NEW JERUSALEM	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 Solomon then began building the house of Yahweh in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah where David hisfather had had a vision -- on the site which David had prepared -- on the threshing-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.	1 وشرع سليمان في بناء بيت الرب في اورشليم في جبل المريّا حيث تراءى لداود ابيه حيث هيّأ داود مكانا في بيدر ارنان اليبوسي.
2 He began building it on the second day of the second month of the fourth year of his reign.	2 وشرع في البناء في ثاني الشهر الثاني في السنة الرابعة لملكه.
3 These are the dimensions which Solomon fixed for the structure of the house of God: its length incubits, according to the old standard, was sixty cubits and its width twenty cubits;	3 وهذه اسّسها سليمان لبناء بيت الله الطول بالذراع على القياس الاول ستون ذراعا والعرض عشرون ذراعا.
4 and the portico in front of the house was the ful width of the house, that is, twenty cubits, and its heightwas a hundred and twenty cubits; on the inside he overlaid it with pure gold.	4 والرواق الذي قدام الطول حسب عرض البيت عشرون ذراعا وارتفاعه مئة وعشرون وغشّاه من داخل بذهب خالص.
5 The Great Hall he lined with juniper, which he overlaid with fine gold and ornamented with palm treesand festoons,	5 والبيت العظيم غشّاه بخشب سرو غشّاه بذهب خالص. وجعل عليه نخيلا وسلاسل.
6 and he decorated the hall beautifully with precious stones and with gold from Parvaim,	6 ورصّع البيت بحجارة كريمة للجمال. والذهب ذهب فروايم.
7 overlaying the hal , its beams and its thresholds, its walls and its doors, with gold and engraving thewal s with great winged creatures.	7 وغشّى البيت اخشابه واعتابه وحيطانه ومصاريعه بذهب ونقش كروبيم على الحيطان
8 He also made the Holy of Holies, the length of which corresponded to the width of the Great Hal , beingtwenty cubits, with a width of twenty cubits, and this he overlaid with fine gold weighing six hundred talents,	8 وعمل بيت قدس الاقداس طوله حسب عرض البيت عشرون ذراعا وعرضه عشرون ذراعا وغشّاه بذهب جيّد ست مئة وزنة.
9 while the weight of the gold nails was fifty shekels. He also overlaid the upper rooms with gold.	9 وكان وزن المسامير خمسين شاقلا من ذهب وغشّى العلالي بذهب
10 In the Holy of Holies he model ed two winged creatures of wrought metal work and overlaid them withgold.	10 وعمل في بيت قدس الاقداس كروبين صناعة الصياغة وغشّاهما بذهب.
11 The total span of their wings was twenty cubits; one wing, being five cubits long, touched the wal ofthe house and the other wing, being five cubits long, touched the wing of the other winged creature;	11 واجنحة الكروبين طولها عشرون ذراعا الجناح الواحد خمس اذرع يمسّ حائط البيت والجناح الآخر خمس اذرع يمسّ جناح الكروب الآخر.
12 while one wing of the other, five cubits long, touched the other wall of the house and the other wing,five cubits long, touched the wing of the other winged creature.	12 وجناح الكروب الآخر خمس اذرع يمسّ حائط البيت والجناح الآخر خمس اذرع يتّصل بجناح الكروب الآخر.
13 The spread of these creatures' wings was twenty cubits. They stood in an upright position, with theirfaces towards the Hall.	13 واجنحة هذين الكروبين منبسطة عشرون ذراعا وهما واقفان على ارجلهما ووجههما الى داخل
14 He also made the Curtain of violet, scarlet, crimson and fine linen, working a design of wingedcreatures on it.	14 وعمل الحجاب من اسمانجوني وارجوان وقرمز وكتان وجعل عليه كروبيم.
15 In front of the Hal he made two pil ars thirty-five cubits high, and on the top of each a capitalmeasuring five cubits.	15 وعمل امام البيت عمودين طولهما خمس وثلاثون ذراعا والتاجان اللذان على راسيهما خمس اذرع.
16 He made festoons, in the Debir, to go at the tops of the pil ars, and made a hundred pomegranates togo on the festoons.	16 وعمل سلاسل كما في المحراب وجعلها على راسي العمودين وعمل مئة رمانة وجعلها في السلاسل.
17 He erected the pil ars in front of the Temple, one on the right, the other on the left; the one on the righthe cal ed Jachin and the one on the left, Boaz.	17 واوقف العمودين امام الهيكل واحدا عن اليمين وواحدا عن اليسار ودعا اسم الأيمن ياكين واسم الأيسر بوعز
