Deuteronomy 28

1 'But if you faithful y obey the voice of Yahweh your God, by keeping and observing al hiscommandments, which I am laying down for you today, Yahweh your God wil raise you higher than every othernation in the world,	1 Если ты, когда перейдете [за Иордан], будешь слушать гласа Господа Бога твоего, тщательно исполнять все заповеди Его, которые заповедую тебе сегодня, то Господь Бог твой поставит тебя выше всех народов земли;
2 and al these blessings wil befal and overtake you, for having obeyed the voice of Yahweh your God.	2 и придут на тебя все благословения сии и исполнятся на тебе, если будешь слушать гласа Господа, Бога твоего.
3 'You wil be blessed in the town and blessed in the countryside;	3 Благословен ты в городе и благословен на поле.
4 blessed, the offspring of your body, the yield of your soil, the yield of your livestock, the young of yourcattle and the increase of your flocks;	4 Благословен плод чрева твоего, и плод земли твоей, и плод скота твоего, и плод твоих волов, и плод овец твоих.
5 blessed, your basket and your kneading trough.	5 Благословенны житницы твои и кладовые твои.
6 You wil be blessed in coming home, and blessed in going out.	6 Благословен ты при входе твоем и благословен ты при выходе твоем.
7 The enemies who attack you, Yahweh wil defeat before your eyes; they wil advance on you from onedirection and flee from you in seven.	7 Поразит пред тобою Господь врагов твоих, восстающих на тебя; одним путем они выступят против тебя, а семью путями побегут от тебя.
8 Yahweh wil command blessedness to be with you, on your barns and on al your undertakings, andhe wil bless you in the country given you by Yahweh your God.	8 Пошлет Господь тебе благословение в житницах твоих и во всяком деле рук твоих; и благословит тебя на земле, которую Господь Бог твой дает тебе.
9 'From you Yahweh wil make a people consecrated to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you keep thecommandments of Yahweh your God and fol ow his ways.	9 Поставит тебя Господь народом святым Своим, как Он клялся тебе, если ты будешь соблюдать заповеди Господа Бога твоего и будешь ходить путями Его;
10 The peoples of the world, seeing that you bear Yahweh's name, wil al be afraid of you.	10 и увидят все народы земли, что имя Господа нарицается на тебе, и убоятся тебя.
11 Yahweh wil make you abound in possessions: in the offspring of your body, in the yield of your cattleand in the yield of your soil, in the country which he swore to your ancestors that he would give you.	11 И даст тебе Господь изобилие во всех благах, в плоде чрева твоего, и в плоде скота твоего, и в плоде полей твоих на земле, которую Господь клялся отцам твоим дать тебе.
12 For you Yahweh wil open his treasury of rain, the heavens, to give your country its rain at the righttime, and to bless al your labours. You wil make many nations your subjects, yet you wil be subject to none.	12 Откроет тебе Господь добрую сокровищницу Свою, небо, чтоб оно давало дождь земле твоей во время свое, и чтобы благословлять все дела рук твоих: и будешь давать взаймы многим народам, а сам не будешь брать взаймы.
13 Yahweh wil put you at the head, not at the tail; you wil always be on top and never underneath, ifyou listen to the commandments of Yahweh your God, which I am laying down for you today, and then keepthem and put them into practice,	13 Сделает тебя Господь главою, а не хвостом, и будешь только на высоте, а не будешь внизу, если будешь повиноваться заповедям Господа Бога твоего, которые заповедую тебе сегодня хранить и исполнять,
14 not deviating to right or to left from any of the words which I am laying down for you today, byfol owing other gods and serving them.	14 и не отступишь от всех слов, которые заповедую вам сегодня, ни направо ни налево, чтобы пойти вслед иных богов [и] служить им.
15 'But if you do not obey the voice of Yahweh your God, and do not keep and observe all hiscommandments and laws which I am laying down for you today then all these curses wil befall and overtakeyou.	15 Если же не будешь слушать гласа Господа Бога твоего и не будешь стараться исполнять все заповеди Его и постановления Его, которые я заповедую тебе сегодня, то придут на тебя все проклятия сии и постигнут тебя.
16 'You wil be accursed in the town and accursed in the countryside;	16 Проклят ты [будешь] в городе и проклят ты [будешь] на поле.
17 accursed, your basket and your kneading trough;	17 Прокляты [будут] житницы твои и кладовые твои.
18 accursed, the offspring of your body, the yield of your soil, the young of your cattle and the increaseof your flock.	18 Проклят [будет] плод чрева твоего и плод земли твоей, плод твоих волов и плод овец твоих.
19 You wil be accursed in coming home, and accursed in going out.	19 Проклят ты [будешь] при входе твоем и проклят при выходе твоем.
