1 Salmo di Davidde. Del Signore ell'è la terra, e tutto quello, che la riempie; il mondo, e tutti i suoi abitatori.	1 For the First Sabbath. A Psalm of David. The earth and all its fullness belong to the Lord: the whole world and all that dwells in it.
2 Imperocché egli la fondò superiore ai mari, e al di sopra de' fiumi la collocò.	2 For he has founded it upon the seas, and he has prepared it upon the rivers.
3 Chi salirà al monte del Signore, o chi starà nel suo santuario?	3 Who will ascend to the mountain of the Lord? And who will stand in his holy place?
4 Colui, che ha pure le mani, e il cuore mondo, e non ha ricevuta in vano l'anima sua, e non ha fatto giuramento al suo prossimo per ingannarlo.	4 The innocent of hands and the clean of heart, who has not received his soul in vain, nor sworn deceitfully to his neighbor.
5 Questi avrà benedizione dal Signore, e misericordia da Dio su« Salva tore.	5 He will receive a blessing from the Lord, and mercy from God, his Saviour.
6 Tale è la stirpe di coloro, che lo cercano, di coloro, che cercano la faccia del Dio di Giacobbe.	6 This is the generation that seeks him, that seeks the face of the God of Jacob.
7 Alzate, o prìncipi, le vostre porte, e alzatevi voi, porte dell'eternità; ed entrerà il Re della gloria.	7 Lift up your gates, you princes, and be lifted up, eternal gates. And the King of Glory shall enter.
8 Chi è questo He della gloria? il Signore forte, e potente, il Signore potente nelle battaglie.	8 Who is this King of Glory? The Lord who is strong and powerful; the Lord powerful in battle.
9 Alzate, o principi, le vostre porte e alzatevi voi, porte dell'eternità; ed entrerà il Re della gloria.	9 Lift up your gates, you princes, and be lifted up, eternal gates. And the King of Glory shall enter.
10 Chi è questo Re della gloria? il Signore degli eserciti egli è il Re della gloria.	10 Who is this King of Glory? The Lord of virtue. He himself is the King of Glory.
