Jeremiah 28

1 And it came to pass in that year, in the beginning of the reign of Sedecias king of Juda, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, that Hananias the son of Azur, a prophet of Gabaon spoke to me, in the house of the Lord before the priests, and all the people, saying:	1 E fatto è in quello anno, nel principio del reame di Sedecia, re di Giuda, nel quarto anno e nel quinto mese; disse a me Anania, figliuolo di Azur, profeta di Gabaon, nella casa di Dio, innanzi alli sacerdoti e a tutto il popolo, dicente:
2 Thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.	2 Questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti, Iddio d' Israel: io hoe tritato lo giogo dello re di Babilonia.
3 As yet two years of days, and I will cause all the vessels of the house of the Lord to be brought back into this place, which Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon.	3 Ancora due anni de' dì, [e io] farò riportare a questo luogo tutti li vasi [della casa] di Dio, i quali portò Nabucodonosor, re di Babilonia.
4 And I will bring back to this place Jechonias the son of Joakim king of Juda, and all the captives of Juda, that are gone to Babylon, saith the Lord: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.	4 E Ioconia, figliuolo di Ioachim, re di Giuda, e tutta la transmigrazione di Giuda, i quali entrarono in Babilonia, io convertirò a questo luogo, dice Iddio; e triterò lo giogo [del re] di Babilonia.
5 And Jeremias the prophet said to Hananias the prophet in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the Lord:	5 E disse Ieremia profeta ad Anania profeta, dinanzi a tutti li occhi de' sacerdoti, e a tutto il populo che stava nella casa di Dio.
6 And Jeremias the prophet said: Amen, the Lord do so: the Lord perform thy words, which thou hast prophesied: that the vessels may be brought again into the house of the Lord, and all the captives may return out of Babylon to this place.	6 E disse Ieremia profeta: amen, così faccia Iddio risuscitare tutte le tue parole le quali tu (parlasti e) profetasti, che siano recate le vasa nella casa di Dio, e tutta la transmigrazione di Babilonia a questo luogo.
7 Nevertheless hear this word that I speak in thy ears, and in the ears of all the people:	7 Ma odi questa parola, la quale io parlo nelli tuoi orecchi, e nelli orecchi di tutto il populo :
8 The prophets that have been before me, and before thee from the beginning, and have prophesied concerning many countries, and concerning great kingdoms, of war, and of affliction, and of famine.	8 Li profeti, li quali profetarono dinanzi da me e dinanzi [da te] dal principio, e profetarono sopra molte terre, e sopra grandi regni (della terra), della battaglia e della afflizione e della fame.
9 The prophet that prophesied peace when his word shall come to pass, the prophet shall be known, whom the Lord hath sent in truth.	9 Lo profeta il quale ha dovinato pace, quando la sua parola [verrà], sarà conosciuto profeta, lo quale mandò Iddio in verità.
10 And Hananias the prophet took the chain from the neck of Jeremias the prophet, and broke it.	10 E tolse Anania profeta la catena del collo di Ieremia, e ruppela.
11 And Hananias spoke in the presence of all the people, saying: Thus saith the Lord: Even so will I break the yoke of Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon after two full years from off the neck of all the nations.	11 E disse Anania nel conspetto di tutto il populo, dicendo: questo dice Iddio: così romperò io lo giogo dello re di Babilonia, dopo due anni de'dì, del collo di tutte le genti.
12 And Jeremias the prophet went his way. And the word of the Lord came to Jeremias, after that Hananias the prophet had broken the chain from off the neck of Jeremias the prophet, saying:	12 E Ieremia profeta se n' andò nella via sua. E disse Iddio a Ieremia, poi che Anania tagliò la catena del collo di Ieremia profeta, dicendo:
13 Go, and tell Hananias: Thus saith the Lord: Thou hast broken chains of wood, and thou shalt make for them chains of iron.	13 Va, e dirai ad Anania: questo dice Iddio: tu hai rotte le catene di legno, e farai quelle catene di ferro.
14 For thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, to serve Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, and they shall serve him: moreover also I have given him the beasts of the earth.	14 Però [che] questo dice lo Signore delli esèrciti, Iddio d' Israel: io hoe posto lo giogo di ferro sopra lo collo a tutte queste genti, acciò che servano allo re di Babilonia, e serviranno a lui; anche li ho date le bestie della terra.
15 And Jeremias the prophet said to Hananias the prophet: Hear now, Hananias: the Lord hath not sent thee, and thou hast made this people to trust in a lie.	15 E disse Ieremia profeta ad Anania: Iddio non ti mandò, e tu facesti confidare questo populo in bugia.
16 Therefore thus saith the Lord: Behold I will send thee away from off the face of the earth: this year shalt thou die: for thou hast spoken against the Lord.	16 Però questo dice Iddio: ecco io ti manderò dalla faccia della terra, e morrai in questo anno; tu hai parlato contro a Dio.
17 And Hananias the prophet died in that year, in the seventh month.	17 E morio Anania profeta in quello anno, nel mese settimo.
