Psalms 149

1 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.	1 Al Signore cantate il canto nuovo; la laude sua è nella chiesa de' santi.
2 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.	2 Rallegrisi Israel in quello che ha fatto lui; e rallegrinsi li figliuoli di Sion nel re suo.
3 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.	3 Laudino il suo nome nel coro; nel timpano e salterio a lui salmizzino.
4 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.	4 Per che il Signore è stato piacevole nel suo populo; e rallegrarà li mansueti nella salute.
5 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.	5 Rallegraransi li santi nella gloria; e rallegraransi nelle abitazioni sue.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand;	6 Le allegrezze di Dio saranno nella loro gola; e li loro coltelli, da ogni parte aguzzati, son nelle loro mani;
7 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;	7 per far vendetta nelle nazioni, e le reprensioni nelli populi;
8 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;	8 per alligare li re con le catene, e loro gentili uomini con le catene del ferro;
9 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.	9 acciò faccino in quelli il giudizio già scritto; questa è la gloria a tutti li santi suoi.
