Psalms 46

1 Unto the end. A Psalm for the sons of Korah.	1 Per la vittoria, alli figliuoli di Core.
2 All nations, clap your hands. Shout joyfully to God with a voice of exultation.	2 O voi tutte genti, rallegratevi colle mani; a Dio cantate colla voce di allegrezza.
3 For the Lord is exalted and terrible: a great King over all the earth.	3 Per che il Signore, eccelso, terribile: è re grande sopra ogni terra.
4 He has subjected the peoples to us and subdued the nations under our feet.	4 A noi ha soggiogato li popoli; e le genti sotto li nostri piedi.
5 He has chosen us for his inheritance: the splendor of Jacob, whom he has loved.	5 A noi ha eletto la sua eredità; bellezza di Iacob, la qual amò.
6 God ascends with jubilation, and the Lord with the voice of the trumpet.	6 Ascese Iddio col cantico; e il Signore colla voce della tuba.
7 Sing psalms to our God, sing psalms. Sing psalms to our King, sing psalms.	7 Con salmi laudate il nostro Iddio; salmeggiate; cantate al nostro re, cantate.
8 For God is the King of all the earth. Sing psalms wisely.	8 Però che il re di tutta la terra è Iddio; con sapienza salmeggiate.
9 God will reign over the peoples. God sits upon his holy throne.	9 Regnerà Iddio sopra le genti; Iddio sederà sopra la sedia sua santa.
10 The leaders of the peoples have been gathered together by the God of Abraham. For the strong gods of the earth have been exceedingly exalted.	10 Li principi del popolo sono raunati con il Dio di Abraam; perche li forti della terra grandemente sono insuperbiti.
