ΛΕΥΙΤΙΚΟΝ - Levitico - Leviticus 1

LXX	NEW AMERICAN BIBLE
1 και ανεκαλεσεν μωυσην και ελαλησεν κυριος αυτω εκ της σκηνης του μαρτυριου λεγων	1 The LORD called Moses, and from the meeting tent gave him this message:
2 λαλησον τοις υιοις ισραηλ και ερεις προς αυτους ανθρωπος εξ υμων εαν προσαγαγη δωρα τω κυριω απο των κτηνων απο των βοων και απο των προβατων προσοισετε τα δωρα υμων	2 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When any one of you wishes to bring an animal offering to the LORD, such an offering must be from the herd or from the flock.
3 εαν ολοκαυτωμα το δωρον αυτου εκ των βοων αρσεν αμωμον προσαξει προς την θυραν της σκηνης του μαρτυριου προσοισει αυτο δεκτον εναντιον κυριου	3 "If his holocaust offering is from the herd, it must be a male without blemish. To find favor with the LORD, he shall bring it to the entrance of the meeting tent
4 και επιθησει την χειρα επι την κεφαλην του καρπωματος δεκτον αυτω εξιλασασθαι περι αυτου	4 and there lay his hand on the head of the holocaust, so that it may be acceptable to make atonement for him.
5 και σφαξουσι τον μοσχον εναντι κυριου και προσοισουσιν οι υιοι ααρων οι ιερεις το αιμα και προσχεουσιν το αιμα επι το θυσιαστηριον κυκλω το επι των θυρων της σκηνης του μαρτυριου	5 He shall then slaughter the bull before the LORD, but Aaron's sons, the priests, shall offer up its blood by splashing it on the sides of the altar which is at the entrance of the meeting tent.
6 και εκδειραντες το ολοκαυτωμα μελιουσιν αυτο κατα μελη	6 Then he shall skin the holocaust and cut it up into pieces.
7 και επιθησουσιν οι υιοι ααρων οι ιερεις πυρ επι το θυσιαστηριον και επιστοιβασουσιν ξυλα επι το πυρ	7 After Aaron's sons, the priests, have put some burning embers on the altar and laid some wood on them,
8 και επιστοιβασουσιν οι υιοι ααρων οι ιερεις τα διχοτομηματα και την κεφαλην και το στεαρ επι τα ξυλα τα επι του πυρος τα οντα επι του θυσιαστηριου	8 they shall lay the pieces of meat, together with the head and the suet, on top of the wood and embers on the altar.
9 τα δε εγκοιλια και τους ποδας πλυνουσιν υδατι και επιθησουσιν οι ιερεις τα παντα επι το θυσιαστηριον καρπωμα εστιν θυσια οσμη ευωδιας τω κυριω	9 The inner organs and the shanks, however, the offerer shall first wash with water. The priest shall then burn the whole offering on the altar as a holocaust, a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.
10 εαν δε απο των προβατων το δωρον αυτου τω κυριω απο τε των αρνων και των εριφων εις ολοκαυτωμα αρσεν αμωμον προσαξει αυτο και επιθησει την χειρα επι την κεφαλην αυτου	10 "If his holocaust offering is from the flock, that is, a sheep or a goat, he must bring a male without blemish.
11 και σφαξουσιν αυτο εκ πλαγιων του θυσιαστηριου προς βορραν εναντι κυριου και προσχεουσιν οι υιοι ααρων οι ιερεις το αιμα αυτου επι το θυσιαστηριον κυκλω	11 This he shall slaughter before the LORD at the north side of the altar. Then Aaron's sons, the priests, shall splash its blood on the sides of the altar.
12 και διελουσιν αυτο κατα μελη και την κεφαλην και το στεαρ και επιστοιβασουσιν αυτα οι ιερεις επι τα ξυλα τα επι του πυρος τα επι του θυσιαστηριου	12 When the offerer has cut it up into pieces, the priest shall lay these, together with the head and suet, on top of the wood and the fire on the altar.
13 και τα εγκοιλια και τους ποδας πλυνουσιν υδατι και προσοισει ο ιερευς τα παντα και επιθησει επι το θυσιαστηριον καρπωμα εστιν θυσια οσμη ευωδιας τω κυριω	13 The inner organs and the shanks, however, the offerer shall first wash with water. The priest shall offer them up and then burn the whole offering on the altar as a holocaust, a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.
14 εαν δε απο των πετεινων καρπωμα προσφερης δωρον τω κυριω και προσοισει απο των τρυγονων η απο των περιστερων το δωρον αυτου	14 "If he offers a bird as a holocaust to the LORD, he shall choose a turtledove or a pigeon as his offering.
15 και προσοισει αυτο ο ιερευς προς το θυσιαστηριον και αποκνισει την κεφαλην και επιθησει ο ιερευς επι το θυσιαστηριον και στραγγιει το αιμα προς την βασιν του θυσιαστηριου	15 Having brought it to the altar where it is to be burned, the priest shall snap its head loose and squeeze out its blood against the side of the altar.
16 και αφελει τον προλοβον συν τοις πτεροις και εκβαλει αυτο παρα το θυσιαστηριον κατα ανατολας εις τον τοπον της σποδου	16 Its crop and feathers shall be removed and thrown on the ash heap at the east side of the altar.
17 και εκκλασει αυτο εκ των πτερυγων και ου διελει και επιθησει αυτο ο ιερευς επι το θυσιαστηριον επι τα ξυλα τα επι του πυρος καρπωμα εστιν θυσια οσμη ευωδιας τω κυριω	17 Then, having split the bird down the middle without separating the halves, the priest shall burn it on the altar, over the wood on the fire, as a holocaust, a sweet-smelling oblation to the LORD.
