1 El año vigesimoquinto de nuestro exilio, al comienzo del año, el décimo día del mes, es decir, catorce años después de la destrucción de la ciudad, ese mismo día, la mano del Señor descendió sobre mí, y él me llevó allá.	1 In the twenty-fifth year of our transmigration, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was struck, on this very day, the hand of the Lord was placed upon me, and he brought me to that place.
2 En una visión divina, me llevó a la tierra de Israel y me posó sobre una montaña muy alta, sobre la que había algo así como las construcciones de una ciudad, al sur.	2 In the visions of God, he brought me into the land of Israel, and he released me on an exceedingly high mountain, on which there was something like the edifice of a city, verging toward the south.
3 El me llevó hasta allí, y yo vi a un hombre que por su aspecto parecía de bronce, con una cuerda de lino y una vara de medir en la mano. Estaba de pie en el pórtico.	3 And he led me into that place. And behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like the appearance of brass, with a linen rope in his hand, and a measuring reed in his hand. And he was standing at the gate.
4 El hombre me dijo: «Hijo de hombre, mira bien, escucha cuidadosamente y presta atención a todo lo que te voy a mostrar, porque has sido traído aquí para que yo te muestre todo esto. Comunica luego al pueblo de Israel todo lo que vas a ver».	4 And the same man said to me: “Son of man, look with your eyes, and listen with your ears, and set your heart upon all that I will reveal to you. For you have been brought to this place, so that these things may be revealed to you. Announce all that you see to the house of Israel.”
5 Allí había un muro, que rodeaba toda la parte exterior de la Casa. La vara de medir que el hombre tenía en la mano era de seis codos, a razón de codo y palmo, es decir, de medio metro por cada codo. El hombre midió el espesor y la altura de la construcción, y ambos medían una vara.	5 And behold, there was a wall outside of the house, encircling it all around, and in the man’s hand was a measuring reed of six cubits and a palm. And he measured the width of the edifice with one reed; likewise, the height with one reed.
6 Luego fue hasta la puerta que daba en dirección al oriente, subió sus gradas y midió el umbral de la puerta: su anchura era de una vara.	6 And he went to the gate which looked toward the east, and he ascended by its steps. And he measured the width of the threshold of the gate as one reed, that is, one threshold was one reed in width.
7 Cada celda lateral medía una vara de largo por una de ancho; el espacio entre una celda y otra era de dos metros y medio; y el umbral de la puerta, por el lado del vestíbulo de la puerta, hacia el interior, era de una vara.	7 And a chamber was one reed in length and one reed in width. And between the chambers, there were five cubits.
8 El midió el vestíbulo de la puerta:	8 And the threshold of the gate, next to the inner vestibule of the gate, was one reed.
9 este tenía cuatro metros, y sus pilares eran de un metro. El vestíbulo de la puerta estaba situado hacia el interior.	9 And he measured the vestibule of the gate as eight cubits, and its front as two cubits. But the vestibule of the gate was inside.
10 Las celdas de la puerta que daba hacia el este, eran tres de un lado y tres del otro, y todas tenían la misma dimensión. También los pilares tenían la misma dimensión, de un lado y del otro.	10 Moreover, the chambers of the gate, toward the way of the east, were three from one side to the other. The three were of one measure, and the fronts were of one measure, on both sides.
11 El midió la anchura de la entrada de la puerta, que era de cinco metros, y la longitud de la puerta, que era de seis metros y medio.	11 And he measured the width of the threshold of the gate as ten cubits, and the length of the gate as thirteen cubits.
12 Delante de las celdas, a uno y otro lado, había una baranda de medio metro; y cada celda medía tres metros por tres.	12 And before the chambers, the border was one cubit. And on both sides, the border was one cubit. But the chambers were six cubits, from one side to the other.
13 También midió la puerta, desde el techo de una celda al de la celda de enfrente: su ancho era de doce metros y medio, desde una abertura a la otra.	13 And he measured the gate, from the roof of one chamber to the roof of another, twenty-five cubits in width, from door to door.
14 Luego midió el vestíbulo, que era de diez metros, y el atrio rodeaba todo el vestíbulo de la puerta.	14 And he found the fronts to be sixty cubits. And at the front, there was a court for the gate on every side all around.
15 El corredor que iba desde el frente de la puerta hasta la fachada del vestíbulo de la puerta interior, era de veinticinco metros.	15 And before the face of the gate, which extended even to the face of the vestibule of the gate of the interior, there were fifty cubits.
16 Sobre las celdas y sus pilares había ventanas con enrejados, hacia el interior de la puerta, todo en derredor. De la misma manera, la parte interior del vestíbulo estaba rodeada de ventanas, y sobre las columnas había grabados en forma de palmeras.	16 And there were slanting windows in the chambers and at their fronts, which were within the gate on every side all around. And similarly, there were also windows in the vestibules all around the interior, and there were images of palm trees before the fronts.
