Psalms 96

NEW AMERICAN BIBLE	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth.	1 Canten al Señor un canto nuevo, cante al Señor toda la tierra;
2 Sing to the LORD, bless his name; announce his salvation day after day.	2 canten al Señor, bendigan su Nombre, día tras día, proclamen su victoria.
3 Tell God's glory among the nations; among all peoples, God's marvelous deeds.	3 Anuncien su gloria entre las naciones, y sus maravillas entre los pueblos.
4 For great is the LORD and highly to be praised, to be feared above all gods.	4 Porque el Señor es grande y muy digno de alabanza, más temible que todos los dioses.
5 For the gods of the nations all do nothing, but the LORD made the heavens.	5 Los dioses de los pueblos no son más que apariencia, pero el Señor hizo el cielo;
6 Splendor and power go before him; power and grandeur are in his holy place.	6 en su presencia hay esplendor y majestad, en su Santuario, poder y hermosura.
7 Give to the LORD, you families of nations, give to the LORD glory and might;	7 Aclamen al Señor, familias de los pueblos, aclamen la gloria y el poder del Señor;
8 give to the LORD the glory due his name! Bring gifts and enter his courts;	8 aclamen la gloria del nombre del Señor. Entren en sus atrios trayendo una ofrenda,
9 bow down to the LORD, splendid in holiness. Tremble before God, all the earth;	9 adoren al Señor al manifestarse su santidad: ¡que toda la tierra tiemble ante él!
10 say among the nations: The LORD is king. The world will surely stand fast, never to be moved. God rules the peoples with fairness.	10 Digan entre las naciones: «¡el Señor reina! El mundo está firme y no vacilará. El Señor juzgará a los pueblos con rectitud».
11 Let the heavens be glad and the earth rejoice; let the sea and what fills it resound;	11 Alégrese el cielo y exulte la tierra, resuene el mar y todo lo que hay en él;
12 let the plains be joyful and all that is in them. Then let all the trees of the forest rejoice	12 regocíjese el campo con todos sus frutos, griten de gozo los árboles del bosque.
13 before the LORD who comes, who comes to govern the earth, To govern the world with justice and the peoples with faithfulness.	13 Griten de gozo delante del Señor, porque él viene a gobernar la tierra: él gobernará al mundo con justicia, y a los pueblos con su verdad.
