2 a Kolosszében élő szent és hívő testvéreknek Krisztusban. Kegyelem nektek és békesség Istentől, a mi Atyánktól!	2 to the holy ones and faithful brothers in Christ in Colossae: grace to you and peace from God our Father.

13 Kiragadott minket a sötétség hatalmából, s áthelyezett szeretett Fiának országába.	13 He delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son,
14 Benne van a mi megváltásunk, a bűnök bocsánata.	14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
15 Ő a láthatatlan Isten képmása, és minden teremtmény elsőszülöttje,	15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
16 mert benne teremtetett minden az égben és a földön, a láthatók és a láthatatlanok, a trónusok és uralmak, a fejedelemségek és hatalmasságok. 24 Most pedig örömest szenvedek értetek, és kiegészítem testemben azt, ami hiányzik Krisztus szenvedéseiből, testének, az egyháznak javára,	24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am filling up what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ on behalf of his body, which is the church,

29 Ezért fáradozom és küzdök az ő erejének segítségével, amely hatékonyan működik bennem.	29 For this I labor and struggle, in accord with the exercise of his power working within me.
