1 Then Baldad the Suhite answered, and I said:	1 فاجاب بلدد الشوحي وقال
2 Power and terror are with him, who maketh peace in his high places.	2 السلطان والهيبة عنده. هو صانع السلام في اعاليه.
3 Is there any numbering of his soldiers? and upon whom shall not his light arise?	3 هل من عدد لجنوده وعلى من لا يشرق نوره.
4 Can man be justified compared with God, or he that is born of a woman appear clean?	4 فكيف يتبرر الانسان عند الله وكيف يزكو مولود المرأة.
5 Behold even the moon doth not shine, and the stars are not pure in his sight.	5 هوذا نفس القمر لا يضيء والكواكب غير نقية في عينيه.
6 How much less man that is rottenness and the son of man who is a worm?	6 فكم بالحري الانسان الرمّة وابن آدم الدود
