Livre d'Ézéchiel 2

JERUSALEM	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Il me dit: "Fils d'homme, tiens-toi debout, je vais te parler."	1 He said, 'Son of man, get to your feet; I wil speak to you.'
2 L'esprit entra en moi comme il m'avait été dit, il me fit tenir debout et j'entendis celui qui meparlait.	2 As he said these words the spirit came into me and put me on my feet, and I heard him speaking to me.
3 Il me dit: "Fils d'homme, je t'envoie vers les Israélites, vers les rebelles qui se sont rebellés contremoi. Eux et leurs pères se sont révoltés contre moi jusqu'à ce jour.	3 He said, 'Son of man, I am sending you to the Israelites, to the rebels who have rebel ed against me.They and their ancestors have been in revolt against me up to the present day.
4 Les fils ont la tête dure et le coeur obstiné, je t'envoie vers eux pour leur dire: Ainsi parle leSeigneur Yahvé.	4 Because they are stubborn and obstinate children, I am sending you to them, to say, "Lord Yahwehsays this."
5 Qu'ils écoutent ou qu'ils n'écoutent pas, c'est une engeance de rebelles, ils sauront qu'il y a unprophète parmi eux.	5 Whether they listen or not, this tribe of rebels will know there is a prophet among them.
6 Pour toi, fils d'homme, n'aie pas peur d'eux, n'aie pas peur de leurs paroles s'ils te contredisent et teméprisent et si tu es assis sur des scorpions. N'aie pas peur de leurs paroles, ne crains pas leurs regards, car c'estune engeance de rebelles.	6 And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them or of what they say, though you find yourself surroundedwith brambles and sitting on scorpions. Do not be afraid of their words or alarmed by their looks, for they are atribe of rebels.
7 Tu leur porteras mes paroles, qu'ils écoutent ou qu'ils n'écoutent pas, car c'est une engeance derebelles.	7 You are to deliver my words to them whether they listen or not, for they are a tribe of rebels.
8 Et toi, fils d'homme, écoute ce que je vais te dire, ne sois pas rebelle comme cette engeance derebelles. Ouvre la bouche et mange ce que je vais te donner."	8 But you, son of man, are to listen to what I say to you; do not be a rebel like that rebellious tribe. Openyour mouth and eat what I am about to give you.'
9 Je regardai, et voici qu'une main était tendue vers moi, tenant un volume roulé.	9 When I looked, there was a hand stretch- ing out to me, holding a scrol .
10 Il le déploya devant moi: il était écrit au recto et au verso; il y était écrit: "Lamentations,gémissements et plaintes."	10 He un- rol ed it in front of me; it was written on, front and back; on it was written 'Lamentations, dirgesand cries of grief '.
