1 El Señor habló a Moisés en estos términos:	1 The LORD said to Moses,
2 El día primero del primer mes erigirás la Morada, la Carpa del Encuentro.	2 "On the first day of the first month you shall erect the tabernacle of the tent of meeting.
3 Allí pondrás el Arca del Testimonio y la protegerás con el velo.	3 And you shall put in it the ark of the testimony, and you shall screen the ark with the veil.
4 Luego llevarás la mesa y dispondrás sobre ella lo que sea necesario. También llevarás el candelabro y le colocarás las lámparas.	4 And you shall bring in the table, and set its arrangements in order; and you shall bring in the lampstand, and set up its lamps.
5 Delante del Arca del Testimonio pondrás el altar de oro para el incienso, y a la entrada de la Morada colgarás la cortina.	5 And you shall put the golden altar for incense before the ark of the testimony, and set up the screen for the door of the tabernacle.
6 Después pondrás el altar de los holocaustos delante de la entrada de la Morada;	6 You shall set the altar of burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting,
7 y entre la Carpa del Encuentro y el altar, colocarás la fuente llena de agua.	7 and place the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it.
8 Levantarás el atrio alrededor, y a su entrada colgarás el cortinado correspondiente.	8 And you shall set up the court round about, and hang up the screen for the gate of the court.
9 Luego tomarás el óleo de la unción y ungirás la Morada y todo lo que ella contiene. Así la consagrarás con todo su mobiliario y será una cosa sagrada.	9 Then you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it, and consecrate it and all its furniture; and it shall become holy.
10 Ungirás asimismo el altar de los holocaustos con todos sus utensilios. Así consagrarás el altar, y este será una cosa santísima.	10 You shall also anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils, and consecrate the altar; and the altar shall be most holy.
11 También ungirás la fuente y su base, para que quedan consagradas.	11 You shall also anoint the laver and its base, and consecrate it.
12 Después harás que Aarón y sus hijos se acerquen a la entrada de la Carpa del Encuentro y los lavarás con agua.	12 Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tent of meeting, and shall wash them with water,
13 Luego revestirás a Aarón con las vestiduras sagradas, lo ungirás y lo consagrarás para que sea mi sacerdote.	13 and put upon Aaron the holy garments, and you shall anoint him and consecrate him, that he may serve me as priest.
14 Posteriormente, harás que también se acerquen sus hijos. Los vestirás con túnicas	14 You shall bring his sons also and put coats on them,
15 y los ungirás como ungiste a su padres, a fin de que ejerzan mi sacerdocio. Esto se hará a fin de que la unción les confiera el sacerdocio para siempre, a lo largo de las generaciones.	15 and anoint them, as you anointed their father, that they may serve me as priests: and their anointing shall admit them to a perpetual priesthood throughout their generations."
16 Moisés realizó exactamente todo lo que el Señor le había ordenado.	16 Thus did Moses; according to all that the LORD commanded him, so he did.
17 En el segundo año, el primer día del primer mes, se procedió a la erección de la Morada.	17 And in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was erected.
18 Para ello, Moisés asentó sus bases, colocó sus bastidores, dispuso sus travesaños y levantó sus columnas.	18 Moses erected the tabernacle; he laid its bases, and set up its frames, and put in its poles, and raised up its pillars;
19 Después extendió la carpa por encima de la Morada, y sobre ella colocó la cobertura de la carpa, como el Señor se lo había ordenado.	19 and he spread the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent over it, as the LORD had commanded Moses.
20 En seguida tomó las tablas del Testimonio y los puso en el arca; sujetó las andas en el arca, y sobre ella colocó la tapa.	20 And he took the testimony and put it into the ark, and put the poles on the ark, and set the mercy seat above on the ark;
21 Entonces condujo el arca hasta el interior de la Morada, colgó el velo que la protegía y así cubrió el Arca del Testimonio, conforme a la orden que el Señor le había dado.	21 and he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the veil of the screen, and screened the ark of the testimony; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
22 También puso la mesa en la Carpa del Encuentro, sobre el lado norte de la Morada, delante del cortinado,	22 And he put the table in the tent of meeting, on the north side of the tabernacle, outside the veil,
23 y dispuso convenientemente sobre ella los panes de la ofrenda, delante del Señor, como el mismo Señor se lo había mandado.	23 and set the bread in order on it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
24 Luego puso el candelabro frente a la mesa, en el lado sur de la Morada,	24 And he put the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle,
25 y le colocó las lámparas delante del Señor, como el Señor se lo había ordenado.	25 and set up the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
26 Puso asimismo el altar de oro delante del cortinado,	26 And he put the golden altar in the tent of meeting before the veil,
27 y quemó en él incienso aromático, como el Señor lo había ordenado a Moisés	27 and burnt fragrant incense upon it; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
28 A la entrada de la Morada colgó la cortina,	28 And he put in place the screen for the door of the tabernacle.
29 y delante de la entrada de la Carpa del Encuentro puso el altar de los holocaustos, sobre el cual ofreció el holocausto y la oblación, conforme a la orden del Señor.	29 And he set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the cereal offering; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
30 Entre la Carpa del Encuentro y el altar ubicó la fuente y le echó agua para las abluciones.	30 And he set the laver between the tent of meeting and the altar, and put water in it for washing,
31 Moisés, Aarón y sus hijos se lavaron en ella las manos y los pies,	31 with which Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet;
32 y siempre que entraban en la Carpa del Encuentro y se acercaban al altar, se lavaban, como el Señor se lo había ordenado a Moisés.	32 when they went into the tent of meeting, and when they approached the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.
33 Finalmente, levantó el atrio alrededor de la Morada y del altar, y colgó el cortinado a la entrada del atrio. De esta manera Moisés dio por terminado el trabajo.	33 And he erected the court round the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.
34 Entonces la nube cubrió la Carpa del Encuentro y la gloria del Señor llenó la Morada.	34 Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
35 Moisés no podía entrar en la Carpa del Encuentro, porque la nube se había instalado sobre ella y la gloria del Señor llenaba la Morada.	35 And Moses was not able to enter the tent of meeting, because the cloud abode upon it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
36 En todas las etapas del camino, cuando la nube se alzaba, alejándose de la Morada, los israelitas levantaban el campamento.	36 Throughout all their journeys, whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the people of Israel would go onward;
37 Pero si la nube no se alzaba, ellos no se movían, hasta que la nube volvía a hacerlo.	37 but if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not go onward till the day that it was taken up.
38 Porque durante el día, la nube del Señor estaba sobre la morada, y durante la noche, un fuego brillaba en ella, a la vista de todo el pueblo de Israel. Esto sucedía en todas las etapas del camino.	38 For throughout all their journeys the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was in it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel.
