DIODATI	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 CERTO, Ar di Moab è stato saccheggiato, e distrutto di notte; certo di notte è stato saccheggiato, e distrutto Chir di Moab.	1 The burden of Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste, it is silent: because the wall of Moab is destroyed in the night, it is silent.
2 Egli è salito al tempio, e Dibon è salito agli alti luoghi, per piangere; Moab urlerà per Nebo, e per Medeba; tutte le teste di esso saranno pelate, ed ogni barba sarà rasa.	2 The house is gone up, and Dibon to the high places to mourn over Nabo, and over Medaba, Moab hath howled: ton all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard shall be shaven.
3 Essi si cingeranno di sacchi per le sue strade; tutti quanti urleranno sopra i suoi tetti, e nelle sue piazze, struggendosi in pianto.	3 In their streets they are girded with sackcloth: on the tops of their houses, and in their streets all shall howl and come down weeping.
4 Hesbon ed Eleale han gridato; la lor voce è stata udita infino a Iahas; perciò, la gente di guerra di Moab ha fatto un gran gridare; l’anima loro si è rammaricata.	4 Hesebon shall cry, and Eleale, their voice is heard even to Jasa. For this shall the well appointed men of Moab howl, his soul shall howl to itself.
5 Il cuor mio sclama per Moab; i suoi fuggenti se ne son fuggiti infino a Soar, come una giovenca di tre anni; perciocchè si salirà per la salita di Luhit con pianto, e si leverà un grido di fracasso nella via di Horonaim	5 My heart shall cry to Moab, the bars thereof shall flee unto Segor a heifer of three years old: for by the ascent of Luith they shall go up weeping: and in the way of Oronaim they shall lift up a cry of destruction.
6 Perciocchè le acque di Nimrim saranno ridotte in luoghi deserti; e l’erba si seccherà, e l’erbaggio mancherà, e non vi sarà più alcuna verdura.	6 For the waters of Nemrim shall be desolate, for the grass is withered away, the spring is faded, all the greenness is perished.
7 Perciò, quello ch’egli avrà riserbato, e ciò che avranno riposto, sarà portato nella valle degli Arabi.	7 According to the greatness of their work, is their visitation also: they shall lead them to the torrent of the willows.
8 Perciocchè le grida han circondati i confini di Moab, il suo urlo è andato infino ad Eglaim, il suo urlo è andato infino a Beer-elim.	8 For the cry is gone round about the border of Moab: the howling thereof unto Gallim, and unto the well of Elim the cry thereof.
9 E le acque di Dimon sono state ripiene di sangue; perciocchè io aggiungerò mali sopra mali a Dimon; io manderò il leone contro quelli che saranno scampati di Moab, e contro al rimanente del paese	9 For the waters of Dibon are filled with blood: for I will bring more upon Dibon: the lion upon them that shall flee of Moab, and upon the remnant of the land.
