1 Cantico di Maalot. SIGNORE, io grido a te di luoghi profondi.	1 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.
2 Signore, ascolta il mio grido; Sieno le tue orecchie attente Alla voce delle mie supplicazioni.	2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.
3 Signore, se tu poni mente alle iniquità, Chi potrà durare, o Signore?	3 If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
4 Ma appo te vi è perdono, Acciocchè tu sii temuto	4 But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
5 Io ho aspettato il Signore; l’anima mia l’ha aspettato, Ed io ho sperato nella sua parola.	5 I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.
6 L’anima mia riguarda al Signore, Più che le guardie non riguardano alla mattina, Stando a guardar quando verrà la mattina.	6 My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
7 Aspetti Israele il Signore; Perciocchè appo il Signore vi è benignità, E molta redenzione.	7 Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
8 Ed egli riscatterà Israele Di tutte le sue iniquità	8 And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
