KÁLDI-NEOVULGÁTA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 És felelt Jób, és ezt mondta:	1 Job spoke next. He said:
2 »Most is keserves a panaszom, s az engem sújtó kéz súlyosabb, mint ahogy panaszolom.	2 My lament is stil rebellious; despite my groans, his hand is just as heavy.
3 Bár tudnám, hogyan találjam meg őt és jussak trónja elé!	3 Wil no one help me to know how to travel to his dwel ing?
4 Feltárnám az ügyet előtte, és szám telve lenne ellenvetéssel;	4 I should set out my case to him, advancing any number of grievances.
5 ügyelnék a szavakra, amelyekkel válaszol nekem, és megtudnám, mit mond ő nekem!	5 Then I could learn his defence, every word of it, taking note of everything he said to me.

16 Ernyedtté tette Isten a szívemet, s a Mindenható megrémített engem,	16 God has undermined my courage, Shaddai has filled me with fear.
17 mert nem a fenyegető sötétség miatt megyek én tönkre, és arcomat nem borította homály.	17 The darkness having failed to destroy me, I am plunged back into obscurity by him!
