tu feras de même à la lisière de la bande qui termine le second assemblage.

6 You will also make fifty gold clasps, and join the sheets together with the clasps. In this way theDwelling wil be a unified whole.	6 Tu feras aussi 50 agrafes d'or, et tu assembleras les bandes l'une à l'autre avec les agrafes. Ainsi laDemeure sera d'un seul tenant.
7 'You will make sheets of goats' hair to form a tent over the Dwel ing; you wil make eleven of these.	7 Tu feras des bandes d'étoffe en poil de chèvre pour former une tente au-dessus de la Demeure. Tu enferas onze.

9 You will join five sheets together into one set, and six sheets into another; the sixth you wil fold doubleover the front of the tent.	9 Tu assembleras cinq bandes d'une part et six bandes d'autre part, et tu rabattras la sixième sur ledevant de la tente.

25 Thus there wil be eight frames with their silver sockets: sixteen sockets; two sockets under oneframe and two sockets under the next frame.	25 Il y aura donc huit cadres avec leurs socles d'argent, soit seize socles: deux socles sous un premiercadre, deux socles sous un autre cadre.
26 'You wil make crossbars of acacia wood: five for the frames of the first side of the Dwelling,	26 Tu feras des traverses en bois d'acacia: cinq pour les cadres du premier côté de la Demeure,
27 five crossbars for the frames of the opposite side of the Dwel ing, and five crossbars for the frameswhich form the back of the Dwel ing, to the west.	27 cinq traverses pour les cadres du second côté de la Demeure, et cinq traverses pour les cadres quiforment le fond de la Demeure, vers l'ouest.

32 and put it on four poles of acacia wood overlaid with gold, with golden hooks for them, set in foursockets of silver.	32 Tu le mettras sur quatre colonnes d'acacia plaquées d'or, munies de crochets d'or, posées sur quatresocles d'argent.
33 You wil put the curtain below the clasps, so that inside behind the curtain, you can place the ark ofthe Testimony, and the curtain wil mark the division for you between the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies.	33 Tu mettras le rideau sous les agrafes, tu introduiras là, derrière le rideau, l'arche du Témoignage, etle rideau marquera pour vous la séparation entre le Saint et le Saint des Saints.
34 You wil put the mercy-seat on the ark of the Testimony in the Holy of Holies.	34 Tu mettras le propitiatoire sur l'arche du Témoignage, dans le Saint des Saints.
35 You wil place the table outside the curtain, and the lamp-stand on the south side of the Dwel ing,opposite the table; you will put the table on the north side.	35 Tu placeras la table à l'extérieur du rideau, et le candélabre en face d'elle, du côté sud de laDemeure, et tu mettras la table du côté nord.
36 For the entrance to the tent you wil make a screen of finely woven linen embroidered with violet-purple, red-purple and crimson,	36 Tu feras pour l'entrée de la tente un voile broché de pourpre violette et écarlate, de cramoisi et defin lin retors.
37 and for the screen you wil make five poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, with goldenhooks, and for them you wil cast five sockets of bronze.'	37 Tu feras pour ce voile cinq colonnes d'acacia et tu les plaqueras d'or, leurs crochets seront en or, ettu couleras pour elles cinq socles de bronze.
