1 As regards his palace, Solomon spent thirteen years on it before the building was completed.	1 A maga házán pedig tizenhárom esztendeig építkezett Salamon, amíg teljesen befejezte.
2 He built the House of the Forest of Lebanon, a hundred cubits long, fifty cubits wide, and thirty cubitshigh, on four rows of cedar-wood pil ars,	2 Megépíttette ugyanis a Libanon erdejének száz könyöknyi hosszú, ötven könyöknyi széles és harminc könyöknyi magas házát és cédrusfa oszlopok között levő négy folyosóját – cédrusfából vágatta ugyanis az oszlopokat –,
3 with lengths of cedar wood laid horizontal y on the pil ars. The upper part was panel ed with cedar rightdown to the tie-beams on forty-five pillars, fifteen in each row.	3 aztán cédrusfa deszkázattal befedette az egész tetőzetet. Utóbbit negyvenöt oszlop tartotta. Egy-egy sorban tizenöt oszlop volt.
4 There were three rows of window-frames, with the windows corresponding to one another at threelevels.	4 Ezek egymással szemben helyezkedtek el,
5 Al the doorways and windows were rectangular, with the windows corresponding to one another atthree levels.	5 és egymásra néztek; az oszlopok között egyenlő közök, az oszlopok felett pedig négyszögletes, mindenben egyenlő gerendák voltak.
6 He also made the Colonnade, fifty cubits long and thirty cubits broad, with a cornice in front.	6 Csináltatott továbbá egy ötven könyöknyi hosszú és harminc könyöknyi széles oszlopcsarnokot s e nagyobbik csarnok elé egy másik csarnokot és oszlopokat s az oszlopokra gerendázatot.
7 He also made the Hal of the Throne where he used to dispense justice, that is, the Hal of Justice; it waspanel ed in cedar from floor to beams.	7 Csináltatott továbbá egy tróncsarnokot az ítélőszék elhelyezésére és beborította cédrusfával a padlótól a mennyezetig.
8 His own living quarters, in the other court and inwards from the Hal , were of the same construction. Andthere was a house similar to this Hal for Pharaoh's daughter whom he had taken in marriage.	8 Az a ház, amelyben ítéletre ültek, a csarnok közepén volt, s ugyanígy készült; csináltatott továbbá egy házat a fáraó lányának (akit Salamon feleségül vett) ugyanolyan módon, mint e csarnokot.
9 Al these buildings were of special stones cut to measure, trimmed on the inner and outer sides with thesaw, from the foundations to the coping-	9 Mindez értékes, belül-kívül megfelelő formára és méretre fűrészelt kövekből készült az alaptól a falak tetejéig s kívülről a nagy udvarig.
10 the foundations were of special stones, huge stones, of ten and eight cubits,	10 Az alap is értékes kövekből volt: nagy, tíz- vagy nyolc könyöknyi kövekből,
11 and, above these, special stones, cut to measure, and cedar wood-	11 s igazán értékes, ugyanilyen méretű faragott kövek, valamint cédrusfák voltak.
12 and, on the outside, the great court had three courses of dressed stone round it and one course ofcedar beams; so also had the inner court of the Temple of Yahweh and the vestibule of the Temple.	12 A nagy udvart három sor faragott kő és egy sor faragott cédrusfa kerítette, ugyanígy volt az Úr házának belső udvarával s a ház csarnokával is.
13 King Solomon sent for Hiram of Tyre;	13 Elküldött továbbá Salamon király és elhozatta Tíruszból Hírámot.
14 he was the son of a widow of the tribe of Naphtali, but his father had been a Tyrian, a bronzeworker.He was a highly intel igent craftsman, skil ed in al types of bronzework. He came to King Solomon and did althis work for him.	14 Ez egy Naftali törzséből való özvegyasszonynak volt a fia, de tíruszi apától származott; rézműves volt és tökéletes műérzékkel, hozzáértéssel és ügyességgel tudott mindenféle rézmunkát végezni. El is jött Salamon királyhoz és elkészítette minden művét.
15 He cast the two bronze pillars; the height of one pil ar was eighteen cubits, and a cord twelve cubitslong gave the measurement of its girth; so also was the second pil ar.	15 Alkotott ugyanis két rézoszlopot; tizennyolc könyöknyi magas volt egy-egy oszlop, s tizenkét könyöknyi zsinór érte körül mindegyik oszlopot.
16 He made two capitals of cast bronze for the tops of the pil ars; the height of one capital was five cubits,and the height of the other five cubits.	16 Majd két, rézből öntött oszlopfőt készített, hogy azokat az oszlopok tetejére helyezze – öt könyöknyi magas volt az egyik oszlopfő és öt könyöknyi magas volt a másik oszlopfő –,
17 He made two sets of filigree to cover the moulding of the two capitals surmounting the pil ars, onefiligree for one capital and one filigree for the other.	17 és csodás munkával egybefont láncocskákból hálószerű díszeket készített rájuk. Mindkét oszlopfő öntött volt; hét rend hálózat volt az egyik oszlopfőn és hét hálózat a másik oszlopfőn.
