1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.	1 Salió Jesús del Templo y, cuando se iba, se le acercaron sus discípulos para mostrarle las construcciones del Templo.
2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.	2 Pero él les respondió: «¿Veis todo esto? Yo os aseguro no quedará aquí piedra sobre piedra que no sea derruida».
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?	3 Estando luego sentado en el monte de los Olivos, se acercaron a él en privado sus discípulos, y le dijeron: «Dinos cuándo sucederá eso, y cuál será la señal de tu venida y del fin del mundo».
4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.	4 Jesús les respondió: «Mirad que no os engañe nadie.
5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.	5 Porque vendrán muchos usurpando mi nombre y diciendo: “Yo soy el Cristo”, y engañarán a muchos.
6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.	6 Oiréis también hablar de guerras y rumores de guerras. ¡Cuidado, no os alarméis! Porque eso es necesario que suceda, pero no es todavía el fin.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.	7 Pues se levantará nación contra nación y reino contra reino, y habrá en diversos lugares hambre y terremotos.
8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.	8 Todo esto será el comienzo de los dolores de alumbramiento.
9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.	9 «Entonces os entregarán a la tortura y os matarán, y seréis odiados de todas las naciones por causa de mi nombre.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.	10 Muchos se escandalizarán entonces y se traicionarán y odiarán mutuamente.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.	11 Surgirán muchos falsos profetas, que engañarán a muchos.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.	12 Y al crecer cada vez más la iniquidad, la caridad de la mayoría se enfriará.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.	13 Pero el que persevere hasta el fin, ése se salvará.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.	14 «Se proclamará esta Buena Nueva del Reino en el mundo entero, para dar testimonio a todas las naciones. Y entonces vendrá el fin.
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)	15 «Cuando veáis, pues, la abominación de la desolación, anunciada por el profeta Daniel, erigida en el Lugar Santo (el que lea, que entienda),
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:	16 entonces, los que estén en Judea, huyan a los montes;
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:	17 el que esté en el terrado, no baje a recoger las cosas de su casa;
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.	18 y el que esté en el campo, no regrese en busca de su manto.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!	19 ¡Ay de las que estén encinta o criando en aquellos días!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:	20 Orad para que vuestra huida no suceda en invierno ni en día de sábado.
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.	21 Porque habrá entonces una gran tribulación, cual no la hubo desde el principio del mundo hasta el presente ni volverá a haberla.
22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.	22 Y si aquellos días no se abreviasen, no se salvaría nadie; pero en atención a los elegidos se abreviarán aquellos días.
23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.	23 «Entonces, si alguno os dice: “Mirad, el Cristo está aquí o allí, no lo creáis.
24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.	24 Porque surgirán falsos cristos y falsos profetas, que harán grandes señales y prodigios, capaces de engañar, si fuera posible, a los mismos elegidos.
25 Behold, I have told you before.	25 ¡Mirad que os lo he predicho!
26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.	26 «Así que si os dicen: “Está en el desierto”, no salgáis; “Está en los aposentos”, no lo creáis.
27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.	27 Porque como el relámpago sale por oriente y brilla hasta occidente, así será la venida del Hijo del hombre.
28 For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.	28 Donde esté el cadáver, allí se juntarán los buitres.
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:	29 «Inmediatamente después de la tribulación de aquellos días, el sol se oscurecerá, la luna no dará su resplandor, las estrellas caerán del cielo, y las fuerzas de los cielos serán sacudidas.
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.	30 Entonces aparecerá en el cielo la señal del Hijo del hombre; y entonces se golpearán el pecho todas las razas de la tierra y verán al Hijo del hombre venir sobre las nubes del cielo con gran poder y gloria.
31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.	31 El enviará a sus ángeles con sonora trompeta, y reunirán de los cuatro vientos a sus elegidos, desde un extremo de los cielos hasta el otro.
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:	32 «De la higuera aprended esta parábola: cuando ya sus ramas están tiernas y brotan las hojas, sabéis que el verano está cerca.
33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.	33 Así también vosotros, cuando veáis todo esto, sabed que El está cerca, a las puertas.
34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.	34 Yo os aseguro que no pasará esta generación hasta que todo esto suceda.
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.	35 El cielo y la tierra pasarán, pero mis palabras no pasarán.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.	36 Mas de aquel día y hora, nadie sabe nada, ni los ángeles de los cielos, ni el Hijo, sino sólo el Padre.
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.	37 «Como en los días de Noé, así será la venida del Hijo del hombre.
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,	38 Porque como en los días que precedieron al diluvio, comían, bebían, tomaban mujer o marido, hasta el día en que entró Noé en el arca,
39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.	39 y no se dieron cuenta hasta que vino el diluvio y los arrastró a todos, así será también la venida del Hijo del hombre.
40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.	40 Entonces, estarán dos en el campo: uno es tomado, el otro dejado;
41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.	41 dos mujeres moliendo en el molino: una es tomada, la otra dejada.
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.	42 «Velad, pues, porque no sabéis qué día vendrá vuestro Señor.
43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.	43 Entendedlo bien: si el dueño de casa supiese a qué hora de la noche iba a venir el ladrón, estaría en vela y no permitiría que le horadasen su casa.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.	44 Por eso, también vosotros estad preparados, porque en el momento que no penséis, vendrá el Hijo del hombre.
45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?	45 «¿Quién es, pues, el siervo fiel y prudente, a quien el señor puso al frente de su servidumbre para darles la comida a su tiempo?
46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.	46 Dichoso aquel siervo a quien su señor, al llegar, encuentre haciéndolo así.
47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.	47 Yo os aseguro que le pondrá al frente de toda su hacienda.
48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;	48 Pero si el mal siervo aquel se dice en su corazón: “Mi señor tarda”,
49 And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;	49 y se pone a golpear a sus compañeros y come y bebe con los borrachos,
50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,	50 vendrá el señor de aquel siervo el día que no espera y en el momento que no sabe,
51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.	51 le separará y le señalará su suerte entre los hipócritas; allí será el llanto y el rechinar de dientes.
