Psalms 126

1 When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.	1 Cantico de' gradi di Salomone.Se il Signore non arà edificata la casa, inIvano si affaticarono coloro che la edificano. Se il Signore non arà guardata la città, invano vigilano coloro che la guardano.
2 Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The LORD hath done great things for them.	2 A voi è vano levarvi inanzi la luce; levatevi dopo che arete seduto, voi che mangiate il pane del dolore. Quando avrà dato alli suoi diletti il sonno;
3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.	3 ecco la eredità del Signore, il frutto del ventre e li figliuoli della mercede.
4 Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.	4 Come sono le sagitte nella mano del potente, così sono figliuoli de' profeti apostoli.
5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.	5 Beato l'uomo che di queste cose ha empiuto il suo desiderio; non si confunderà quando parlarà sulla porta alli nemici suoi.
6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.
