LA SACRA BIBBIA	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Salmo. Di Davide. Del Signore è la terra con quanto contiene, il mondo con quanti vi abitano,	1 On the first day of the week, a psalm for David. The earth is the Lord's and the fulness thereof: the world, and all they that dwell therein.
2 poiché sulle acque egli l'ha fondata e sulle correnti dell'oceano l'ha stabilita.	2 For he hath founded it upon the seas; and hath prepared it upon the rivers.
3 Chi può salire sul monte del Signore? Chi può restare nel suo santo luogo?	3 Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord: or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 Chi è innocente di mani e puro di cuore, chi non eleva a vanità la sua anima e non fa giuramenti a scopo d'inganno,	4 The innocent in hands, and clean of heart, who hath not taken his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.
5 costui riceverà la benedizione del Signore e giustizia dal Dio della sua salvezza.	5 He shall receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God his Saviour.
6 Tale è la generazione di quanti lo cercano, di quanti desiderano il volto del Dio di Giacobbe.	6 This is the generation of them that seek him, of them that seek the face of the God of Jacob.
7 Sollevate, o porte, i vostri architravi, innalzatevi, o portali eterni, perché entri il Re della gloria.	7 Lift up your gates, O ye princes, and be ye lifted up, O eternal gates: and the King of Glory shall enter in.
8 Chi è il Re della gloria? Il Signore, il forte, l'eroe, il Signore, l'eroe in battaglia.	8 Who is this King of Glory? the Lord who is strong and mighty: the Lord mighty in battle.
9 Sollevate, o porte, i vostri architravi, innalzatevi, o eterni portali, perché entri il Re della gloria.	9 Lift up your gates, O ye princes, and be ye lifted up, O eternal gates: and the King of Glory shall enter in.
10 Chi è mai il Re della gloria? Il Signore delle schiere, egli è il Re della gloria.	10 Who is this King of Glory? the Lord of hosts, he is the King of Glory.
