1 And the LORD spake unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,	1 Parlò Iddio a Moisè nello diserto di Sinai nel tabernacolo del patto, il primo dì del mese secondo, nell'altro anno ch' erano usciti d'Egitto; e disse (lo Signore):
2 Take ye the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;	2 Togliete una quantità di ogni gente de' figliuoli d'Israel, per ogni casa e congregazione loro, e tutti i nomi d'ogni maschio,
3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: thou and Aaron shall number them by their armies.	3 da XX in su, che sia forte fra i figliuoli d'Israel; e annumeraretegli tutti quanti per le loro turme, tue e Aaron.
4 And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.	4 Saranno tutti i principi delle tribù e delle case, secondo le loro generazioni, con voi.
5 And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.	5 E questi sono i loro nomi: (Della tribù) di Ruben, Elisur figliuolo di Sedeur.
6 Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.	6 (Della tribù, cioè della schiatta) di Simeon, Salamiel figliuolo di Surisaddai.
7 Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.	7 Di Giuda, Naasson figliuolo di Aminadab.
8 Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.	8 D’Issacar, Natanael figliuolo di Suar.
9 Of Zebulun; Eliab the son of Helon.	9 Di Zabulon, Eliab figliuolo di Elon.
10 Of the children of Joseph: of Ephraim; Elishama the son of Ammihud: of Manasseh; Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.	10 Ma de' figliuoli di Iosef, di Efraim, Elisama figliuolo di Amiud. Di Manasse, Gamaliel figliuolo di Fadassur.
11 Of Benjamin; Abidan the son of Gideoni.	11 Di Beniamin, Abida figliuolo di Gedeone.
12 Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.	12 Di Dan, Aiezer figliuolo di Amisaddai.

14 Of Gad; Eliasaph the son of Deuel.	14 Di Gad, Eliasaffigliuolo di Duel.
15 Of Naphtali; Ahira the son of Enan.	15 Di Neftali, Aira figliuolo di Enan.
16 These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.	16 E questi sono i nobilissimi principi della moltitudine per tutte le tribù e loro cognazioni, e capi dello esercito d'Israel.
17 And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by their names:	17 Li quali sì gli pigliò Moisè e Aaron con grande moltitudine di popolo (e congregazioni).
18 And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their pedigrees after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.	18 E raunaronsi lo primo dì del mese secondo, rassegnandoli per tutte le schiatte e per tutte le case e per tutte le famiglie e capi loro, e tutti i nomi di ciascuno da XX anni in su,
19 As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.	19 siccome comando Iddio a Moisè. E annumerogli nel deserto di Sinai.
20 And the children of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	20 E di Ruben primogenito d'Israel, per tutte le sue generazioni e case e famiglie e nomi de capi loro, di maschi da XX anni in su, che andare poteano a battaglia, furono
21 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.	21 xLvi migliaia e CCCCC.
22 Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	22 E de' figliuoli di Simeon, per tutte le sue generazioni e famiglie e case, e di tutta sua schiatta che maschi fossero e che a battaglia potessero andare, da XX anni in su (e numerò loro furono
23 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.	23 LvIII migliaia e CCC.
24 Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	24 De' figliuoli di Gad, per tutte le sue generazioni e schiatte e case e famiglie, da XX anni in su, che andare potessero a battaglia e che maschi fossero (e numerò loro) furono
25 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.	25 xLv migliaia e DCL.
26 Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	26 De ' figliuoli di Giuda, per tutte le sue generazioni, schiatte e case e famiglie, che maschi fossero da XX anni in su, che a battaglia potessero andare,
27 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.	27 ne sono numerati LXXIIII migliaia e DC.
28 Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	28 E de' figliuoli d'Issacar, per tutte le sue generazioni e case e famiglie, (che maschi fossero) da XX anni in su, che a battaglia potessero andare,
29 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.	29 ne sono usciti LIIII miglia e CCCC.
30 Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	30 De' figliuoli di Zabulon, per tutte le sue generazioni e schiatte e famiglie e case, da XX anni in su, che (fosse maschio e che) a battaglia potesse andare, ne sono usciti
31 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.	31 LvII migliaia e CCCC.
32 Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	32 De ' figliuoli di Iosef, (figliuolo) de' figliuoli di Efraim, per tutte le sue generazioni e famiglie e case delle loro cognazioni, da XX anni in su, che (maschio fosse e che) a battaglia potesse andare, ne sono usciti
33 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.	33 xL migliaia cinquecento.
34 Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	34 De ' figliuoli di Manasse, per tutte le sue generazioni e case e famiglie e tutte sue cogna zioni (che fossero maschii) ne sono numerati, da venti anni in su e che a battaglia potessero andare,
35 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.	35 XXXII migliaia e CC.
36 Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	36 De' figliuoli di Beniamin, per tutte le sue generazioni e famiglie e case, da venti anni in su, che a battaglia potessero andare, ne sono numerati
37 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.	37 XXXV miglia e CCCC.
38 Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	38 De' figliuoli di Dan, per tutte le sue generazioni e famiglie e case, da venti anni in su, per li nomi di ciascuno, che a battaglia potessero andare, ne sono usciti
39 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.	39 XLII migliaia e settecento.
40 Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	40 E de' figliuoli di Aser, per tutte le sue generazioni e famiglie e case, da venti anni in su, e che a battaglia potessero andare, ne sono usciti, per li nomi di ciascuno,
41 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.	41 XL migliaia e mille cinquecento.
42 Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;	42 De' figliuoli di Neftali, per tutte le sue case e le sue famiglie, da venti anni in su, che a battaglia potessero andare, ne sono usciti, per li nomi di ciascuno,
43 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.	43 cinquantatrè migliaia, CCCC.
44 These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.	44 Questi sono quelli che annumerò Moisè e Aaron, con quelli duodeci principi d'Israel, per tutte le schiatte e generazioni loro.
45 So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;	45 E sono trovati fra tutti, per le case e famiglie sue, da venti anni in su, che a battaglia potessero andare,
46 Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.	46 secentotre migliaia e cinquecento cinquanta uomini.
47 But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.	47 Della schiatta di Levi non ne fu niuno numerato tra coloro.
48 For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,	48 Parlò Iddio a Moisè, e dissegli:
49 Only thou shalt not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:	49 La schiatta di Levi non la numerare; non ne porre la loro somma cogli figliuoli d'Israel.
50 But thou shalt appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall encamp round about the tabernacle.	50 Ma porraili alla guardia del tabernacolo della testimonianza, e sopra tutti li suoi vasi, e tutto quello che s'appartiene alle cerimonie. Loro porte ranno il tabernacolo e ogni adornamento; e loro staranno in guardia, sempre abitandovi appresso.
51 And when the tabernacle setteth forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be put to death.	51 E quando s'anderà, li Leviti deponeranno il tabernacolo; quando si dirizzerà le tende d'alloggiare, [ lo leveranno ]. E se alcuno istrano si sia accostato, incontanente l'uccidano.
52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.	52 E ciascuno de' figliuoli d'Israel (per tutte le loro generazioni) porrà le sue tende per alloggiare, secondo le sue compagnie e uomini d'arme e lo suo esercito.
53 But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.	53 Ma i figliuoli di Levi tenderanno loro tende per lo circuito del tabernacolo, acciò che non sia indignazione sofra la moltitudine de' figliuoli d'Israel; e giaceranno ivi per guardia del tabernacolo della testimonianza.
54 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.	54 E fecero i figliuoli d'Israel, secondo che Iddio comandò a Moisè.
