1 Kijelentés Egyiptom ellen. Íme, az Úr gyors felhőn száguld és lemegy Egyiptomba. Meginognak színe előtt Egyiptom bálványai, és Egyiptom szíve elernyed bensejében.	1 Proclamation about Egypt: Look! Yahweh, riding a swift cloud, is coming to Egypt. The false gods ofEgypt totter before him and Egypt's heart quails within her.

18 Azon a napon öt olyan város lesz Egyiptom földjén, mely Kánaán nyelvén beszél, és a Seregek Urára esküszik; Nap városának nevezik majd az egyiket.	18 That day in Egypt there wil be five towns speaking the language of Canaan and pledging themselvesto Yahweh Sabaoth; one of them will be cal ed City of the Sun.
19 Azon a napon oltára lesz az Úrnak Egyiptom földjének belsejében, és emlékoszlopa az Úrnak az ország határánál.	19 That day there wil be an altar dedicated to Yahweh in the centre of Egypt and, close to the frontier, apil ar dedicated to Yahweh,
20 Ez jel és bizonyság lesz a Seregek Uráról Egyiptom földjén; ha az Úrhoz kiáltanak szorongatóik miatt, szabadítót és vezetőt küld nekik, hogy megmentse őket.	20 and this will be a sign and a witness to Yahweh Sabaoth in Egypt. When they cry to Yahweh for helpbecause of oppressors, he wil send them a Saviour and leader to deliver them.
21 Megismerteti magát az Úr Egyiptommal, és megismeri Egyiptom az Urat azon a napon; véres- és ételáldozattal hódolnak, s fogadalmat tesznek az Úrnak, és teljesítik azt.	21 Yahweh will reveal himself to Egypt, and the Egyptians wil acknowledge Yahweh that day and wiloffer sacrifices and cereal offerings, and wil make vows to Yahweh and perform them.
22 Bár kemény csapással sújtja az Úr Egyiptomot, de meg is gyógyítja: megtérnek az Úrhoz, és ő enged kérésüknek, s meggyógyítja őket.	22 And if Yahweh strikes Egypt, having struck he wil heal, and they wil turn to Yahweh who wil heartheir prayers and heal them.
23 Azon a napon út vezet majd Egyiptomból Asszíriába; az asszírok Egyiptomba mennek, és az egyiptomiak Asszíriába; és szolgálni fog Egyiptom Asszíriával együtt.	23 That day there wil be a highway from Egypt to Assyria. Assyria will have access to Egypt and Egypthave access to Assyria. Egypt wil serve with Assyria.
24 Azon a napon Izrael harmadikként Egyiptom és Asszíria mellett áldás lesz a föld közepén,	24 That day Israel will make a third with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing at the centre of the world,
25 melyet megáld a Seregek Ura e szavakkal: »Áldott az én népem, Egyiptom, kezemnek műve, Asszíria, és örökségem, Izrael!«	25 and Yahweh Sabaoth wil bless them in the words, 'Blessed be my people Egypt, Assyria my creation,and Israel my heritage.'