18 He also made pomegranates: two rows of them round each filigree,four hundred in al ,	18 Amikor aztán elkészítette az oszlopokat, két sor gránátalmát tett mindegyik hálózat köré, úgy, hogy az befedje a fönt levő oszlopfőket; ugyanígy tett a másik oszlopfővel is.
19 The capitals surrounding the pil ars were lily-shaped.	19 Azok az oszlopfők, amelyek az előcsarnokban, az oszlopok legtetején voltak, négy könyöknyi liliomszerű művet alkottak;
20 applied on the raised moulding behind the filigree; there were two hundred pomegranates round onecapital and the same round the other capital.	20 az oszlopok legtetején ugyanis, fönn, a hálózattal szemben levő oszlopdomborulat mellett újabb oszlopfők voltak. Gránátalma kétszáz volt sorban körös-körül mindkét oszlopfőn.
21 He erected the pil ars in front of the portico of the Temple, he erected the right-hand pil ar and named itJachin; he erected the left-hand pil ar and named it Boaz.	21 Majd felállította a két oszlopot a templom csarnokában, s miután felállította a jobb oszlopot, elnevezte azt Jákinnak, majd felállította a másik oszlopot is, s azt elnevezte Boáznak –
22 Thus, the work on the pillars was completed.	22 liliomszerű művet helyezett az oszlopok tetejére –, s elkészült az oszlopok műve.
23 He made the Sea of cast metal, ten cubits from rim to rim, circular in shape and five cubits high; a cordthirty cubits long gave the measurement of its girth.	23 Megcsinálta továbbá az öntött tengert: tíz könyöknyi volt az egyik szélétől a másik széléig, körös-körül kerek, öt könyöknyi a magassága, s harminc könyöknyi zsinór érte körül.
24 Under its rim and completely encircling it were gourds surrounding the Sea; over a length of thirtycubits the gourds were in two rows, of one and the same casting with the rest.	24 A pereme alatt metszetek övezték: könyökönként tíz-tíz vette körül a tengert, két sor domború, öntött metszet volt rajta.
25 It rested on twelve oxen, three facing north, three facing west, three facing south, three facing east; onthese, their hindquarters al turned inwards, stood the Sea.	25 Tizenkét szarvasmarhán állt; ezek közül három északra nézett, három nyugatra, három délre és három keletre; a tenger fönn, rajtuk volt; hátsó része mindegyiknek befelé volt és nem látszott.
26 It was a hand's breadth in thickness, and its rim was shaped like the rim of a cup, lily-shaped. It couldhold two thousand measures.	26 A medence vastagsága három hüvelyk volt, pereme olyan, mint a serleg pereme vagy a kinyílt liliom pártája; kétezer bát fért bele.
27 He made the ten bronze stands; each stand was four cubits long, four cubits wide, and three high.	27 Készített továbbá tíz rézállványt: mindegyik állványnak négy könyöknyi volt a hossza, négy könyöknyi a szélessége és három könyöknyi a magassága.
28 They were designed as fol ows; they had an undercarriage and crosspieces to the undercarriage.	28 Maga az állvány műve átszegett volt, s a keretlécek között metszetek voltak.
29 On the crosspieces of the undercarriage were lions and bul s and winged creatures, and on top of theundercarriage was a support; under the lions and oxen there were scrolls in the style of. . .	29 A párkányzatok és az oldallécek között, valamint a felső keretléceken oroszlánok, szarvasmarhák és kerubok voltak, az oroszlánok és szarvasmarhák alatt pedig rézrojtok függtek.
30 Each stand had four bronze wheels with bronze axles; its four feet had shoulderings under the basin,and the shoulderings were cast. . .	30 Mindegyik állványon négy kerék volt: tengelyeik is rézből készültek; négy sarkukon, az üst alatt, egymással szembenéző, öntött vállacskák voltak.
31 Its mouth measured one and a half cubits from where the shoulderings met to the top; its mouth wasround like a stand for a vessel, and on the mouth there were engravings too; the crosspieces, however, wererectangular and not round.	31 Az üst ágya fenn, a korona belsejében volt; az, ami ebből kívülről látszott, egészen kerek, egy könyöknyi, mindenestül másfél könyöknyi volt. A keretlécek lapjain mindenféle metszetek voltak, s az, ami a keretlécek között volt, négyszögű volt, nem kerek.
32 The four wheels were under the crosspieces. The axles of the wheels were inside the stands; theheight of the wheels was one and a half cubits.	32 A négy kerék, amely az állvány négy sarkán volt, az állvány alatt állt kapcsolatban egymással; egy-egy kerék másfél könyök magas volt.
33 The wheels were designed like chariot wheels: their axles, felloes, spokes and naves had al been cast.	33 Olyanok voltak a kerekek, mint amilyeneket a szekerekre szoktak csinálni, de tengelyük, küllőjük, talpuk és agyuk mind öntött volt.
34 There were four shoulderings at the four corners of each stand: the stand and the shoulderings were alof a piece.	34 Az a négy vállacska, amely mindegyik állvány minden sarkán volt, egy darabba volt öntve és készítve az állvánnyal.
