1 Alleluia. Lodate il Signore dai cieli, lodatelo dalle altezze.	1 Alleluia. Praise the Lord from the heavens. Praise him on the heights.
2 Lodatelo, voi tutti suoi angeli, lodatelo, voi tutte sue schiere.	2 Praise him, all his Angels. Praise him, all his hosts.
3 Lodatelo, sole e luna. Lodatelo, voi tutte stelle lucenti.	3 Praise him, sun and moon. Praise him, all stars and light.
4 Lodatelo, cieli dei cieli, e acque che state al di sopra dei cieli.	4 Praise him, heavens of the heavens. And let all the waters that are above the heavens
5 Lodino il nome del Signore, poiché comandò e furono creati;	5 praise the name of the Lord. For he spoke, and they became. He commanded, and they were created.
6 li stabilì per sempre, in eterno: diede un ordine che non verrà mai meno.	6 He has stationed them in eternity, and for age after age. He has established a precept, and it will not pass away.
7 Lodate il Signore dalla terra: voi mostri marini e tutti gli abissi;	7 Praise the Lord from the earth: you dragons and all deep places,
8 fuoco e grandine, neve e nebbia; vento di tempesta che adempie la sua parola.	8 fire, hail, snow, ice, windstorms, which do his word,
9 Voi monti e ogni specie di alture, alberi fruttiferi e tutti voi cedri.	9 mountains and all hills, fruitful trees and all cedars,
10 Voi fiere e ogni specie di bestiame, rettili e uccelli alati.	10 wild beasts and all cattle, serpents and feathered flying things,
11 Re della terra e voi popoli tutti, prìncipi e tutti voi, giudici della terra.	11 kings of the earth and all peoples, leaders and all judges of the earth,
12 Giovani e ragazze, vecchi e fanciulli:	12 young men and virgins. Let the older men with the younger men, praise the name of the Lord.
13 lodino il nome del Signore, poiché soltanto il suo nome è sublime, la sua maestà è sulla terra e nei cieli.	13 For his name alone is exalted.
14 Egli ha innalzato la potenza del suo popolo. Lode di tutti i suoi fedeli, i figli d'Israele, popolo che gli è vicino. Alleluia.	14 Confession of him is beyond heaven and earth, and he has exalted the horn of his people. A hymn to all his holy ones, to the sons of Israel, to a people close to him. Alleluia.
