1 Salmo de David. Cuando huía de su hijo Absalón	1 A psalm of David, when he fled from his son Absalom.
2 Señor, ¡qué numerosos son mis adversarios, cuántos los que se levantan contra mí!	2 How many are my foes, LORD! How many rise against me!
3 ¡Cuántos son los que dicen de mí: «Dios ya no quiere salvarlo»!	3 How many say of me, "God will not save that one." Selah
4 Pero Tú eres mi escudo protector y mi gloria, tú mantienes erguida mi cabeza.	4 But you, LORD, are a shield around me; my glory, you keep my head high.
5 Invoco al Señor en alta voz, y él me responde desde su santa Montaña.	5 Whenever I cried out to the LORD, I was answered from the holy mountain. Selah
6 Yo me acuesto y me duermo, y me despierto tranquilo porque el Señor me sostiene.	6 Whenever I lay down and slept, the LORD preserved me to rise again.
7 No temo a la multitud innumerable, apostada contra mí por todas partes.	7 I do not fear, then, thousands of people arrayed against me on every side.
8 ¡Levántate, Señor! ¡Sálvame, Dios mío! Tú golpeas en la mejilla a mis enemigos y rompes los dientes de los malvados.	8 Arise, LORD! Save me, my God! You will shatter the jaws of all my foes; you will break the teeth of the wicked.
9 ¡En ti, Señor, está la salvación, y tu bendición sobre tu pueblo!	9 Safety comes from the LORD! Your blessing for your people! Selah