20 'Yahweh wil send a curse on you, a spel , an imprecation on al your labours until you have beendestroyed and quickly perish, because of your perverse behaviour, for having deserted me.	20 Пошлет Господь на тебя проклятие, смятение и несчастье во всяком деле рук твоих, какое ни станешь ты делать, доколе не будешь истреблен, --и ты скоро погибнешь за злые дела твои, за то, что ты оставил Меня.
21 Yahweh wil fasten the plague on you, until it has exterminated you from the country which you areabout to enter and make your own.	21 Пошлет Господь на тебя моровую язву, доколе не истребит Он тебя с земли, в которую ты идешь, чтобы владеть ею.
22 Yahweh wil strike you down with consumption, fever, inflammation, burning fever, drought, wind-blast, mildew, and these wil pursue you to your ruin.	22 Поразит тебя Господь чахлостью, горячкою, лихорадкою, воспалением, засухою, палящим ветром и ржавчиною, и они будут преследовать тебя, доколе не погибнешь.
23 The heavens above you wil be brass, the earth beneath you iron.	23 И небеса твои, которые над головою твоею, сделаются медью, и земля под тобою железом;
24 Your country's rain Yahweh wil turn into dust and sand; it will fal on you from the heavens until youperish.	24 вместо дождя Господь даст земле твоей пыль, и прах с неба будет падать, падать на тебя, доколе не будешь истреблен.
25 Yahweh wil have you defeated by your enemies; you will advance on them from one direction andflee from them in seven; and you wil be a terrifying object-lesson to al the kingdoms of the world.	25 Предаст тебя Господь на поражение врагам твоим; одним путем выступишь против них, а семью путями побежишь от них; и будешь рассеян по всем царствам земли.
26 Your carcase will be carrion for al wild birds and al wild animals, with no one to scare them away.	26 И будут трупы твои пищею всем птицам небесным и зверям, и не будет отгоняющего их.
27 'Yahweh wil strike you down with Egyptian ulcers, with swel ings in the groin, with scurvy and theitch, for which you wil find no cure.	27 Поразит тебя Господь проказою Египетскою, почечуем, коростою и чесоткою, от которых ты не возможешь исцелиться;
28 Yahweh wil strike you down with madness, blindness, distraction of mind,	28 поразит тебя Господь сумасшествием, слепотою и оцепенением сердца.
29 until you grope your way at noon like a blind man groping in the dark, and your steps will lead younowhere. 'You will never be anything but exploited and plundered, with no one to save you.	29 И ты будешь ощупью ходить в полдень, как слепой ощупью ходит впотьмах, и не будешь иметь успеха в путях твоих, и будут теснить и обижать тебя всякий день, и никто не защитит тебя.
30 Get engaged to a woman, another man will have her; build a house, you wil not live in it; plant avineyard, you wil not gather its first-fruits.	30 С женою обручишься, и другой будет спать с нею; дом построишь, и не будешь жить в нем; виноградник насадишь, и не будешь пользоваться им.
31 Your ox wil be slaughtered before your eyes and you will eat none of it; your donkey wil be carriedoff in front of you and not be returned to you; your sheep wil be given to your enemies, and no one will come toyour help.	31 Вола твоего заколют в глазах твоих, и не будешь есть его; осла твоего уведут от тебя и не возвратят тебе; овцы твои отданы будут врагам твоим, и никто не защитит тебя.
32 Your sons and daughters wil be handed over to another people, and every day you will wear youreyes out watching for them, while your hands are powerless.	32 Сыновья твои и дочери твои будут отданы другому народу; глаза твои будут видеть и всякий день истаевать о них, и не будет силы в руках твоих.
33 A nation hitherto unknown to you wil eat the yield of your soil and of all your hard work. You wilnever be anything but exploited and crushed.	33 Плоды земли твоей и все труды твои будет есть народ, которого ты не знал; и ты будешь только притесняем и мучим во все дни.
34 You wil be driven mad by the sights you wil see.	34 И сойдешь с ума от того, что будут видеть глаза твои.
35 Yahweh wil strike you down with foul ulcers on knee and leg, for which you wil find no cure -- fromthe sole of your foot to the top of your head.	35 Поразит тебя Господь злою проказою на коленях и голенях, от которой ты не возможешь исцелиться, от подошвы ноги твоей до самого темени [головы] твоей.
36 'Yahweh wil send away both you and the king whom you have appointed to rule you to a nationunknown either to you or to your ancestors, and there you will serve other gods, made of wood and stone.	36 Отведет Господь тебя и царя твоего, которого ты поставишь над собою, к народу, которого не знал ни ты, ни отцы твои, и там будешь служить иным богам, деревянным и каменным;
37 And you wil be the astonishment, the byword, the laughing-stock of al the peoples where Yahweh istaking you.	37 и будешь ужасом, притчею и посмешищем у всех народов, к которым отведет тебя Господь.
38 'You wil cast seed in plenty on the fields but harvest little, since the locust wil devour it.	38 Семян много вынесешь в поле, а соберешь мало, потому что поест их саранча.
39 You wil plant and till your vineyards but not drink the wine or gather the grapes, since the grub willeat them up.	39 Виноградники будешь садить и возделывать, а вина не будешь пить, и не соберешь [плодов их], потому что поест их червь.
40 You wil grow olive trees throughout your territory but not anoint yourself with the oil, since your olivetrees wil be cut down.	40 Маслины будут у тебя во всех пределах твоих, но елеем не помажешься, потому что осыплется маслина твоя.
41 You wil father sons and daughters but they will not belong to you, since they wil go into captivity.	41 Сынов и дочерей родишь, но их не будет у тебя, потому что пойдут в плен.
42 Al your trees and the whole yield of your soil will be the prey of insects.	42 Все дерева твои и плоды земли твоей погубит ржавчина.
43 'The foreigners living with you wil rise higher and higher at your expense, while you yourself sinklower and lower.	43 Пришелец, который среди тебя, будет возвышаться над тобою выше и выше, а ты опускаться будешь ниже и ниже;
44 You wil be subject to them, not they to you; they wil be the ones at the head, and you the one at thetail.	44 он будет давать тебе взаймы, а ты не будешь давать ему взаймы; он будет главою, а ты будешь хвостом.
45 'Al these curses wil befal you, pursue you and overtake you until you have been destroyed, for nothaving obeyed the voice of Yahweh your God by keeping his commandments and laws which he has laid downfor you.	45 И придут на тебя все проклятия сии, и будут преследовать тебя и постигнут тебя, доколе не будешь истреблен, за то, что ты не слушал гласа Господа Бога твоего и не соблюдал заповедей Его и постановлений Его, которые Он заповедал тебе:
46 They wil be a sign and a wonder over you and your descendants for ever.	46 они будут знамением и указанием на тебе и на семени твоем вовек.
47 'For not having joyful y and with happy heart served Yahweh your God, despite the abundance ofeverything,	47 За то, что ты не служил Господу Богу твоему с веселием и радостью сердца, при изобилии всего,
48 you will have to serve the enemy whom Yahweh wil send against you, in hunger, thirst, lack ofclothing and total privation. He will put an iron yoke on your neck, until he has destroyed you.	48 будешь служить врагу твоему, которого пошлет на тебя Господь, в голоде, и жажде, и наготе и во всяком недостатке; он возложит на шею твою железное ярмо, так что измучит тебя.
49 'Against you Yahweh wil raise a distant nation from the ends of the earth like an eagle taking wing: anation whose language you do not understand,	49 Пошлет на тебя Господь народ издалека, от края земли: как орел налетит народ, которого языка ты не разумеешь,
50 a nation grim of face, with neither respect for the old, nor pity for the young.	50 народ наглый, который не уважит старца и не пощадит юноши;
51 He wil eat the yield of your cattle and the yield of your soil until you have been destroyed; he willleave you neither wheat, nor wine, nor oil, nor the young of your cattle, nor increase of your flock, until he hasmade an end of you.	51 и будет он есть плод скота твоего и плод земли твоей, доколе не разорит тебя, так что не оставит тебе ни хлеба, ни вина, ни елея, ни плода волов твоих, ни плода овец твоих, доколе не погубит тебя;
52 He wil besiege you inside al your towns until your loftiest and most strongly fortified walls collapse,on which, throughout your country, you have relied. He wil besiege you inside al the towns throughout yourcountry, given you by Yahweh your God.	52 и будет теснить тебя во всех жилищах твоих, доколе во всей земле твоей не разрушит высоких и крепких стен твоих, на которые ты надеешься; и будет теснить тебя во всех жилищах твоих, во всей земле твоей, которую Господь Бог твой дал тебе.
53 During the siege and in the distress to which your enemy wil reduce you, you wil eat the offspring ofyour own body, the flesh of the sons and daughters given you by Yahweh your God.	53 И ты будешь есть плод чрева твоего, плоть сынов твоих и дочерей твоих, которых Господь Бог твой дал тебе, в осаде и в стеснении, в котором стеснит тебя враг твой.