17 El hombre me llevó hasta el atrio exterior, y allí vi unas habitaciones y un pavimento construido alrededor de todo el atrio: había treinta habitaciones sobre el pavimento.	17 And he led me away to the outer court, and behold, there were storerooms and a layer of pavement stones throughout the court. Thirty storerooms encircled the pavement.
18 El pavimento bordeaba las puertas, en toda la extensión de las mismas: este era el pavimento interior.	18 And the pavement in front of the gates, along the length of the gates, was lower.
19 El midió la anchura del atrio, desde el frente de la puerta interior hasta el frente del atrio interior, por la parte de afuera: el ancho era de cincuenta metros al este y al norte.	19 And he measured the width, from the face of the lower gate to the front of the outer part of the inner court, to be one hundred cubits, to the east and to the north.
20 El hombre midió el ancho y el largo de la puerta que daba hacia el norte, sobre el atrio exterior.	20 Likewise, he measured the gate of the outer court, which looked to the way of the north, to be as much in length as in width.
21 Sus celdas –tres de un lado y tres del otro–, sus pilares y su vestíbulo tenían la misma dimensión que los de la primera puerta: veinticinco metros de largo y doce metros y medio de ancho.	21 And its chambers were three from one side to the other. And its front and its vestibule, in accord with the measure of the former gate, were fifty cubits in its length and twenty-five cubits in width.
22 Sus ventanas, su vestíbulo y sus palmeras tenían la misma dimensión que las de la puerta que daba hacia el este. A ella se subía por siete gradas, frente a las cuales estaba su vestíbulo.	22 Now its windows, and the vestibule, and the engravings were in accord with the measure of the gate which looked to the east. And its ascent was by seven steps, and a vestibule was before it.
23 Allí había una puerta que daba al atrio interior, frente a la puerta del norte, igual que para la puerta del este. El hombre midió la distancia de una puerta a la otra, y era de cincuenta metros.	23 And the gate of the inner court was opposite the gate of the north, and that of the east. And he measured from gate to gate as one hundred cubits.
24 Luego me condujo en dirección al sur, y yo vi que había una puerta que daba hacia el sur. El midió las celdas, los pilares y el vestíbulo: estos tenían las mismas dimensiones que los anteriores.	24 And he led me to the way of the south, and behold, there was a gate which looked toward the south. And he measured its front and its vestibule to be the same as the measures above.
25 La puerta y su vestíbulo estaban rodeados de ventanas semejantes a las ventas anteriores. Su largo era de veinticinco metros y su ancho de doce metros y medio	25 And its windows and the vestibule all around were like the other windows: fifty cubits in length and twenty-five cubits in width.
26 Su escalinata tenía siete gradas y enfrente de ella estaba su vestíbulo. También tenía palmeras sobre los pilares, que estaban uno de un lado y otro del otro.	26 And there were seven steps to ascend to it, and a vestibule before its doors. And there were engraved palm trees, one on each side, at its front.
27 El atrio interior tenía una puerta en dirección al sur. El hombre midió la distancia de una puerta a la otra en dirección al sur, y era de cincuenta metros.	27 And there was a gate at the inner court, on the way to the south. And he measured from one gate to another, on the way to the south, to be one hundred cubits.
28 El hombre me llevó hasta el atrio interior por la puerta del sur, y midió la puerta del sur. Sus dimensiones eran las mismas que las anteriores.	28 And he led me into the inner court, to the south gate. And he measured the gate to be in accord with the measures above.
29 Sus celdas, sus pilares y su vestíbulo, estaba rodeada de ventanas. Su largo era de veinticinco metros y su ancho de doce metros y medio.	29 Its chamber, and its front, and its vestibule had the same measures. And its windows and its vestibule all around were fifty cubits in length, and twenty-five cubits in width.
30 A su alrededor había unos vestíbulos de doce metros y medio de largo y dos metros y medio de ancho.	30 And the vestibule all around was twenty-five cubits in length, and five cubits in width.
31 Su vestíbulo daba hacia el atrio exterior; había palmeras grabadas sobre sus pilares y su escalinata tenía ocho gradas.	31 And its vestibule was toward the outer court, and its palm trees were at the front. And there were eight steps to ascend to it.
32 El hombre me llevó hasta el atrio interior, hacia el este, y midió la puerta: esta tenía la misma dimensión de las anteriores.	32 And he led me into the inner court, along the way of the east. And he measured the gate to be in accord with the measures above.
33 Sus celdas, sus pilares y su vestíbulo tenían también las mismas dimensiones que los anteriores, La puerta y su vestíbulo estaban rodeados de ventanas. Su largo era de veinticinco metros y su ancho de doce metros y medio.	33 Its chamber, and its front, and its vestibule were as above. And its windows and its vestibules all around were fifty cubits in length, and twenty-five cubits in width.