35 At the top of the stand there was a support, circular in shape and half a cubit high; and on top of thestand there were lugs. The crosspieces were of a piece with the stand.	35 Az állvány tetején egy fél könyöknyi domborulat volt, úgy készítve, hogy az üstöt rá lehessen helyezni; vésetei és különböző metszetei belőle magából kerültek ki.
36 On the bands he engraved winged creatures and lions and palm leaves. . . and scrol s right round.	36 A réztáblákra és a keretlécekre kerubokat, oroszlánokat és pálmákat metszett, szinte úgy, mint ahogy az ember áll, úgyhogy nem látszottak metszetteknek, hanem körös-körül odarakottaknak.
37 He made the ten stands like this: the same casting and the same measurements for all.	37 Így készítette el a tíz állványt egyenlő öntéssel, mérettel és egyenlő metszetekkel.
38 He made ten bronze basins; each basin held forty measures and each basin measured four cubits, onebasin to each of the ten stands.	38 Csinált továbbá tíz rézüstöt: negyven bát fért egy üstbe, s négy könyöknyi volt mindegyik, s rátett mindegyik állványra, azaz mind a tízre, egy-egy üstöt.
39 He arranged the stands, five on the right-hand side of the Temple, five on the left-hand side of theTemple; the Sea he placed on the right-hand side of the Temple, to the south east.	39 Aztán elhelyezte a tíz állványt: ötöt a templom jobb oldalára, ötöt a bal oldalára – a templom jobb oldalára, délkeletre pedig elhelyezte a tengert.
40 Hiram made the ash containers, the scoops and the sprinkling bowls. He finished all the work that hedid for King Solomon on the Temple of Yahweh:	40 Majd elkészítette Hírám a medencéket, a csészéket s a lapátokat, s így elvégezte Salamon király egész munkáját az Úr templomában:
41 Two pil ars; the two mouldings of the capitals surrounding the pil ars; the two sets of filigree to coverthe two mouldings of the capitals surmounting the pil ars;	41 a két oszlopot meg a két, gömbszerű oszlopfőt a két oszlop tetejére, meg a két hálózatot az oszlopok tetején levő két gömb befedésére,
42 the four hundred pomegranates for the two sets of filigree -- two rows of pomegranates for each set offiligree;	42 meg a négyszáz gránátalmát a két hálózatra, a két sor gránátalmát mindegyik hálózatra, az oszlopok tetején levő két gömb befedésére,
43 the ten stands and the ten basins on the stands;	43 meg a tíz állványt és a tíz üstöt a tíz állványra,
44 the one Sea and the twelve oxen beneath the Sea;	44 meg az egy tengert s a tizenkét szarvasmarhát a tenger alá,
45 the ash containers, the scoops, and sprinkling bowls. All these objects made by Hiram for KingSolomon for the Temple of Yahweh were of burnished bronze.	45 meg a medencéket, meg a csészéket, meg a lapátokat. Minden tárgy, amelyet Hírám Salamon királynak az Úr háza számára készített, tiszta rézből volt.
46 He made them by the process of sand casting, in the plain of the Jordan between Succoth andZarethan.	46 A Jordán síkján öntette őket a király, agyagos földben, Szukkót és Szártán között.
47 There were so many of them, that the weight of the bronze was never calculated.	47 Aztán elhelyezte Salamon mindezeket a tárgyakat: nagyon nagy mennyisége miatt meg sem mérték a rezet.
48 Solomon made all the objects designed for the Temple of Yahweh: the golden altar and the gold tablefor the loaves of permanent offering;	48 Elkészíttetett továbbá Salamon minden egyéb tárgyat is az Úr háza számára: az arany oltárt, az arany asztalt a kiteendő kenyerek elhelyezésére,
49 the lamp-stands, five on the right and five on the left in front of the Debir, of pure gold; the floral work,the lamps, the tongs, of gold;	49 az arany mécstartókat, ötöt jobbra, ötöt balra a felelőhely elé, színaranyból, s rájuk liliom formájú virágokat s arany mécseseket, meg az arany hamuszedőket,
50 the basins, the snuffers, the sprinkling bowls, the incense ladles and the pans, of real gold; the doorpanels -- for the inner shrine -- that is, the Holy of Holies -- and for the Hekal, of gold.	50 továbbá a vödröket, a villákat, a csészéket, a mozsárkákat és a tömjénezőket, színaranyból; a belső háznak, a szentek szentjének ajtósarkai s a templomháznak ajtósarkai is aranyból voltak.
51 Thus al the work done by King Solomon for the Temple of Yahweh was completed, and Solomonbrought in the gifts which his father David had consecrated; and he had the silver, the gold and the utensils putinto the treasuries of the Temple of Yahweh.	51 Amikor elkészült az egész munka, amelyet Salamon az Úr háza számára csináltatott, Salamon bevitte azt, amit apja, Dávid az Úrnak szentelt, az ezüstöt, az aranyat és az egyéb tárgyakat és elhelyezte az Úr házának kincsei közé.
