1 Questi sono quelli re che isconfissono i figliuoli d' Israel (e uccisono), e possedettono la terra loro di là dal (fiume) Giordano dove si leva il sole, dal torrente (dell' acqua) d' Arnon d'insino al monte di Ermon, e tutta la parte dell' oriente la quale ragguarda inverso la solitudine.	1 These are the kings whom the sons of Israel struck down, and whose land they possessed beyond the Jordan, toward the rising of the sun, from the torrent Arnon as far as mount Hermon, with the entire eastern region that looks out toward the wilderness:
