1 Himno. De David. Alef. Yo te ensalzo, oh Rey Dios mío, y bendigo tu nombre para siempre jamás;	1 Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war.
2 Bet. todos los días te bendeciré, por siempre jamás alabaré tu nombre;	2 My mercy, and my refuge: my support, and my deliverer: My protector, and I have hoped in him: who subdueth my people under me.
3 Guímel. grande es Yahveh y muy digno de alabanza, insondable su grandeza.	3 Lord, what is man, that thou art made known to him? or the son of man, that thou makest account of him?
4 Dálet. Una edad a otra encomiará tus obras, pregonará tus proezas.	4 Man is like to vanity: his days pass away like a shadow.
5 He. El esplendor, la gloria de tu majestad, el relato de tus maravillas, yo recitaré.	5 Lord, bow down thy heavens and descend: touch the mountains and they shall smoke.
6 Vau. Del poder de tus portentos se hablará, y yo tus grandezas contaré;	6 Send forth lightning, and thou shalt scatter them: shoot out thy arrows, and thou shalt trouble them.
7 Zain. se hará memoria de tu inmensa bondad, se aclamará tu justicia.	7 Put forth thy hand from on high, take me out, and deliver me from many waters: from the hand of strange children:
8 Jet. Clemente y compasivo es Yahveh, tardo a la cólera y grande en amor;	8 Whose mouth hath spoken vanity: and their right hand is the right hand of iniquity.
9 Tet bueno es Yahveh para con todos, y sus ternuras sobre todas sus obras.	9 To thee, O God, I will sing a new canticle: on the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings I will sing praises to thee.
10 Yod. Te darán gracias, Yahveh, todas tus obras y tus amigos te bendecirán;	10 Who givest salvation to kings: who hast redeemed thy servant David from the malicious sword:
11 Kaf. dirán la gloria de tu reino, de tus proezas hablarán,	11 Deliver me, And rescue me out of the hand of strange children; whose mouth hath spoken vanity: and their right hand is the right hand of iniquity:
12 Lámed. para mostrar a los hijos de Adán tus proezas, el esplendor y la gloria de tu reino.	12 Whose sons are as new plants in their youth: Their daughters decked out, adorned round about after the similitude of a temple:
13 Mem. Tu reino, un reino por los siglos todos, tu dominio, por todas las edades. (Nun.) Yahveh es fiel en todas sus palabras, en todas sus obras amoroso;	13 Their storehouses full, flowing out of this into that. Their sheep fruitful in young, abounding in their goings forth:
14 Sámek. Yahveh sostiene a todos los que caen, a todos los encorvados endereza.	14 their oxen fat. There is no breach of wall, nor passage, nor crying out in their streets.
15 Ain. Los ojos de todos fijos en ti, esperan que les des a su tiempo el alimento;	15 They have called the people happy, that hath these things: but happy is that people whose God is the Lord.
16 Pe. abres la mano tú y sacias a todo viviente a su placer.
17 Sade. Yahveh es justo en todos sus caminos, en todas sus obras amoroso;
18 Qof. cerca está Yahveh de los que le invocan, de todos los que le invocan con verdad.
19 Res. El cumple el deseo de los que le temen, escucha su clamor y los libera;
20 Sin. guarda Yahveh a cuantos le aman, a todos los impíos extermina.
21 Tau. ¡La alabanza de Yahveh diga mi boca, y toda carne bendiga su nombre sacrosanto, para siempre jamás!
