Isaiah 52

1 Rise up, Rise up! Clothe yourself in strength, O Zion! Put on the garments of your glory, O Jerusalem, the city of the Holy One! For the uncircumcised and the unclean will no longer pass through you.	1 Lèvati suso, e vèstiti la tua fortezza, Sion; e vèstiti li vestimenti della tua gloria, tu Ierusalem, città di santo; però che non consentirà che passi per te lo incirconciso e l' uomo immondo.
2 Shake yourself from the dust! Arise and sit up, O Jerusalem! Loose the chains from your neck, O captive daughter of Zion!	2 Scuotiti la polvere, e lèvati suso, e siedi, tu Ierusalem; e sciogliti lo legame del tuo collo, tu figliuola di Sion, che se' prigione.
3 For thus says the Lord: You were sold for nothing, and you will be redeemed without money.	3 Però che questo dice lo Signore: voi siete venduti in dono, e sarete ricomperati sanza argento.
4 For thus says the Lord God: My people descended into Egypt, in the beginning, in order to sojourn there. But the Assyrian oppressed them, without any cause at all.	4 Però che questo dice lo Signore: lo mio populo scese in Egitto nel principio, acciò ch' elli potesse abitare ivi; e Assur sanza alcuna cagione gli fece calunnia.
5 And now, what is left for me here, says the Lord? For my people have been taken away without cause. Their lords treat them unjustly, says the Lord. And my name is being continually blasphemed all day long.	5 E ora che è questo a me? però che lo mio populo è tolto via in dono; li suoi signoreggiatori si portano malvagiamente, dice lo Signore, e bestemiano tutto di continuamente lo mio nome.
6 Because of this, my people will know my name, in that day. For it is I myself who is speaking. Behold, I am here.	6 E per questo lo mio populo saprà lo mio nome in quello dì; però ch' io medesimo, che parlava, sono presente.
7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of the messenger and the preacher of peace! Announcing good and preaching peace, they are saying to Zion, “Your God will reign!”	7 Però che belli sono li piedi dello annunciante sopra li monti e del predicante la pace, dello annunciante lo bene e predicante la salute, e dicente: o Sion, lo tuo Signore Iddio regnerà.
8 It is the voice of your watchmen. They have lifted up their voice. They will praise together. For they will see eye to eye, when the Lord converts Zion.	8 La voce delli tuoi guardiani (cioè delli torrigiani): levarono la voce, e diedono laude insieme; però che vederanno collo occhio all' occhio, quando lo Signore averà convertito Sion.
9 Be glad and rejoice together, O deserts of Jerusalem! For the Lord has consoled his people. He has redeemed Jerusalem.	9 Rallegratevi e lodate insieme, voi deserti di Ierusalem; però che lo Signore hae consolato il populo suo, e ricomperò Ierusalem.
10 The Lord has prepared his holy arm, in the sight of all the Gentiles. And all the ends of the earth will see the salvation of our God.	10 Preparò lo Signore lo suo santo braccio nelli occhi di tutte le genti; e vederanno tutte le fini della terra la salute del nostro Signore Iddio.
11 Depart, depart, get out of here! Do not be willing to touch what is polluted. Go out from her midst! Be cleansed, you who bear the vessels of the Lord.	11 Partitevi, e uscite indi, e non toccate lo corrotto; e uscite di mezzo di lui; nettatevi, voi i quali portate i vasi del Signore.
12 For you will not go out in a tumult, nor will you take flight in a hurry. For the Lord will precede you, and the God of Israel will gather you.	12 Però che non uscirete fuori nel tumulto, e non affretterete nella fuga, (quasi dica che debbono stare netti, acciò che non si bruttino e non vadano nella calca, acciò che non si guastino e non vadano in fuga, acciò che non caggiano); però che lo Signore anderà innanzi, e lo Signore Iddio d' Israel vi radunerà.
13 Behold, my servant will understand; he will be exalted and lifted up, and he will be very sublime.	13 Ecco che lo mio servo intenderà, e sarà esaltato e levato in alto.
14 Just as they were stupefied over you, so will his countenance be without glory among men, and his appearance, among the sons of men.	14 E sì come si maravigliarono di lui, così sarà tra li uomini più glorioso lo [suo] aspetto, e la sua forma tra li figliuoli degli uomini.
15 He will sprinkle many nations; kings will close their mouth because of him. And those to whom he was not described, have seen. And those who have not heard, have considered.	15 Questo bagnerà molte genti, e li re taceranno con la bocca loro sopra lui; però che coloro a' quali non è narrato di lui, questi vederono (di lui); e quelli che non l'udirono, lo contemplarono.
