2 In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion.	2 Ben noto è Dio in Giuda, grande è il suo nome in Israele.
3 There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.	3 In Gerusalemme s'è fissata la sua dimora, in Sion la sua abitazione.
4 Thou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.	4 Qui spezzò le saette dell'arco, lo scudo, la spada, la guerra.
5 The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.	5 Splendido tu sei apparso, o Potente, più che i monti eterni. Della preda

8 Thou didst cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,	8 Terribile tu sei... Chi può resistere davanti alla veemenza della tua ira?
9 When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.	9 Hai fatto udire dai cieli la sentenza; la terra è sbigottita e tace
10 Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.	10 quando Dio si alza per giudicare, per recare salvezza a tutti i poveri della terra.
11 Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.	11 Sì, l'uomo colpito dal tuo furore ti renderà grazie e lo scampato dalla tua ira ti farà festa.
12 He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.	12 Fate voti al Signore, vostro Dio, e adempiteli; tutti i popoli confinanti portino i loro doni