54 The gentlest and tenderest of your men wil scowl at his brother, and at the wife whom he embraces,and at his remaining children,	54 Муж, изнеженный и живший между вами в великой роскоши, безжалостным оком будет смотреть на брата своего, на жену недра своего и на остальных детей своих, которые останутся у него,
55 not wil ing to give any of them any of his own children's flesh, which he is eating; because of thesiege and the distress to which your enemy wil reduce you in all your towns, he wil have nothing left.	55 и не даст ни одному из них плоти детей своих, которых он будет есть, потому что у него не останется ничего в осаде и в стеснении, в котором стеснит тебя враг твой во всех жилищах твоих.
56 The most refined and fastidious of your women, so refined, so fastidious that she has never venturedto set the sole of her foot to the ground, wil scowl at the husband whom she embraces, and at her son anddaughter, and at the after-birth when it leaves her womb, and at the child to which she has given birth-	56 [Женщина] жившая у тебя в неге и роскоши, которая никогда ноги своей не ставила на землю по причине роскоши и изнеженности, будет безжалостным оком смотреть на мужа недра своего и на сына своего и на дочь свою
57 she will hide away and eat them, so complete wil be the starvation resulting from the siege and thedistress to which your enemy wil reduce you in all your towns.	57 и [не даст] им последа, выходящего из среды ног ее, и детей, которых она родит; потому что она, при недостатке во всем, тайно будет есть их, в осаде и стеснении, в котором стеснит тебя враг твой в жилищах твоих.
58 'If you do not keep and observe al the words of this Law, which are written in this book, in the fear ofthis glorious and awe-inspiring name: Yahweh your God,	58 Если не будешь стараться исполнять все слова закона сего, написанные в книге сей, и не будешь бояться сего славного и страшного имени Господа Бога твоего,
59 Yahweh wil strike you down with monstrous plagues, you and your descendants: with plaguesgrievous and lasting, diseases pernicious and enduring.	59 то Господь поразит тебя и потомство твое необычайными язвами, язвами великими и постоянными, и болезнями злыми и постоянными;
60 He wil afflict you with al the maladies of Egypt which you used to dread, and they wil fasten on you.	60 и наведет на тебя все язвы Египетские, которых ты боялся, и они прилипнут к тебе;
61 What is more, Yahweh wil afflict you with all the plagues and all the diseases not mentioned in thebook of this Law, until you have been destroyed.	61 и всякую болезнь и всякую язву, не написанную в книге закона сего, Господь наведет на тебя, доколе не будешь истреблен;
62 There will only be a smal group of you left, you who were once as numerous as the stars of heaven.'For not having obeyed the voice of Yahweh your God,	62 и останется вас немного, тогда как множеством вы подобны были звездам небесным, ибо ты не слушал гласа Господа Бога твоего.
63 just as Yahweh used to delight in making you happy and in making your numbers grow, so wil hetake delight in ruining you and destroying you. You wil be torn from the country which you are about to enter andmake your own.	63 И как радовался Господь, делая вам добро и умножая вас, так будет радоваться Господь, погубляя вас и истребляя вас, и извержены будете из земли, в которую ты идешь, чтобы владеть ею.
64 Yahweh wil scatter you throughout every people, from one end of the earth to the other; there youwil serve other gods made of wood and stone, hitherto unknown either to you or to your ancestors.	64 И рассеет тебя Господь по всем народам, от края земли до края земли, и будешь там служить иным богам, которых не знал ни ты, ни отцы твои, дереву и камням.
65 Among these nations there wil be no repose for you, no rest for the sole of your foot; there Yahwehwil give you a quaking heart, weary eyes, halting breath.	65 Но и между этими народами не успокоишься, и не будет места покоя для ноги твоей, и Господь даст тебе там трепещущее сердце, истаевание очей и изнывание души;
66 Your life ahead of you wil hang in doubt; you wil be afraid day and night, uncertain of your life.	66 жизнь твоя будет висеть пред тобою, и будешь трепетать ночью и днем, и не будешь уверен в жизни твоей;
67 In the morning you wil say, "How I wish it were evening!", and in the evening you will say, "How I wish it were morning!", such terror will grip your heart and such sights you wil see!	67 от трепета сердца твоего, которым ты будешь объят, и от того, что ты будешь видеть глазами твоими, утром ты скажешь: 'о, если бы пришел вечер!', а вечером скажешь: 'о, если бы наступило утро!'
68 Yahweh wil send you back to Egypt, either by ship or by a road which I promised you would neversee again. And there you wil want to offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as serving men and women, butno one wil buy you.'	68 и возвратит тебя Господь в Египет на кораблях тем путем, о котором я сказал тебе: 'ты более не увидишь его'; и там будете продаваться врагам вашим в рабов и в рабынь, и не будет покупающего.
69 These are the words of the covenant which Yahweh ordered Moses to make with the Israelites inMoab, in addition to the covenant which he had made with them at Horeb.