34 Su vestíbulo daba hacia el atrio exterior; había palmeras sobre sus pilares, de un lado y del otro, y su escalinata tenía ocho gradas.	34 And it had a vestibule, that is, at the outer court. And the engraved palm trees at its front were on one side and the other. And its ascent was by eight steps.
35 El hombre me llevó hasta la puerta del norte y la midió: esta tenía la misma dimensión que las anteriores.	35 And he led me to the gate which looked toward the north. And he measured it to be in accord with the measures above.
36 Ella tenía sus celdas, sus pilares y su vestíbulo, con ventanas alrededor. Su largo era de veinticinco metros y su ancho de doce metros y medio.	36 Its chamber, and its front, and its vestibule, and its windows all around were fifty cubits in length, and twenty-five cubits in width.
37 Su vestíbulo daba hacia el atrio exterior; había palmeras sobre sus pilares, de un lado y del otro, y su escalinata tenía ocho gradas.	37 And its vestibule looked toward the outer court. And an engraving of palm trees at its front was on one side and the other. And its ascent was by eight steps.
38 También había una habitación que daba sobre el vestíbulo de la puerta: allí se lavaba el holocausto.	38 And at each one of the storerooms, there was a door at the front of the gates. There, they washed the holocaust.
39 En el vestíbulo de la puerta había dos mesas de un lado y dos mesas del otro para inmolar sobre ellas el holocausto, la víctima del sacrificio de reparación.	39 And at the vestibule of the gate, there were two tables on one side, and two tables on the other side, so that the holocaust, and the offering for sin, and the offering for transgression could be immolated upon them.
40 Fuera del vestíbulo;, a un lado de quien sube hacia la entrada de la puerta del norte, había dos meses, y al otro lado, hacia el vestíbulo de la puerta, otras dos mesas.	40 And at the outer side, which ascends to the door of the gate that goes toward the north, there were two tables. And at the other side, before the vestibule of the gate, there were two tables.
41 Habuatro mesaun lado de la puerta, y cuatro del otro, es decir, ocho mesas para inmolar las víctimas.	41 Four tables were on one side, and four tables were on the other side; along the sides of the gate, there were eight tables, upon which they immolated.
42 Además, había cuatro mesas para el holocausto, talladas en piedra, que tenían setenta y cinco centímetros de largo, setenta y cinco de ancho y cincuenta de alto. Sobre ellas se depositaban los instrumentos para inmolar las víctimas del holocausto y de los sacrificios.	42 Now the four tables for the holocausts were constructed of square stones: one and a half cubit in length, and one and a half cubits in width, and one cubit in height. Upon these, they placed the vessels, in which the holocaust and the victim were immolated.
43 En la parte interior, había unas ranuras de un palmo dispuestas alrededor. Sobre estas mesas se colocaba la carne de las ofrendas.	43 And their edges were one palm in width, turned inward all around. And the flesh of the oblation was on the tables.
44 El hombre me llevó hacia el atrio interior, y vi que en él había dos habitaciones, una sobre el lado de la puerta del norte, en dirección al sur, y otra sobre el lado de la puerta del sur, en dirección al norte.	44 And outside the interior gate, there were storerooms for the cantors, in the inner court, which was beside the gate that looks toward the north. And their face was opposite the way to the south; one was beside the east gate, which looked toward the way of the north.
45 El me dijo: «Esta habitación que da hacia el sur es para los sacerdotes encargados del culto de la Casa,	45 And he said to me: “This is the storeroom that looks toward the south; it shall be for the priests who keep watch for the protection of the temple.
46 y la habitación que da hacia el norte es para los sacerdotes encargados del culto del altar. Estos son los hijos de Sadoc, aquellos levitas que se acercan al Señor para servirlo».	46 Moreover, the storeroom that looks toward the north will be for the priests who keep watch over the ministry of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, those among the sons of Levi who may draw near to the Lord, so that they may minister to him.”
47 El hombre midió el atrio: su largo era de cincuenta metros y su ancho de otros cincuenta, es decir, un cuadrado. Y el altar estaba delante de la Casa.	47 And he measured the court to be one hundred cubits in length, and one hundred cubits in width, with four equal sides. And the altar was before the face of the temple.
48 El hombre me llevó hasta el vestíbulo de la Casa y midió sus pilares: tenían dos metros y medio, el de un lado y el del otro. Luego midió el ancho de la puerta: era de siete metros. También midió las paredes laterales de la puerta; estas tenían un metro y medio de un lado, y uno y medio del otro.	48 And he led me into the vestibule of the temple. And he measured the vestibule to be five cubits on one side, and five cubits on the other side. And the width of the gate was three cubits on one side, and three cubits on the other side.
49 El largo del vestíbulo era de seis metros. A él se subía por diez gradas, y tenía columnas junto a los pilares, una de cada lado.	49 Now the length of the vestibule was twenty cubits, and the width was eleven cubits, and there were eight steps to ascend to it. And there were pillars at the front, one on this side and another on that side.
